A really great place for your stay. We loved the staff, especially Rafael, who was always smiling! The rooms were clean, neat and cosy. Internet was not the best, there is room for improvement (this is only for those who are working during their stay). Loved the funky vibes of this place overall.

I absolutely loved my stay at Mozambeat Motel in Tofo. The value of this motel is great. As a remote worker, their reliable Wi-Fi was a game-changer, ensuring I stayed connected while enjoying the wonderful common areas while being able to work . The indoor-outdoor styled unique rooms were so cool and unique. The proximity to the beach meant morning walks were just steps away. If you want to participate in any excursions, they offer tons from diving to whale sharks. The vibes are great and the people are wonderful. Staff is seriously so friendly and will help you with anything you need. I highly recommend staying here for remote workers, travelers, friend groups, anyone! I would say it’s one of the best in Tofo.

Absolutely fantastic hotel with budget options good for backpackers but also really chic huts great for couples or travel buddies. Loved the outdoor showers in the rooms, the almost daily activities and especially the dance and pool parties. Ohh, those parties. Highly recommend this even though it's a bit of a hike to the beach.

Wonderful place! The pool, the bungalows, the amount of 'chilling' you can get here. It is difficult to imagine better. One of the best places to stay at in Tofo. The rooms were a bit expensive and camping was still more expensive than getting our own room nextdoor. If you spend enough money on food and drinks you are allowed to chill there and use the facilities the entire day. Great thing. I would have loved staying here the entire time. The food was alright the first time but the other times they didn't have what we ordered, and what we did order was very dissapointing. Especially the caesar salad, no cheese, no dressing. Wasn't cheap as well. I still did enjoy the place a lot and since their spend a little and you are welcome policy is great I would say this one of the top places in Tofo.

Mozambeats is more than a place to stay but an experience in itself :) Loved the place and the rooms but, for me, the best part was the personnel who were welcoming, helpful and friendly (they really made my stay there better). Comunication was easy and fast, before and during my stay. As for location, yes the motel is outside of Tofo's town, about 15 min walk but it should not detter you from staying there! I'm a female solo traveler and I would comeback alone at night and I felt very safe :) Enjoy your time in Tofo and please take the time to meet Mozambicans they are wonderful people 😊

Amazing place, staff is so friendly and the food is very tasty and reasonably priced. The pool is perfect and the rooms are tidy and very comfortable, showers are hot. It’s the best place we stayed in Mozambique!

Beautiful place. If you want a place to get away from everything Mozambeat is the perfect place. There's also 2 beautiful beaches close by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Only issue was the wonky WiFi otherwise great place.

The dorm was ok and safe, nice shower + we had 2 fans The hostel in itself looks great with a big swimming pool. Love the bar in the pool, with nice barman In general the people working in the hostel were super nice, the service was a bit slow though

A GREAT time! The hotel is so cool, with a balance of chill and party vibes. The staff are infectiously optimistic and the food was delicious. Excited to stay there again!

For sure one of the nicest places I’ve been to during my long term travel through Southern Africa, it’s definitely worth the walk to Tofo beach! All the people working there are exactly what you want during your stay, big love to them!

Overall our stay was lovely. Would suggest finding out when the festival happens over the new years period as you will need earplugs in order to get some sleep as the music is incredibly loud. Overall the staff is really good and management is great. However, morning breakfast that is included is always incredibly slow and if you have stuff planned for your mornings we would suggest skipping it as it can take ages to arrive, even if you’ve given them notice the night before for the ‘day before breakfasts’. Overall, awesome place with great vibes, people, and rotating backpackers and staff that make the stay very much worthwhile.

Very far from beach and very loud. Low quality noisy parties going until late that makes it impossible to rest

Cool place with a unique "music" vibe. Pool area and bar house are very cool. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the beach but very reasonably priced for Tofo. Staff is super kind (it's Mozambique!) and will sort out any trips you're interested in.

Great place with great facilities. We had a blast even though we had some rainy days! A tiny thing that could have been nice was more trash cans. I didn’t see any, and we had some difficulties getting rid of out trash. But besides that, lovely place and great facilities😇.

Stayed there for 3 weeks. Absolutely loved it! The dorms are pretty comfy, and the place has all you need. I really enjoyed the food, and the hospitality by Carlos and the team were top notch! Hope to come back some day!

Greta place. We went there to spend a day by the pool, was super quiet. Nice vibe, good music and good and very friendly staff. The decorations are relaxing and colorful and the pool spacious. If you want a place for a swim in inhambane this is it

The owners and staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. It's a bit outside of the town of Tofo so you'll have to walk to get to the ocean. Or staff will help you arrange a taxi. Unless your room is close to the bar, you'll need data on your phone to access the internet. Most of what you'll need is right there. Loved that they incorporated so many aspects of nature into the design of the motel. They refill your drinking water daily, but i found that my stomach didn't go well with it so I bought bottled water. They have a pool and resturant on site that had different specials from time to time. There were very few things that i could say i didn't like about this place. They had daily breakfast which a lot of places don't include. It's also a very healthy and filling meal. They have weekly events like movie nights and some djs on weekends. I like that Sisi and her husband has cultivated a family atmosphere with her team. If you need any outside service and it's something her team can provide, they are able to supplement their income. For example Carlos offers tours and another offers taxi service. Please go, you won't regret it.

Mozambeat is really lucky to have Carlos! Such a nice guy. Mozambeat hotel is a perfect place to stay, full of vibe and the rooms are amazing, clean and full of details ☺️✨ The shower is an amazing experience. You take your bath with the moon and stars! We love the experience. Everyone is kind. The breakfast is rich!
