We have spent all day here. Much fun for kids (6 and 8) and adults too. We enjoyed most the team play games in the first floor. Also for kids for lunch buy the lunch box in the buffe, the kids will be happy and with full stomach.

Awesome! Excellent! Fun! Learning! Family! Really... I could go on :-) This place is unique and full (i mean FULL) of experiences that are so cool! The whole family will get something positive from this trip! Price is absolutely fair! This is a MUST if you're in Copenhagen! RECOMMENDED

Super cool place for a day with the family! We went with 4y, 3y and 1.5y old and had so much fun exploring lots of stuff. Bring your own picnic and enjoy it in one of the three picnic areas. Our favourite spot was the construction site on the first floor.

Amazing venue for both kids and adults. We spent there 5 hours and could stay even longer! A lot of visual, kinesthetic and educational attractions which are also super fun. Negatives: The food in the cafeteria is not the best and quite pricey, I’d recommend to bring lunch with you.

Had a great time and spent the entire day here. Great exibits, lots of fun for different ages. Some stations were broken but not so many that it was disturbing. A bit expensive, but still worth it, will be coming back when my daughter is a bit older. Highly recommended.

Fun for the whole family! Very interesting scientific experiments, complemented by a wide range of facts and figures. At the restaurant you can find only sandwiches, salads and fish and chips.

Totally worth it. Very diverse in terms of topics, and quite unique in terms of how they showcase them. If going with young kids, start from the top and work your way down through the different exhibits. They will be tired by the time they are in the ground floor, but the playground (miniverse or something like that) will give them a new life and get them going for st lesst one more hour. Definitely a must go to place in Copenhagen with kids. Only downside is when it gets really packed it can get a bit suffocating, as if the ventilation was not at max.

Awesome place for kids! Too much fun and so many hands on. This was our last stop in Copenhagen. If I had known how fun this place was, I’d plan at least one full day here At least

Our 3 year old loved it! It's a great way to spend the day, have fun and learn. They provide free lockers. I would recommend bringing your own food.

Absolutely brilliant hands on kids experience. Easily spend half a day interacting with all the experimental items. Take the 1a bus from Copenhagen and get off at Tuborg 5 minute walk. Definitely worth doing if you have children. Cafe on site also for lunch although you can take a packed lunch. Lockers on site to leave all your stuff. 10 out of 10.

A great place to visit, especially on a rainy day. The kids spent the entire day here and still we didn't cover it all. We are in Copenhagen for just one week, but probably will spend one more day in the experimentarium.

Wow, what a great place to bring your kids and yourself to. So much to see, touch, experiment and learn. Great design and layout of the building. I like the Body World section the most. Highly recommended.

Great place for both children and adults. Included in Copenhagen Pass so definitely recommend tourists with the pass to come. They have different section across science topics such as biological science, logistics, physical sciences. Providing a lot of interactive facilities and activities, it helps young adults and children to understand the theory behind each situation and phenomenon while they can enjoy in those activities. The curved staircase in the middle of the building is also a great place for taking pictures.

Good with a lot of things to do. You can easily spend a whole day.

  • 2/5 Zsófia T. 1 year ago on Google
So many things were closed or broken. It was really crowded and the games and experiments were very basic. Quite underwhelming after reading all the great reviews.

  • 5/5 Pedro M. 1 year ago on Google
Superb place to take kids. The food in the canteen is OK and staff is super friendly and helpful. You can easily expend the whole day exploring with your kids.

  • 5/5 James S. 1 year ago on Google
A superb science museum/experience for children and adults of all ages. We visited with a 3 y/o and a 9 month old and spent most of the day here exploring all of the interactive activities across 3/4 floors of the building. The breadth and quality of content is brilliant. I would absolutely visit here again.

What an incredible heaven for kids... And it even gets better. When everything else is closed down in the city, Experimentarium is still open. This alone is a good enough reason to have a yearly card.

Last week we went to #copenhagen for a family city break. And my goodness Europe does children's museums way better than we, in the UK. The @experimentarium is an amazing interactive, hands-on, science-based kids' museum spread out over 4 floors. It had everything from bubbles to how Pixar studios create animations. On the ground floor, there was an under-5s play area exploring light, wind, and sound. Which was much calmer and my 4-year-old found the rest of the museum a little overwhelming. My son loved the other floors, especially the bubble area, and learning about how the body works. Be warned it was crazy busy during the Easter break,  my husband and I tagged teamed between each child following them around. We didn't even get a chance to explore the roof garden. This was one of our favorite days and a must if you visit Copenhagen with the children. A quick note on getting there, get a taxi it's about 20 minutes from the center of town and also two buses if you use public transport.

The experimentarium is very large and really fantastic. We've been to lots of children's museums and this one is unique because you can form a family team and complete challenges together. It got us all participating and playing and it was really fun.

An excellent place. Large space across 3 floors with lots of different science contraptions to play with. Applicable to all ages, while mainly focused on kids, adults won’t be bored. Visited as part of the Copenhagen card, staff were friendly and helpful

Free 2hr parking across the street, cafeteria with some snacks and coffee, locker rooms, can walk with stroller in most of the areas

  • 5/5 Louise F. 5 months ago on Google
Our two year old had an incredible time here. The Miniverse was fantastic for kids up to age 5 to engage with unaided but there were many other areas that he enjoyed with our help. Absolutely fantastic for kids and their grown ups!

  • 5/5 Rachel F. 3 months ago on Google • 4 reviews New
Expensive enough and involved a bus ride out of the city centre but was well worth it. We brought our three year old and he absolutely loved it. There is so much to keep young children occupied and interested. We stayed for around 4 hours. Highly recommend this activity for children in bad weather.

The place is great for both kids and adults. There are a lot of various entertainments. You can learn about the human structure, about physical laws, about the water and sea, about ecology. The kids lovet his place. You can come every week and enjoy this wonderful place.

great learning experience went with a 18, 13, 9 and 5 year old and they all had fun and found interesting.. there was so much to do and you can easily spend a whole day doing different activities.. it is an indoor area so absolutely no worries of bad weather outside . Came by car and parked at Qpark which serves first 2 hrs free coming from Netherlands where the parking is extremely expensive so it was a bonus :) only I had a problem with toilets as they were extremely dirty ..the rest it is a great place to visit especially with kids :)

  • 4/5 Martin L. 2 years ago on Google
Very scientific place for family with kids. If you have kids you definitely should take them there for both having fun and learning. However, the place is a bit far away from the city. Also, you can easily get lost in side the Experimentarium.

  • 4/5 Mascha B. 2 years ago on Google
Great museum to visit with kids (>4-12 years). We had a great time! Unfortunately the food at the restaurant wasn't that great. Kids didn't like their black hotdogs at all. And the vegetarian salad was bland at best. I would recommend taking your own food to use at the picknick place.

  • 4/5 Nathan B. 2 years ago on Google
The kids are their target. However, if you are open minded as an adult you can have a lot of fun. Have been there with my family all above 20 and was great. It is a bit pricey.

  • 1/5 Bence A. T. 1 year ago on Google
This place is simply underwhelming. I expected to learn a thing or two, but most things you can easily replicate at home. It's basically like a big playground, but even if you compare it with other indoor playgrounds in Copenhagen, it's mediocre at best.

  • 5/5 Alexis H. 2 years ago on Google
Great place to visit with kids. Numerous activities designed for all ages. Schedule at least five hours to enjoy all exhibitions and activities.

  • 5/5 Jim C. 1 year ago on Google
Great fun for our 8 year old. Lots of hands on play and experiments. Strong environmental message with many exhibits tied too that theme. Also, Olympics games, water safety, and global logistics (yes, they made that last one fun). Great place, plan to spend at least two hours, maybe three.

  • 5/5 Tanya C. 1 year ago on Google
Fantastic place for young and old. Easy to get to and you can spend hours there. Highly recommend when visiting Copenhagen

  • 5/5 Inga L. 2 years ago on Google
It was amazing. Go early, you will want to stay there all day long.

  • 5/5 Cecilia 1 year ago on Google
AMAZING! You can go with high expectations and you won't feel disappointed. All the family enjoyed! We could go back again and again... I recommend to spend at least 4 hours. Is huge!

  • 5/5 Sarah S. 1 year ago on Google
Very busy (rainy weekend) and pretty expensive, but worth it. Our 18 month old and 5 year old both had an amazing time. The toys and games are both creative and educational.

  • 5/5 Tansy M. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing place for kids and adults. We took our 19month old wondering if there would be much for him to enjoy but it was fab for him and us two parents! Would recommend to everyone, young and old!

  • 3/5 Abhinav Sen G. 1 year ago on Google
A little underwhelming but a nice visit nevertheless. We went with our 12 yr old daughter, stuff was little more appropriate for younger kids. We spent about 3 hours and touched the entire place...if you are a tourist to Copenhagen and short on time, probably can skip. As a resident, it's a reasonable place to visit...
