Nice atmosphere and good food. Excellent service!

We booked a table we never even got.(We were 16 people btw) We got there and we suddenly heard that the kitchen was closed and there was a closed menu, we were only allowed to eat pork and potatoes, with a choice of calamari heads or a prawn cocktail (we don’t even like pork) So we decided to order just the starters, as their prices where already set wayyy to high, guess what? At the end of the night we had to pay 1000MT per person for food we didn’t even eat!( Notice how the starters where only 500MT each) so at the end of the night we had to pay 16000MT and literally no one there ate the pork. I’m very disappointed and I really hope these people will feel bad for the money they force out of their tourists. So thank you for wasting my money and my time. Did i mention the service was SO bad, because we barely got any! I hope you’ll realise what you did wrong and not cheat people so horribly in the new year. They also said the menu was closed but when we walked into the bar the other people could order from the menu. Sommer puts a frown on my face.

The service was terrible and I had to buy a ticket to buy at the bar and couldn't even use all of the money.They are very expensive and it isn't worth the hype.They music was a bit disappointing as well.

Reviewing our restaurant experience only, as we were out there on the beach for the day. Lovely beach to take a swim by the way. The drinks menu is fantastic, the drunken jelly fish is a good start. We found that this is one of the more expensive restaurants in the area due to the conversion rate they used during the December period. On average 20c more expensive to the ZAR exchange rate than the average around. The bathroom facilities at the restaurant do require some more attention during peak season as the smell is somewhat unpleasant. We did not eat food (ice-cream and milkshakes for the kids and R&R's with shooters for the adults) at Neptune's as the pizza oven was in full view of our table and somewhat off putting with a staff member weighing chicken pieces with her scale on the floor... just saying. NOT GOOD. A nice experience with live music, can get very busy.

The most amazing experience I could ever ask for. The most beautiful space, food was amazing, the accommodation was top notch, and the management and service always having smiles and the most amazing energy to them. A big thank you to Heather, Mike, and the Neptune's team. Definitely will be back!

Great atmosphere, great food, right on the beach. There is a menu that caters for kids and adults and it is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Watch out for their live music sessions, they are great.

An interesting place. Inhambane has taken a very evident massive hit since Covid 19 started, we decided to do a day trip there and so many buildings have been abandoned and are now just rubble. However there are few hot spots around and this is one - The food was delicious( despite the portions not being much) , the service was great and the beach itself is generally clean despite the litter washed in on the tide. A special part of the country that seems to have been forgotten about because of Covid.. We will definitely be back.

Nice place to stay. Located by the sea with a bar on the beach. The swimming pool and friendly staff contribute to an awesome experience.
