This place is a regular for me for lunch. The staff there is amazing and makes you really feel at home. They're very personable and remember your face and your orders. Lots of options for food. The buffalo chicken quesadilla is my favorite, and their chicken velvet soup is awesome.

I came across Cafe 251 through google maps, just browsing for lunch. The location isn't quite as convenient as I hoped, but it's perfect for those who work in the same building. The soups are amazing! This week I tried the Chicken Velvet and Chicken con Queso, both amazing. 10/10 for the Chicken Salad Sandwich and Broccoli Salad. Delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, as well as helpful! It was an overall welcoming vibe and I look forward to having lunch here more often. oh, P.S. - they have the good ice!

Great food and very large portions. I was a bit disappointed that it's a Cunningham restaurant but they don't accept the rewards system since it's co-owned. The place was clean and inviting, but instructions on how to order would have been helpful as a first timer.

Very friendly staff. Nice, low-key place for suits in the downtown area. Prices were not outrageous for what you get. Food is like higher quality cafeteria food. The eating area here is probably the best part. Floor to ceiling windows give you a great view of New York street as people are running around on lunch break.

My husband had an appointment at the University Hospital. Indianapolis is approximately 2 1/2 hours from home and we did not want to be a minute late. Therefore we were over an hour early. We asked a man doing electrical work around the corner from you where we might get a cup of coffee. When we entered your cafe, employees were setting up for breakfast. We said we were willing to wait until they were finished getting set up. One of the men stopped setting up, took our order, made a very tasty breakfast sandwich and coffee. He was accommodating, cheerful and we didn't feel like we were a burden. It was like he was expecting us! Hahahahaha! What a great experience. You all were amazing! And you were right! The brownie I bought for later was amazing too! In a rush-rush world it is refreshing to find such courteous people in the middle of the city. THANK YOU!

Quick lunch place to get yummy food. Today I had the chili and broccoli salad.

They have really fresh salads and produce. I enjoy the taco and cobb salads. The sandwiches are also of quality. The place can be busy, but the line moves fast, so dont let a line out the door scare you. This place has become a regular lunch spot for many downtown workers looking for a good/healthy lunch.

the brunette chick working here is rude as hell. i ask for a breakfast sandwich and she is immediately short with me and rushing me, saying that it’s too much work during the lunch rush. the older ladies that work here have never had an issue.
