Not
a
good
experience.
I
booked
into
room
3
approx
2:30pm
and
noticed
a
sewage
type
smell.
Sat
on
bed
for
about
1
hr
watching
TV
before
leaving
for
work.
Returned
a
few
hours
later
and
despite
putting
air-conditioning
on
and
opening
windows
the
smell
was
still
there.
Asked
the
manager
if
I
could
be
placed
in
another
room,
he
said
he
was
full.
Asked
for
a
refund
as
I
couldn't
bear
the
smell,
manager
refused.
After
back
and
forth
manager
ended
up
charging
me
$20
for
a
room
that
shouldn't
have
been
sold
with
that
smell
in
the
first
place.
Edit,
google
doesn't
allow
a
reply
to
your
response
but
what
you
say
in
your
reply
is
not
true.
I
spent
about
1hr
in
the
room,
left
for
a
job
about
3:20
and
came
back
after
and
smell
was
still
there
despite
airing
it
out.
I
asked
for
another
room,
you
declined
as
you
were
booked
out,
fair
enough.
I
asked
for
a
refund
so
I
could
go
elsewhere
but
you
refused
as
you
said
you
could
not
sell
the
room
because
I
sat
on
the
bed
for
1hr.
Only
after
arguing
the
point
you
agreed
to
charge
$20
for
the
room.
Btw
I
ended
up
driving
1.5
hrs
home,
getting
5hrs
sleep
and
then
driving
back
to
Inverell
the
next
day
to
be
onsite
at
7am
to
continue
the
job.
Clutching
at
straws
saying
the
smell
was
an
excuse
for
a
refund.
Not
a
good
experience.
