An amazing resort located on the Korek Mountain in Erbil City, about 2h far from City Center, you can have a lot of activities over there specially in winter when snow falls, there are Villas which you can stay for night with good prices and restaurant with open buffet

the views are so spectacular but the food and restaurants are very bad and way over priced and they don't taste as you expect for the money you pay, but one of the best to see when there is snow

We spent a night in one of the villas, the view is just mesmerizing. The villa is truly luxurious, very clean, the heating is perfect. The staff at the resort is VERY courteous: from the people at the telefric to the receptionist, the housekeeping staff, drivers and, the restaurant staff, especially Mr. Vikas, everyone is very humble and helpful. The GM - Mr. Suri, is very prompt in replying to the queries. I highly recommend staying at The Korek Mountain Resort. Our family cannot wait to go back.

It was a good place, it's usually very busy and their stuff are not very helpful. The place is good to see the great nature and play with snow in summer, nothing more, For some it's a good place for others it isn't, i just didn't liked the place and not gonna visit again, if you never been there, then take a look(it will take long time to do so).

Food : We didn’t rely on restaurant since we are opted cook our self and they had done the arrangement for barbecue. food is good and they had Kurdish breakfast buffet. It is recommended to take your own spices and ingredients, if you have plan to cook there.. Ropeway : wonderful experience. Luckily we got the both view before and after the snow.  Its almost 4 times larger than one available in Sulaimaniyah. Staffs : exceptional services, start from the guy – Judy in the ropeway reception and then we have few front desk employees helped to take care of our luggage, Abdul from reception, restaurant guys and housekeeping team. All took care of us very well. Accommodation : Classic !!!!  very good interior and facility available in the villa which is more than sufficient for a family to spend few nights over there. The view was superb from our balcony. One thing which I would like to see there – Microwave Owen, due to the temperature all foods get so cold easily
