Good value Guest House near Ipswich Station, Cineworld and Cardinal Park Eateries. The lovely Gippeswyk Park is right behind the Guest House as well. Double glazed windows meant I couldn't hear the nearby train line at all. Room was clean, had a work space with tea and coffee. Lovely staff welcomed me and gave me all the information I needed about WiFi etc. Very helpful and welcoming. Although I booked a single room and didn't request an upgrade, they very kindly put in into a room with a double bed anyway. Always nice when a host chooses to offer better rooms when they have them available. I would have been happy in the single but it was just a nice professional touch. I'd stay again

First of all the hotel stunk of a damp place and it was dirty to the point it made me sick Second off all they took my iPad out of my room and stole it I only saw this when I got home and they told me I have to pay £50 to get it back. Third there wasn't a bathroom in the bedroom it was across the hall way and the bedroom was tiny I payed for a double bed and got too singles and they wouldn't upgrade me after I showed them the booking. Forth they kicked me and my two friends out at 5am when we was sleeping and the owner came into the room several times in the day and night WITHOUT knocking. If I was you I would stay FAR FAR AWAY from this hotel. WOULDNT EVER RECOMEND

The smell in my room was so awful that I could hardly sleep. The sign outside the Guest House also advertises breakfast but I was told breakfast had been discontinued since Covid. The owner was very polite and quick to refund my stay but I would not stay here again.

Very welcoming, cozy and central place just a few minutes walk from attractions and the train station. I stayed for a few nights and had a great time visiting my friend over in Ipswich. Owners are very helpful and friendly with the guests. I will definitely come back!!!

They claim to be a no thrills guesthouse and they definitely live up to the claim. Everything was scrupulously clean, crisp bed lining and towels. Being rocked to sleep and awaken by trains on the tracks 200 yards away is my idea of fun, but they do state how close the station is.

Accomodations are nice and well kept, common bathroom is small but sufficient. Beds are comfortable, well made and all other in room facilities are fine. Despite being close to the trainstation and rails you can barely hear the trains. Unfortunately the walls within the Guest House are much thinner and you can easily hear the other guests. Big car park next to the building and easy access to the building. Late check in is no problem. As of April 2023, no breakfast is served.

Stayed here for one night recently and must say its one of the best guest houses I have stayed in, the room was an amazing size and would have been suitable for both our kids and me and my partner, the bed was massive and as a mega bonus was comfy, I had a great sleep which is very rare. The car park was big enough to fit all guests and was easy to just come and go as we pleased The manager was amazing on arrival and told me all I needed to know then I didn't see him after that which is a massive bonus for me, knew how to contact him if anything was needed though The home is close to the center which is just a little walk away. Overall the experience was amazing and I would definitely book again in the future, good value for money too.

A nice little place where I stopped overnight. The manager was fine, he was polite and gave me a room at short notice. It's not what you would call plush, but it was okay, especially considering the low price.

Met on arrival. Friendly and helpful. Professional. Satisfactory cleanliness. Would stay again but for preference would book an ensuite. Shared bathroom worked okay though.Stayed 4 nights. Comfortable room.

Good value for money. We reveived a friendly welcome from the manager, the check in was quick. The room was clean and tidy, double bed really large and comofrtable. The bathroom was also clean. Breakfast was freshly cooked, of good quality and size. Again, the staff was friendly and kept asking if we wanted anything more. Overall, the place offers good quality for the price. Free parking and walking distance to the town centre are a bonus.

Rooms are a bit adequate. Not enough sockets for the plethora of tools the modern worker uses. However parking is plentiful. Breakfast is five star, for those without cholesterol problems they ask you how many sausages you want. Breakfast staff are fantastic. A good no fills place to stay. Not en-suite for me.

Strange smell throughout building. Like a damp, musty kind of odour. Rooms appear to be cleaned on a superficial basis, if you actually look at skirting boards and door frames and bathroom tiles you will notice that the room hasn't had a thorough clean for some time. Windows need a clean too, inside and out. Location is good. Car park also good. Host friendly enough.

Our stay at bridge guest house was made all the better for the accomodating hosts, who were happy to let us check in & out a bit later than planned & were very responsive to respond to our messages. Whilst the bnb itself could do with a bit of an update (slight musty smell, coupled with some stains on the walls & a broken toilet seat, we were serviced well & upgraded for free! Whilst it goes without saying, bedding & towels were clean and room had good facilities (ensuite, TV, electric radiator, microwave etc).
