Posting
for
Banqueting
experience.
I
got
married
in
the
month
of
December
and
it
was
a
two
day
affair
with
Sangeet
in
evening
followed
by
wedding
next
morning.
Food:
The
quality
of
the
food
is
excellent.
Very
rarely,
you
get
good
quality
food
in
banqueting
because
they
tend
to
cover
both
food
and
banqueting
costs
and
hence,
quality
gets
compromised.
My
experience
was
very
good
in
this
sense.
Although
I
felt
it
was
a
little
bit
overpriced
but
considering
limited
number
of
members
and
the
satisfactory
experience,
I
am
fairly
satisfied.
Banqueting:
The
kind
of
lavish
banquet
they
have,
it
gives
a
feel
of
some
4-5
star
hotel.
The
biggest
advantage
is
the
space
of
the
banquet
which
allowed
us
to
conduct
our
events
with
proper
social
distancing.
No
electricity
or
AC
problem
was
faced
by
us.
It
was
well
maintained
and
once
again,
fairly
satisfied.
Coming
to
some
negative
experiences
now-
1.
The
hotel
manager
is
either
not
experienced
enough
to
conduct
events
like
wedding
there
or
we
specifically
had
a
okayish
experience
working
with
him.
During
our
initial
meetings,
he
accommodated
our
requirements
but
once
we
paid
some
advance,
it
was
hard
to
get
his
mind.
The
response
was
not
up
to
the
mark
and
we
had
to
brief
him
again
and
again
to
ensure
that
the
wedding
goes
right.
We
visited
the
hotel
4-5
days
before
the
wedding
to
ensure
everything
goes
right
but
when
we
reached
on
the
day
of
the
event,
the
arrangements
were
not
as
we
had
discussed.
How
can
a
manager
not
look
up
to
this
seriously
and
make
adequate
arrangements.
After
getting
ready
for
the
sangeet,
I
had
to
go
and
talk
to
the
manager
for
the
changes
as
discussed.
2.
We
were
charged
close
to
40000
for
the
decoration
for
both
days
and
the
decor
was
very
shabby
and
wierd.
The
manager
sent
us
couple
of
pictures
of
stage
and
mandap
decor
but
the
real
ones
were
way
too
bad
for
a
wedding.
He
promised
us
to
give
contact
of
his
decor
vendor
but
we
couldn't
get
the
same
till
a
day
before
the
wedding.
Once
we
saw
the
decor
in
pictures
for
previous
events
held
in
the
hotel,
we
were
heavily
disappointed.
Now
comes
the
real
cheating
part.
The
decor
guy
charged
us
another
25000
collectively
for
two
days
to
make
certain
modifications
in
the
decor.
Still,
after
paying
this
much,
the
mandap
was
not
up
to
the
mark.
This
guy
refused
to
switch
on
the
lights
if
we
didn't
pay
him
the
amount
then
and
there.
In
hindsight,
I
feel
like
both
the
hotel
management
and
decor
guy
connived
and
cheated
us
in
the
decor
part
to
extract
more
money
out
of
us.
That
was
the
most
disappointing
part
of
the
whole
experience.
3.
I
had
paid
almost
70-80
percent
of
the
whole
billing
before
the
event
began
and
some
10-20
percent
was
remaining
to
be
paid.
This
extremely
unprofessional
and
arrogant
receptionist
denied
us
the
keys
of
the
room
and
while
I
was
getting
ready
for
my
big
day,
I
was
forced
to
pay
the
remaining
amount
to
get
the
keys
of
the
room
in
the
morning.
The
role
of
the
hotel
manager
in
this
experience
was
very
dull
and
didn't
took
adequate
responsibility
for
the
inconvenience
caused
to
us.
Overall
review-
When
it
comes
to
banqueting,
this
place
still
fares
better
than
other
places
in
terms
of
the
space
and
food.
But,
coming
to
the
service,
I
am
very
disappointed
and
expect
a
bit
more
responsible
behavior
from
Hotel
management
in
this
part
to
ensure
proper
services.
If
you
are
going
for
a
wedding,
make
sure
that
you
get
the
decor
right
and
everything
is
clear
well
in
advance
to
avoid
the
experience
we
had.
Lastly,
services
can
be
here
and
there
and
happens
to
every
hotel
or
service
based
setup.
But,
I
think
the
people
dealing
the
whole
thing
should
be
more
humble,
more
responsible
and
more
and
more
responsive.
Cheers!!!
