Been to the Racehorse a few times now and am always impressed. Staff are friendly, there's great variety on the menu, and meals and drinks are all very well-priced. I also love being able to sit in the dining room and see all the action going on in the kitchen.

Great Staff, Lovely meals, Top Coffee and A Nice Venue for A Table for One, Two, Four,Six or More. Wonderful, Pleasant Staff and the meals were great. Two of Us had Beautiful, tasty Calamari with Nice Salad, Perfect Chips and Aioli. Four had 250g Steak Cooked Perfectly and Served with choice of sauce with Healthy Vegetables and Mashed Potatoes.

I came here on the weekend. Had such an amazing night. Huge shout out to Liam for putting together the NAIDOC after party that so many of us thoroughly enjoyed. Also thank you to the serving staff for their friendliness and patience.

I saw The Angels there this week. It was a great venue with cheap drinks as well. There was heaps of parking, the toilets were clean and the staff were friendly. The stage is a good setup where you can get a decent view up close, too.

Came for lunch on our way into Ipswich. Fast service, food was delicious drinks icy cold!

Had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the atmosphere, recommend having a meal here , great value and great service

Made a quick stop in here for a schooner and a Sports bar parmigiana for lunch. Table service was great, food was yummy. Huge area for smokers, plenty of space inside, looks like a good place to go to watch sporting events.

Another amazing lunch at the Racehorse Hotel. The friendly staff always make us feel so welcome especially Georgina! The new menu is worth checking out. The dry aged rib eye will not disappoint and the roast vegetable feta salad is both delicious and healthy! A win win. Highly recommend.

First time visitors. Super impressed by the warm welcome we received by a beautiful young female waitress who provided rare customer service and friendliness. She also suggested a larger table to provide more eating space and overall eating comfort. She was right to say so. The waitress was prompt to bring water to our tables, filling our glasses and offering to get drinks from the bar. Wow, such convenience. Impressed by service we were also impressed by the food. I ordered the umami burger meal and the boys meat meals. The umami burger was made to perfection and admittedly one of the best burgers I’ve eaten In a while. The men had absolutely no complaints with their meals also. As a result we asked the waitress to share compliments to the chefs. We all agreed we’d visit again.

Spent 3 nights to finally find the perfect place for meals and I kept coming back for 3 more nights; I would have continued to eat here but unfortunately had to return to Perth! The steaks were perfectly cooked, clean premises and the staff were just amazing. Call out to Renee, Tamara and Noah; very friendly, kind, obliging and are great ambassadors for Ipswich. I also recommend the calamari; delicious dish, well presented and very nicely garnished.

Food was great, friendly staff and nice venue makes for a great time. Would recommend.

Meal was average, would of been happy if it was a lunch special but not for $30.50. My Mum got a seniors chicken snitzel and vegetables, pic below. Probably would try elsewhere next time.

Great meal. Pumpkin curry with prawns and steak rare. Both meals were fantastic great price and good sizes. Presented well. Staff and service was fantastic and area as always very tidy and clean

Had dinner on a very busy and noisy ( no band, just people) Saturday night last week. There was a long wait with food but was worth the wait. Lucky the garlic bread came out early!. Having said that, for the amount of staff they didn't have, the crew did very well all things considered. The staff did notice our meals didn't come out together and were straight onto chasing it's whereabouts. House red( Shiraz) was a highlight. Good food, just very noisy. Might be quieter during the week.

The Racehorse Hotel is open seven days a week and offers consistently good food. There is also a great area for the kids and a video link to help families keep an eye on them. We ordered the seniors steak, brisket burger, parmi, cheeseburger and chicken burger. All the food was delicious and the staff managed to fit us in even without a booking.

Had the pie. It came with a Shiraz Juz which tasted very odd, not pleasant at all. They need to offer a good quality standard gravy as an option. We also had a steak and ribs which was fab!!

This pub has become our 'regular' for my Wife and I. An incredibly well set out pub with a fantastic restaurant. The staff have only ever been friendly and helpful. The food is elevated 'pub grub' that still bolsters the classics. We don't have children as of yet, but there is a play room that the kids there seem to enjoy. My only criticism is that when ordering steak cooked blue, it often comes out slightly above rare. This isn't exclusive to this pub by any means and given this is our regular, it by no means has put us off. Oh, the 'Parmi' is incredible!

Shout out to lady chef, one of your former employee named Liam. Told me this place has the best steaks in Ipswich. What can I say, he was definitely right!!! staff are extremely friendly & food was delicious. Booth seats are extremely comfortable, thank you racehorse.

I came in today 24.05.23 for Lunch Staff, Service and Food..Excellent 👌 My Compliments to the Chefs (My Steak was done Perfectly and Plating of Food👌throughly Enjoyed Every Morsel) and All Those Hard Workers there that made my First Time Experience Dining at such a Clean, & Well Maintained Establishment a Memorable one👌❤️ Thank You🙂 I will be back👍🏼

Great service!! We ordered 2 duck & 3 fish !! Must remember to come when looking for a meal.

We are weekly regulars here. I always have the 400g Rib Eye on the Bone. It's always good but Chef Poppy cooks it THE BEST! I'm always happy when I walk in and see Chef Poppy in the kitchen. My dining companions tell me the Bao Buns, Schnitzels and Barramundi are also tasty. Wish they offered the occasional Soup or Pasta of the Day.

Steak could have been bigger (from what my friend said) but was very tasty. Southern Fried Chicken Burger was delicious. Staff were great and very helpful. Would recommend

Absolutely love the atmosphere, great food, friendly faces and such a great staffing team. We eat here regularly and I’ve never had a meal I wasn’t happy with. I always make complicated orders and the staff are always happy to accomodate with a smile. Even during peak times the service has always been great! The manager Liam has grown accustomed to seeing our family and it’s always such a treat when he is working as he greets us like we are his family every time we come in! I feel safe bringing my young children here - not to mention the live music is fantastic!

Christmas lunch with the family was amazing! Was hesitant about the price at first, but it was well worth it - spread of food was amazing and service was great. Always grateful for hospitality workers coming into work on days like today, instead of being at home with their family’s or out celebrating. Venue was well decorated and kids love the gifts from santa. Will definitely be back next year! - Onyx

Our first visit tonight and we will be returning. Our steak was cooked to perfection but unfortunately our lobster was cold, however it was quickly remedied when the staff came to check on our meals and got it reheated. Outstanding service from Alice and Georgena (I hope I got their names correct) Personally not a fan of the Banana chips on the sticky date pudding, otherwise delicious! Look forward to getting to the 5 stars next visit.

Absolutely wonderful experience! My husband friend and I were there for dinner Saturday night and I was breaking out with my eczema all over my body ( was like that all day). We went and got some ice from the wonderful staff. If I remember correctly, Bree over heard and saw my face and neck and looked concerned asking me if I was alright. I said yes it happens all the time. I was feeling quite embarrassed about it but she must have know because she showed me her hands and said that she has this condition as well. She made sure I was ok and she came and checked on my every so often. I have never been to a pub like this. All staff were so kind and friendly. Complements to the kitchen! (My husband wanted to add that in there!) Thank u Racehorse hotel!!! 😄 Will definitely be coming back

Food was great, very happy with our meals. Dark hair female wait staff was great, did meal checks, asked if it was ok to clear a plate while other were still eating, seems very efficient. Like that we were offered water for the table when seated. While the M&U system has become the new way of ordering in many places this one could use a little work. Couldn’t request a different sauce on meals or any minor changes that wouldn’t incur additional costs and we had to go and find someone to make these changes, just some minor tweaks would make it better. Will definitely return.

We’ve been so impressed with our meals from here that last couple of visits. I also hadn’t been in the remodelled dining room, it looks great and it was in desperate need of an update. The steaks are always cooked to perfection, the Korean chicken starter is to die for! Also loved the orange seasoning on the chips last night.

We are always dubious when our favorite local has a menu change however this place never let's us down. the roasted vegetable salad was perfection. I had the Dry Aged Ribeye Sublime Georgina your service and menu recommendations are always on point. We are so happy this place is within walking distance but I must say we would definitely drive for this little gem.
