I just stopped by on my way home in MI from SW side of Indiana. All baristas were very friendly, and all the draft bars they set up were pretty unique and cool looking. Not only that the drinks were really great. I always find flavored espresso drinks to be too sweet forward but this was just good enough to enjoy the bitterness from the coffee as well. I will definitely return if I’m heading down to this direction!!

Incredible coffee and a great coffee shop vibe. The coffee is smooth and balanced, and the shop is very clean and welcoming. I stopped in twice while I was in town for work - I highly recommend it if you’re downtown!

It’s not real coffee. They don’t even have Italian espresso machine. Coffee is just made from concentrate with tap water. Taste worse than hotel coffee…. Nice space and atmosphere though. I hope you improve the quality of coffee or the quality of concentrate.

We got hot & cold coffee drinks, dirty chai, and a frappe. It was all delicious and served quickly. It has great vibes and decor. There’s even a walk up window!

Excellent coffee spot in the heart of downtown Indy! Recently I've stopped at Java House a couple times, each time ordering a specialty coffee along with breakfast sandwich. The Honey Baby is a great not too sweet option, and the Bonfire Brew is a deliciously sweet seasonal beverage as well. Sandwiches like the bacon & egg on a bagel are served flavorful and piping hot. Baristas are kindly, professional, and humorous today in particular! In my latest visit, somehow my name on the receipt came up as "Nerd". The server denied any knowledge, stating "I'm not sure how that name came up". Whether or not it was a deliberate joke, laughs were had on both sides of the counter! Happy National Coffee Day to Java House!

Very chill ambience. I saw people having business meetings. Some people are just doing work. Employees up front were nice. The coffee is a bit stronger than I’m used to, but the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel was good. I needed two to fill me up, but I was also really hungry. $5 for each sandwich $6 for my drink with extra pumps of caramel. About average when it comes to coffee shop prices

Great atmosphere, not great coffee. The drinks are all from cold brew concentrate and are gross, they claim to be authentic on their signs, but I had to ask why I saw her pull the coffee out of a pour spout instead of pulling espresso. I’d love to work in their space, I can’t get over ordering a latte and getting a bit of cold brew with a ton of milk.

While traveling in Indianapolis, we stopped in here. I like nitro cold brew, but it's truly terrible at some places. This is the BEST I've ever had! Smooth good flavor, excellent head on it... so good. My wife got a coconut chocolate maho and it was awesome as well. Great flavors, not hidden in sugary syrup.

Got the iced team caramel latte and the whip cream was pretty fantastic! Could envision spending all morning there! Chill environment and great place to relax. Also loved the walk up window to do your ordering.

Java House downtown is one of my favorite coffee shops to visit. Their coffees are always delicious and the staff is so friendly! Their cold brew might be one of my favorites, hands down, but their hot coffee is also amazing. If you’re looking for coffee on Mass Ave this is a wonderful place to check out! Strongly recommend. :)

I'm a huge Java House fan and love this new location! The atmosphere is true to their brand while uniquely its own. I had the drink of the month ("The Boardwalk") and it was delicious! I love how they highlight and employee creation each month. I took it upstairs to enjoy in the loft that overlooks the store. There are so many different spaces to study or work, take a meeting, hangout with friends or just enjoy a glass of coffee solo. I also love the patio! They have a walk up window outside that is perfect if you have your dogs with you.

I was looking for a replacement coffee shop after seeing that the Starbucks closed down on the circle. When I came around 2 pm they were already out of all pumpkin cold brew. I went for a large “sweater weather” which was pretty good. However, the price was not! It was $8.41 for a large coffee and then of course the machine asks if you want to add tip on top of that. If I added even a $1 tip this coffee would’ve been almost $10! For comparison, I go to NYC and get a pistachio milk latte for under $8. The coffee was good and I like the atmosphere but the price just seems incredibly high for an Indianapolis location. As well, the bathroom has a code so you have to go back to the front and ask for it if you elect not to get a receipt. Which can be inconvenient if a line has formed. They do have a loft that can be rented upstairs which looked nice but I base this review on my experience. Also, if you note, none of the prices are displayed for their specialty drinks. A marketing tactic I have really come to hate and docked a star for. Probably wouldn’t come here again unless it’s was getting one of their base price drinks which seem to be more reasonably priced.

Very yummy. Tried the cold brew with the pumpkin foam on top. It was good-not too sweet. Also tried the coffee whipped cream and that was delicious! The inside is cute which is a plus!

I haven't been here before. I parked at the meter (I didn't know if the coffee shop offered parking, which they should). It was busy, but the shop is also located downtown. I ordered a tea and I don't know if it got sweetened with stevia or not. If there is a rewards card, this would be helpful to know as well. The service seemed rushed, but over all, the atmosphere was nice. Not sure if I would be a regular. I paid less than $5. It would be nice to get 1 refill. Thanks

Best coffee shop ever!!!!!!! This is my every day go-to for my new favorite customized drink. Every time I take someone in with me, they become obsessed too. :) You won't find a better and more friendly staff of workers....every single one of them!!! Trust me....you want to try the house made "java whipped cream" on your drink!

I think it's really unique that Java House is a cold brew-based concept. There are so many options of cold brew, including nitro and hot beverages, as well as a super concentrated version of their cold brew used for their "latte"-type beverages. I LOVE that you can create whatever flavor of cold foam that you like. The cold brew was smooth and had a great taste/didn't taste watery. The space itself (the downtown location) is spacious, well-lit, and comfortable. The employees were incredibly helpful, especially for a Java House first-timer.

Got the workaholic, which is a latte with maple almond. Delicious! Can also buy coffee flights, growlers, k-cup boxes, and to-go coffee boxes. Plenty of space to sit and work inside, great vibes. There’s a retail parking lot in between Java House and Rise N Roll donuts.

Pretty nice place to relax and doesn’t feel like a commercialized chain. I’m not a serious coffee drinker but the Mistletoe tea was great! Others that got coffee definitely enjoyed it. Not a place to get your hundreds of drink options like a Starbucks. This place seems to just focus on good coffee, tea and nice vibe. I can dig it.

huge coffee nerd/barista here. this cafe was SO MUCH FUN!! they use cold brew concentrate instead of espresso, which was such a cool take on a latte! coffee was silky smooth and the flavor was perfect. if youre looking for something a little different, java house is absolutely worth a shot.

I love this place! Although it is cold brew based and not the traditional espresso, I still buy one practically every day. The employees are all so sweet and wonderful. Definitely recommend this place for a try!

Delicious cold brew coffee items. Good flavor options, great prices, delicious coffee whipped cream. Got a latte on my first visit (my go-to) and enjoyed every sip.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. The honey baby is the best latte I’ve ever had. Staff is so sweet. Store is too cute.

I just happened to walk by and came in for a latte. Nothing too special about it (had the English Toffee latte), just a pretty good latte. I don't think they compete with the big chains on coffee, but the atmosphere is definitely more inviting. Would definitely come back to try something else.
