Some of the best coffee beans I've had in any city in the world. The website tells more about the farms where the beans are sourced from, and the staff onsite provide great insights into the various offerings. The naturally processed Ethiopian beans make for a wonderful pour over. The bottled drinks are also fantastic, especially the cold brew and golden milk. Drive through pop-ups and collaborations with local brands provide variety while maintaining safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Decaf Honduras Marcala is great! Really glad to find a roaster with a solid, recently roasted decaf option. I love espresso so much that I travel with my Decent, but I can only drink decaf. I forgot my beans on a business trip, and I’m happy I found Tinker! When brewing these beans I kept it simple with a ramped profile starting at 9 bars and ending at 6 bars, 7s preinfusion, 2:1 ratio, 194° water, and an extra gram in an 18 gram portafilter. I found it perfect to drink straight and it combined well with oat milk. Thanks Tinker!

This out of the way production facility is not somewhere you go to sit down for a cup of coffee (no seating or regular coffee service). That said, they do have bags of coffee and coffee goods for sale. The friendly fellow that helped me recommended a blend based on my preferred taste. He was kind enough to make me an espresso as well. It was nice to have the opportunity to sample a different blend than I was purchasing. I really appreciate it when roasters like Tinker and Julian have public facing sections of their roasteries.

My wife was at the airport in Indianapolis when she had some of this Tinker coffee! She thought it was fantastic and brought me a bag, I was a little optimistic at first since I've been having a really good coffee here in the northwest but this coffee is very delicious and can compete with any of the roasters here! Thanks for a great cup of happiness!

I roast my own coffee and if I'm out and in a pinch I only buy Tinker coffee. They do it right! Amazing roasters.

I had a cup of Tinker dark roast coffee at the Indianapolis International Airport yesterday. Admittedly, I am a coffee snob. I've had coffee from all over the world including Brazil which is hard to equal. The cup of Tinker dark roast I had yesterday was one of the best cup's of coffee I've ever had. Thank you!

Came across this lovely tasting piece of nature at an art fair and scooped up a bag. I chose the caramel because I know I like that flavor even if I don't like the product, but I was not disappointed. This rich robust coffee now starts my day every day. There are numerous coffee roasters in Indianapolis, however I have yet to find any that make as good of a cup as tinker coffee co. I would highly recommend this place for getting the best and most interesting coffee roasts. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly even going as far as giving me free filters when they were out of stock, tinker coffee roasters is easily one of my favorite things about Indianapolis. (2023 addition: to add to this review tinker is an asset to Indy's coffee community the events they host and facilitate are amazing and really show how involved tinker is!)

Not only do they have delicious coffee, the location at AMP 16 Tech is fabulous! They helped me change out a large order and it was so simple and they were super easy and nice to work with!

I was on the road driving through Indianapolis and really wanted some quality coffee. The cafe was closed due to Labor Day so I walked into the roastery where I was welcomed by Austin, the sourcing director. He was very accommodating and in addition to chatting with me about coffee, offered to make me an espresso since the cafe was closed. This was a complete day maker and in all honesty some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. I love this place and will begin ordering bulk from you guys! Thank you.
