A beautiful, mystical place, filled with a variety of rare species, and unique habitats. Once on the Heath, it seems much, much bigger from the inside, you can get lost amongst the trees and ponds.

Amazing, lived in Wirral all my life & this is the first time I've seen Irby Quarry, it's huge & it's 50 feet high. Worth a visit.

Fabulous green space. Full of mature trees, ponds and wildlife. A route through to Thurstaston common and Roydon Park. Always lovely no matter what the weather. Parking in layby by Irby cricket club.
