PROS: This hotel is pretty amazing. The architecture and artwork are beautiful. The rooms are spacious, well designed, and the amenities are plentiful. There is an attention to detail here that isn't present in regular chain hotels. The staff was accommodating, fast, helpful, and kind. Everything about our stay was wonderful, except for one thing.... CONS: This hotel caters to dogs and dog owners. I have never seen so many pets in a hotel before. Yes, many hotels are "pet friendly" these days, but rarely do I see animals when I travel. Not so at the Bottleworks Hotel. There were dogs in the lobby, dogs in the elevator, dogs in the hallways, and dogs in the bar. Yes, I said dogs in the bar. Yes, you can sit in the bar and sip 12 year old scotch next to a 50 pound, shaggy, shedding crossbreed at the Bottleworks. One lab retriever looked to be 75 pounds and the owner could barely control it as it lunged at guests stepping off the elevator. I was awakened at 1am by a dog barking somewhere near our room. I am not exaggerating. So, if you are dog lover and like sharing your sleeping space with animals, this is the hotel for you. If you don't like dogs or have any kind of dog allergy, you'll probably want to stay elsewhere. We asked at the front desk and were told that they could not guarantee that any of their rooms had never boarded a dog at some point. And that's a dealbreaker. So while we loved this hotel, we will not return.

What a spectacular job was done transforming the Coca-Cola building into a beautiful hotel complex. The rooms are large & well appointed. It's new, clean, modern yet still gives guests a story of the buildings history. It's not inexpensive, $45.00 for valet car service plus the costs of the hotel rooms. But, the location, amenities & all that surrounds the Hotel, (movie theater, restaurants & stores in what is called the Garage), a beautiful food court. Then you have everything on Mass Ave to add to the surrounding area of the Hotel. Courteous & helpful Employees as well. Hopefully this Hotel & what has been built is successful as its definitely a beautiful Hotel & a destination location.

Wanted to do something special for an anniversary, so we picked Mass Ave to getaway and explore. Decided to check out the Bottleworks Hotel and it did not disappoint. From the time we stepped in and until we checked out, the staff was friendly and helpful. What they have done to an old factory is amazing. It is beautifully decorated and our room was awesome. In the world of “normal” hotels, our room was so different. Pictures don’t do it justice, but it was great. Would love to stay there again. BTW, the coffee shop was really good too.

OH. MY. GOODNESS. Where can I start? My husband brought me here on the night of our wedding and the moment we pulled up to the building, I was stunned. It was beautiful, clean, and so classy. The employees who were at the front desk were so accommodating and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. :) Our room was STUNNING. I kept thinking, "This is how I would decorate my own home." It's so romantic, beautifully done, and everything is top notch quality, even down to the fixtures in the bathrooms. We went to the coffee shop in the hotel the morning after and it was just everything. Overall, I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. It's forever a part of me and my husband's wedding story now and we'll be back for anniversaries, for sure. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a place to stay in Indianapolis.

By far the premier hotel choice in the Circle City!Phenomenal in every way. The absolute epitome of modern luxury. Beautiful historic renovation of the Coca Cola bottling plant and located in one of my favorite parts of the city - Mass Ave. Ground floor and lobby have a very historic and elegant feel. Dark wood and original tiling are contrasted with the dark and modern guest room floors with wide hallways, creative and functional lounge spaces and eye catching bright red doors. Modern, elegant and just downright sexy. Guest rooms were breathtaking. Every detail carefully thought out and crafted. If you have the ability to splurge for a room with a terrace - DO IT. You will not regret it. I stayed here for three nights and was so sad to leave. As far as comparison, this hotel would compete with properties like: Conrad, JW, Le Meridian, Iron Works or Hotel Carmichael. I’ve stayed in 3 of those and this would beat them by a long run any day of the week. Elegant & modern luxury without the stuffy, sterile, up-tight vibe. I couldn’t recommend it more…if you were on the fence, your decision just got easier! Do it!

Eclectic and gorgeous. Eye-catching splendor floor-to-ceiling. Four-star experience on a two-star budget. Must visit! The antique, romantic Coca-Cola bottling factory has been combined with a sleek modern hotel makeover. The professional staff ramp the experience up to the next level. The small business operating within and around the location bring a unique mix of spas, shopping, food, art, drink, and entertainment. For a weekend visit, there's no need to leave the city block to have all your pampering desires met very well. It's a must-see, local or tourist.

Everything is beautiful and the staff are amazing and friendly, so why the three star review? It's because there is a "signature scent" that is circulated by the climate control system. It's very strong and in my experience, capable of triggering serious reactions for people sensitive to some allergen in that scent. My partner and I couldn't make it through a night here, which was a real shame because the hotel really is beautifully decorated. As I said though, the staff, especially the valet service and Alex at the front desk couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating of our need to check out early. 10 stars to them.

Wonderful architecture with amazing rooms. The staff was exceptional. The hotel is in a great area with many restaurants, bars and places to see. The restoration of the building is jaw dropping. They did so much with the space that you would think you are back in time. Will definitely return.

This gem of a hotel is a must-stay when in Indianapolis! I stayed here last week on a very quick business trip and fell in love with it- the professional and personalized service, cleanliness, the size and the room decor all combined made for a perfect home-away-from home. I loved the way they turned this historic building into an amazing Art Deco space. The attention to detail from the red lacquer doors to the rock n roll artwork to the marble bathrooms…and gold pens all set the tone for a comfortable and chic hotel stay. The old school photo booth was so nostalgic and such an added bonus. I couldn’t wait to tell all my friends and family about it. I am already planning my next trip to Indy!

This is definitely the most interesting hotel I’ve stayed at and one of the nicest. The wide open hallways are striking and there is a lot of interesting art including photos of what I assume are the local construction workers that renovated this cool old building into this hotel and conference center. Unlike a lot of boutique hotels the rooms are large and all of the doors etc are new and work nicely, yet it still captures a feeling of a bygone era when the building was originally built. There are a number of amenities around and Mass ave is a prime location for foodies, night life, etc. The whole “bottle works district” surrounding the hotel is a home run of redevelopment.

Amazing stay! Top of the line in every way. They do both the big and little things exceptionally well and that makes a difference to guests. Every employee from the front desk, valet, in the hallway, housekeeping, room service, etc was friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had the best experience possible. I was greeted by every employee, even if it was just in passing. My feeling was that each interaction was genuine and sincere. I was surprised to find that I had received an upgrade to a Terrace King, which made my stay even better! I tried room service one morning, the food was absolutely delicious! I wandered the second floor a bit and loved seeing all the unique and cool ways they tied in the history of the building. It was obvious to me why this is rated as one of, if not the top hotel in Indy. The hotel is located very conveniently next to amazing restaurants and little shops on Mass Ave. All very walkable.

This place is amazing! Great attention to detail and very welcoming. Staff was extremely friendly. Room was very nice as well. Clean, and decorated perfectly. The food court across the street “Garage” was a great experience as well. Outdoor seating available at hotel.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our team meetings at the Bottleworks Hotel in Indianapolis, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the exceptional experience we had. The entire process, from initial coordination to flawless execution, was nothing short of impeccable. The Events Department, led by the talented Alison and Madison, truly went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our event was perfect. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to making our gathering a success were evident throughout the entire planning process. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming team at the front desk, Alex and Sarah. Their warm smiles and willingness to accommodate our needs made us feel right at home from the moment we walked through the doors of the hotel. Their excellent customer service set the tone for our entire stay. Angie and Astrid, from the catering team, deserve special recognition for her outstanding service. The food and beverages provided for our meetings were not only delicious but beautifully presented. The Bottleworks Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The stylish and comfortable accommodations, the convenient location, and, most importantly, the exceptional team members who made our stay memorable, all contributed to a truly outstanding experience. We cannot thank the Bottleworks Hotel team enough for their dedication to ensuring our team meetings were a resounding success. Their commitment to excellence and their genuine passion for hospitality are truly commendable. We look forward to returning to this remarkable establishment for future events and stays. Thank you for making our time at the Bottleworks Hotel an unforgettable one!

Spent a night here with my mom, it was wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The hotel room was sparkling clean and so comfortable. I also loved the little newspaper in the room that had the history of the building. Go to Bottleworks for a spectacular stay!

A beautiful blend of classic and modern. We chose a modern room, decorated in simple, elegant beauty. Rooms are also available that were designed to reveal the original architecture of this former bottling company. It's a very short walk to tons of restaurants and entertainment. The Garage is across the street, and houses a giant food court in other buildings that were part of the bottling plant. There are many ethnic food choices there, including one I particularly enjoyed featuring Venezuelan quinine.

We absolutely love this place. They do their best to meet your every need and then some. Wonderful location. We feel safe here. The mini bar is cheaper and more generous than the actual hotel bar though. Lol Beautiful spot. Our dog was welcome too. We had such a good time. I had to take home a bottle of the hotel's signature fragrance. The shower is bigger than my bedroom was growing up. Definitely an experience. Complimentary robes and umbrellas to use. Water fountain in the hall with sparkling water. Bold art and lots of upgrades.

Super fun wedding venue! Staff was all around very nice. We used valet parking and it cost $25 for the evening. Food and drink options were also great! For the wedding, we were in rooms upstairs but could come down and play pool or grab some drinks. One of the rooms was set up for the ceremony, one for drinks and standing tables, and another for a bar and dance floor. We were able to explore the hotel a bit and it was such a fun location and venue!

This hotel is INCREDIBLE. The ambience, the room, the service, the comfort- every element is just top notch and so thoughtfully done. We loved our room! We stayed for our anniversary, and they had champagne on ice and a nice dessert for us in our room upon arrival with a note. I’m also breastfeeding and forgot the power adapter for my breast pump, and after calling the front desk to ask if they had one on hand, they immediately sent their electrician to our room to look at what we needed, and he promptly got me the adapter I needed. And he was so kind, as were the front desk workers. We just loved this hotel, and will definitely be back! Also, the coffee shop within the hotel is so great, with awesome coffee and amazing service!

This place is awesome. Staff are tremendously helpful assisting guests with local retail and food options. Everyone at the front desk is positive and warm. The hotel is spacious but all rooms are in reasonable proximity to other hotel services. Parking is simple. The rooms are spacious with Bluetooth speakers and rain shower heads. The worker portraits in the hallways are a tasteful recognition and also a subtle way to remember and identify different areas of the hotel. Blue Collar cafe has a wide selection of cafe options on site.

There is a bit of an identity crisis with the design of the hotel. The charming lobby with original surfaces juxtaposed with a Virgin Voyages/ Lenny Kravitz vibe once past the foyer. I would have liked to see the ceilings in a bottle glass green color rather than black and more deco designed carpeting instead of the Flor carpet squares. Pros: Spacious quiet rooms. Lovely custom furniture, pretty bathrooms. Fun neighborhood with the fabulous Bodhi and Livery restaurant nearby. Great logo. Cons: No complimentary water bottles with said logo, interior courtyard view in some rooms with no greenery, just concrete. Echoey bar with no sound abatement sent us elsewhere for a drink. Unengaged staff. No breakfast bar.

The is the best hotel I’ve stayed in, in recent memory. Tucked away bar, cute coffee shop, awesome Artdeco ambiance, and the most friendly staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Such a cool experience through and through and the hotel smells amazing! It is walking distance from just about anything you’d want/need to do. We will be back anytime we need to stay in Indianapolis.

This hotel is fantastic! If you’re a fan of design & art this is a great place for you, if you like culture and convenience, they offer that as well. Former Coke a Cola warehouse and bottling district offers plenty to do aside from your stay. The bed was very comfortable and rooms were of a great size. I won’t be staying anywhere else when I visit Indy. Enjoy.

Have stayed at the Bottleworks hotel twice in the past year. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed. Decor is chic and cool. Rooms are spacious and furnishings are high quality. Staff throughout is WONDERFUL. You can’t get a better bar than Sundry & Vice anywhere. Great restaurants nearby include the Garage just across the street. This is an absolute must stay place for everyone.

We LOVE this hotel and the whole Bottleworks District! We've stayed twice in a timeless king room in the original part of the building, and the character is unmatched! We had a fun view of the Living Room theater both stays! Parking is easy in one of the two nearby lots (only $15 to park overnight!) . The rooms are spotless. So cozy and upscale, while not feeling stuffy and too perfect to relax! We've been twice and will definitely be back!

Delightful boutique hotel in Indianapolis. It's in a former Coca-Cola bottling plant, but it has been well-crafted into something more modern, yet keeping with the aesthetic of the early 1900s building. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and without much to complain about! My only note, for those comparing their website to reality, is the Art Deco theme ends once you get past the entryway and the stairwells. There is a transition to a modern feel, clean lines and black and red accents, with large spacious hallways filled with Peter Lindbergh portraits of working class folk. A nice stay, but I will admit I was hoping for an entirely Art Deco feel through the place. Of note, there are water tape periodically through the halls, offering up both still and sparkling water! Also, the parking garage is $45, but the outside lot on the back of the Dining Hall is only $15 for overnight.

We went to the Bottleworks hotel for my husband's birthday and had a WONDERFUL time. So many food and entertainment options in close walking distance, as in RIGHT there. The room was GORGEOUS. Even the parking garage was nice, heated and easy to navigate. What a fantastic concept they have created. A sophisticated feel with a fun and easy-going twist. We will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone we know!

I travelled to Indy for a special wedding. I have travelled a lot and lived all over the world and always take care to select quality hotels. This hotel and the surrounding Bottleworks complex are so unique and so stylish - I loved the history and the beautiful renovation of such an iconic space. Even though the website does a good job at showing off the features of this hotel I can honestly say the rooms exceeded every expectation as did the staff and amenities I will be back!!!

So my stay is not for another month but I wanted to leave a quick review. I called customer service to ask a question, which was answered quickly. More importantly, the person I spoke with (Anastasia, I believe) was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. When I mentioned it was a surprise birthday trip she immediately said she would do something special for our room to make the experience even better. That might be common at Bottleworks/most hotels, I'm not sure but I really appreciated her help and I have no doubt we will have an amazing stay in part due to the great customer service!

I went to visit a friend who came into town. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and so is the artwork. But once you finally get to the elevators and on to your floor, the highest the elevator went was 3. My friends room was on the 3rd floor. Once I stepped out and tried to figure out which was I was going it was a very, very, very long hallway. If I'm being honest it reminded me of the movie The Shining for some reason. Black, grey, and red are their colors I guess because the room was colored the same. But as your walking down the hallway they had black & white pictures of people from the coca cola factory. Which I thought was very cool, seeing that it was the old coca cola factory they remolded into a hotel. The room it wasn't anything extravagant, normal hotel room but the pictures on the walls were completely different, one was of a woman's lips with red lipstick holding a bullet in between her teeth. Then another one was of a women with red lipstick blowing out smoke. They were small pictures but in some way it was sexy but odd. I don't think it's what I thought it was going to be. I think you should get more for the amount of money you spend for a night.

Wonderful hotel. Very unique, cool, retro and modern. Loved the building, the art was eclectic and cool. My room was comfortable and big. I have only two small complaints. One, the bed was a little hard for me, and, two, the pillows were either too soft or too hard. But, I understand that's a personal preference and you can't please everyone. So don't let this deter you from staying there.
