This restaurant is great for breakfast. I felt totally comfortable, like I was in good hand, fresh food and typical Kurdish bread was freshly served. Above all the view; the picturesque view of the old city right in front of me while I’m having breakfast. Unforgettable!

Absolutely loved it, if it's your first time visiting Akre go there for breakfast, it has one of the best view of the town, they offer a very nice meal of all parts of the best Kurdish breakfast, compared to the experience the prices are really low. Especially Newroz was so much fun exploring the city and the way they take the torches to the mountain to lit the huge Newroz fire. And don't forget to book before you go.

The location is good, in the old Akre town, there are parking garages around. The decorations and atmosphere are lovely, makes you feel at Grandma's home. The food is good, service is good but can be made better. I only have comments about cleaning, the floor was not cleaned and full of rice and teeth cleaning sticks.

A rest and cafe in old Akre city, they serve delicious food and deserts, it has been really well designed with old decorations, the view is amazing to watch the Akre old city. The food is delicious, their staff are very professional and respectful.

But the best part is the outside roof terrace of Xanedan restaurant, which offers a spectacular view of old Akre town and the surrounding mountains. We had an excellent breakfast. The view was amazing and the food delicious! We had a great chat with the lady of the house, What an amazing lady. If you are in the region, you should really visit Akre and especially this restaurant. You won’t regret it.

If you crave Kurdish breakfast and would like to experience a full authentic Kurdish atmosphere with beautiful view of Akrê, this is the place for it. Also, could the prices be any more decent! We had a IQD35,000 platter for 9 adults, that’s less than $3/person.

We stopped off for tea at Xanedan Cafe. The restaurant is designed with traditional Kurdish designs and products. It also is worth stopping in for the amazing view of Akre old town. I would highly recommend stopping in even briefly to take in the stunning views.
