Holy moly that was an awesome sandwich 🥪 I got The Stroke, which is a pastrami/corned beef combo with swiss and mustard on Rye, and there was no shortage of meat. It was so tender and delicious 😋 I only finished half of it and had the rest later for an early dinner. Also came with a giant pickle spear. The potato 🥔 salad could use a little work. Not too fond of the yellow bell pepper 🤔 I did like the green onion and bacon in it. Overall, great sandwich. Look forward to trying them all 😛

This is a "Must Stop Here" spot when we pass through Bishop. The Double Meats BLT is so good. One of the best BLTs I've had. Good clam chowder too. The sandwich comes with a pickle and a small side of really good potato salad. The staff is are friendly. They are famous for there Jerky. If you are looking for the restrooms they are out in the back corner of the parking lot. Great place to stop for lunch or a break.

Amazing jerky selection and assorted smoked meats. The thick-cut double smoked bacon is to die for! Staff are always super friendly and helpful, and the fresh made sandwiches from the counter are a must try! This is a must-stop location every time I travel through Bishop.

We had sandwiches, ohh mm gee they were good! The staff were great! The Rodeo and the Cali Cuban were really good! Grabbed some jerky, too.. Holy cow, it was GOOD! Buy some when you're in Bishop, we bought a lot.

This was the best sandwich I've ever had. We stopped on the wat to mammoth and also on the way back. Had the stroke and the had the handyman. They were both absolutely amazing. This will be a stop for us evert thime we go through bishop.

Great pit stop in Bishop! Reminds me when I was a kid and our family would take camping trips in the area. Great selection of jerkies. Beef buffalo elk turkey jerkies all different spice levels. There's also a deli that makes lunch sandwiches and they have a good selection of hot sauces. If you're driving through Bishop on the 395 it's definitely worth a stop to pick up some delicious jerky!

I’ve driven by for years and never stopped til now. So glad I did. The sandwiches are delicious and the selection of jerky is great but on the pricey side. However it’s to be expected and the quality is up there.

The Best Jerky I have ever eaten. I tried the Teriyaki Beef Jerky it was delicious. So many varieties to pick from great place to get some Jerky.

Had to get some pastrami and Canadian bacon from the meat side. All of the various jerky flavors was very tempting. Turkeys smoking in the window is a trip. The deli was basic efficient and most importantly, delicious. Got a hot pastrami sandwich to go. Really generous amount of delicious meat. The potato salad was bland by my taste and had corn in it, which is different.

Annual stop for beef jerky and goodies. Grab a sandwich before heading up the mountain.

4/11/23: Got the beef and buffalo jerkies in sweet and spicy and chipotle, all very good. Also got the Rodeo sandwich which had excellent roast beef inside.

Decided to stop here on the way home and was pleasantly surprised. Although the store isn't huge it provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent and was shocked at the plainness of the potato salad which was overwhelmingly filled with flavor. They had a plethora of smoked jerkies (Buffalo being my favorite) as well as other high quality meats. I will be making this a routine stop when trekking along the 395.

Love this place. I order online or make the drive just to get their Indian Style Jerky and Peppered Jerky. If the trip allows I also love their smoked fresh meats too. Smoked bacon, turkey, and tavern ham have all been welcomed heartily when picked up on the way to the mountains. The store itself has a lot of choices you won't find on the website. If there were any negatives against Mahogany Smoked Meats it's they can't keep their Indian Jerky in stock online.

The smell when you walk in is out of this world! Best jerky hands down ever. They have been doing it right for 100 years. If you are a fan of delicious meats plan a trip to this wonderful and amazing place

Amazing Smoked Meats like sausage and Jerry. The deli is out of this word. Cuban and Rodeo pictured. This is a very unique, fantastic, and memorable food and throwback to older days. Service is spectacular too! A must go and absolutely coming back.

Wonderful service and exceptionally great sandwiches. The Jerky was to die for. Purchase with caution though as we are seeing high inflation prices so the meats are definitely on the higher end unfortunately but every bite was so good. Highly recommend you stop by when arriving to Bishop or even passing through, you won't regret it!

The sandwiches are amazing, specially the pulled pork. It is so delicious !! And fast service :), the rodeo sandwich is good but the meat is cold, so I didn't really enjoy it!

The best beef jerky ever! I've gone here for over 40 years! I now live locally and go often for sandwiches! My favorite is the Cuban and their pepper turkey is so yummy! Great place for gifts for family and friends!

Buddy from work (Chuck..thnx btw) recommended this place. Bought pastrami to bring back to LA County, 3 different types of jerky all hot all were phenomenal. I thought I am here let me just eat here. OMG I've had great Turkey BLTs but this one put the others to shame their own meats bacon, turkey would die happy if it was my last meal. Regret not buying bacon n turkey but gives me a reason to come back. Thanx again.

Outstanding sandwiches! " The Stroke" is my personal favorite. The wife loves "The Capone". We drive from the Reno area from time to time specifically to have lunch here. Of course we have to get a few pounds of bacon and assorted jerky as well. Don't go through Bishop without stopping here!

The best beef jerky in the universe. Also amazing sandwiches..... This is a must stop place. Luckily they do mail order and opened two other locations so you can always get the best beef jerky whenever.
