Pleasantly surprised with this spot! Great views from the patio, misters to keep things cool outside, and a diverse menu. Came after polo/festival season so it was a little slow but I think that made it that much more enjoyable. Careful where Google maps takes you though, the main entrance is off Monroe

Insanely good food, a decent sized menu but with super eclectic options, with MASSIVE servings and WONDERFUL service. Sitting on the polar field at night with the heat lamps with so much fun. A great place to bring kids.

We love the cantina. Take your kids, take your dogs! There's lots of space for them to run around. But beside that, the views are spectacular. The food and drinks are delicious. Sometimes there is a dj or live music. The staff is wonderful. You can't go wrong here.

I was hesitant about The Cantina because of the title itself, didn't know what to expect. Turns out it's not really a Cantina, but a nice secluded oasis in La Quinta. The service was rapid and friendly, the food was delicious and done fast, not as fast food though. My family and I had a great, quiet, light dinner, and had a very relaxing time. I will definitely stop by next time I'm in town.

Went with a local chef, they highly recommended the food. Had the Kobe beef taco and sat on the patio. Enjoyed a great meal and a beautiful view of the sunset. Everything was fantastic! Loved the dogs playing in the field and the corn hole game if you’d like to take a break from eating! Only recommendation at all,, the tall tables outside have pretty narrow chairs.. heard a few people mention that it was difficult to sit comfortably. If you prefer a wider seat maybe aim for the lower tables.

We came in late and the kitchen was closed. The hostess who greeted us asked the kitchen to open and make us some food. We are so glad they did. Everything we tried was outstanding! The elote, brussels sprouts, beets, nachos, and the Mediterranean plate were all so tasty. The flavors were perfect and imaginative. It was such a pleasant surprise. The service was incredible! Our waitress Allison made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back. Thanks from 4 foodies.

The view of the polo grounds with the palm trees and mountains in the background was perfect. It was cool to have dinner where Coachella and Stagecoach will return in a few months. The margaritas we had were amazing. So were the bartenders. Those guys were awesome. It was like dinner and a show. The Korean BBQ nachos we're one of the best things I've eaten in quite some time. I would travel back to Coachella Valley just for those nachos. And the fish taco was really good but I was so full from the nachos that I couldn't fully enjoy it. Incredible meal with incredible view.

Great food and really nice/friendly staff. We were able to play a wicked game of Cornhole while we waited for our food. The guacamole bacon cheese burger was excellent and check out the Mediterranean plate.

Great food and drinks! We enjoyed a nice lunch on the patio facing the polo grounds. Food was delicious and the drinks were on point. I recommend the tacos and lobster salad.

So so good! Me and my boyfriend have made it a tradition to come here for our anniversary. Food and service is always a 10/10. The sunset on the polo grounds was phenomenal. The margaritas here just hit different compared to anywhere else in the valley. Overall, thank you guys for making our day special. S/o to Giselle for being such a great server to us!!! 🀍

I posted a couple days ago about the Cantina and we went back again. We had the same fabulous bartender, David. I hade the Elote (yum), and my hubby had the Mexican chopped salad (which I had two days ago and we had 3 meals from it). Seriously, this place is good. It just need more signage! It’s one driveway down from the Tack Room (which is great too). Just go!!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great little place for lunch or breakfast…. Has a great atmosphere and some very funny wall signs. This place also has a drive through for those that can’t dine in. The staff are friendly and the servings are very large too. I had the breakfast quesadilla which was huge and very tasty. Highly recom...
