Best kebab shop I have known. Always greeted with a friendly service. They remember your name and all seem to enjoy a bit of banter. Food is the best part. Always clean, fresh and extra tasty. Now even my children ask to go to the grill.

Excellent spot in ipswich for a kebab takeout food has always been excellent and fast as I've been going here for years now. The staff are very friendly and operate like a family. ⚠️ Be warned ⚠️ – they only accept cash payments, a bit old fashioned, aside from that, perfect!

Was recommended on line by reviews, place is about another 5 min down the road from us. When I arrived at 6pm the place was really busy with customers, there was a bit of a wait for food and it seems to be a good idea to ring and order ahead. Staff were lovely, helpful and cheerful and gave my 5 year old a high five and a lolly. Food was worth the wait. Delicious flavoursome and tasty. This is now my go to place for quality kebabs. Thank you.

Delicious. Only had the mixed Kebab, but I've had it twice now and it's fantastic. Staff friendly and nice. Wish I'd found this before.

Food with a smile. Been coming here for well over 10 years and the staff always are polite and the food is always great. Portion sizes are over generous and large does mean large. Always get Lamb but heard from others that the chicken and burgers are great too.

Never left any review but I had to this time. The food there was awful. The chicken was not cooked properly, the salad next to the kebab was a big piece of lettuce, with a slice of tomato. To bad I didn’t take any pictures. I am definitely not going to order again.

Despite recent price increases, the food imo is excellent value. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend California Grill to anyone wanting a well prepared hot meal to take away.

Sorry about the 1 star for food....I didnt actually get my food, went in , ordered handed my card over to be told cash payments only! Who only does cash payments these days! Starvin aswell 🤬🤬 sort it out guys its 2023 not 1940!

My daughter and I's fave new place when we are in need of good food after hospital visiting. So friendly and food so good. Fast and good value.

I have had kebabs all over the country and none stand up to this place. The best flavours ever, all prepared and cooked with care. The salad is fresher than you can buy in the supermarket.

My friend had a California burger with chips and I had a large doner kebab with salad and chilli sauce. My kebab was excellent, lovely meat and a great, fresh, crunchy salad. My friend said that his burger was excellent, very tasty and great value for money. Two very happy bunnies.

Usually love California Grill, we have been coming here for years. However over the last few months we have noticed a real change in the quality of food. Pizzas aren’t as nice as they used to be, chips way over done, and so crispy and hard that you can barely eat them. Chicken not the same either. It’s unfortunate as this was the best place in Ipswich imo but sadly I don’t think I will return for a while. Food tonight wasn’t good at all.
