Amayzing food! I would never have expected to have such good breakfast this far up north in Michigan. Everything prepared tasted so good and so flavourful unlike most other regular breakfast places. Staff is friendly and great. Great place overall!

I showed up about 1 hour before close, and I asked for take out (we had dogs in the car). At first they said they were not doing take out over the phone, but I didn't call ahead. I told the waitress that we had our dogs in the car, and she understood, and informed me that they were busy, and I told her there was no hurry. I get it, it's lunch time! So I checked out the menu and ordered my food to go. The wait was not as long as I expected it to be! I left a tip for the waitress, and we took our food to a near by park to eat it. It was SO good! We wanted to come back the next day, but we didn't have time! We will be back! There is a reason people will wait for the food here! It was delicious!

Excellent food and good quick attentive service! Our family of 6 stopped by Pines Cafe for breakfast on July 2, 2022. Despite a peak time we were seated right away. All orders came quick and correct. Each dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and done exactly as it should! Really impressive and it set our day to right tone and mood! Food ordered: Eggs Benedict with no bacon Cinnamon French Toast Hot Oatmeal Veggie omelet and some other omelet Homemade crepe - one with blueberry, raspberry and maple syrup; and one with strawberry and raspberry We highly recommend Pines Cafe if you are in Ironwood! Thank you Pines Cafe! P.s. It's cash only.

Worth the wait for an excellent breakfast. Recommended by the motel owner. Their goodness was attested to by, not only the locals, but travelers returning for a visit as well as their willingness to wait for a table and food. Even with guest waiting to be seated, we never felted rushed to finish our meal and leave. Staff worked well together and willingly changed my order to assure I could get the meal I wanted. If in the area again, we would go return.

This place serves the cheapest food ownership can buy. All meals are overpriced and consequently of poor quality. They are too cheap to even provide a napkin holder on the table for customers. Finally, too many loud mouthed U. P. savages is annoying and distracting to enjoy a quiet meal. The owners loud mouth is one of the most obnoxious and annoying. Typical 3rd class Ironwood restaurant with poor management. Tourist family that will never eat there again.

My husband and I had a late lunch here today. It was excellent! The food was delicious and the owner came over to our table to introduce herself! Our waitress was Heather and she was great! We’ll be back!😊

Fantastic. I always stop at a local diner after camping and this is probably the best diner I've ever been to. The service was friendly and sharp (noticed a couple forgotten items before we did). The place was shockingly clean and well cared for. The food was excellent and servings were generous. Honestly, my only gripe is that I don't live closer. I'd go here all the time if I could. Can't wait to go back!

A great place to eat. The service was amazing and the food was excellent. Our server was amazing. She was born and raised in the area and delightful to talk to.

Great food, possibly the best in town.I would come here alot more often if they took debit/credit cards. Paying a dual ATM fee turns me off and typically go to the bakery next door or the nearby Uptown Cafe most of the time for breakfast just because they take cards. Saving card tender fees can't be coming anywhere close to offsetting the business they have to be losing because of it.

This is a nice stop for breakfast or lunch. The menu is extensive with lotus of option for traditional bee and lunch cafe foods. The waiter was attentive and made sure our meals were good. There are vegetarian options, but very little vegan options. I did not ask for specific vegan options, so there may be vegan options that I am not aware of. My partner had a chicken sandwich that they said was good. The breast we average sized. The French fries were all small (my partner isn’t a fan of all little fries) . Not a big deal, but worth noting on their behalf. Decorations are all new and north woods style. Bathroom was nice, well maintained and clean.

A nice, local diner with great breakfast, friendly service, clean facilities, and fair prices. They were very nice and accommodating for our large group, as we split into three tables.

Great local spot if you are ever in Ironwood. I love the amazing smiles you get from everyone. And I just can’t believe how delicious the food there was. Me and my wife had gotten the Pines Skillet and it was so amazing so well put together like breakfast stacker of flavor. I will say coffee was delicious as well and thank you for coming by to give me a warm up. I love that and not many places do it anymore. 100/10 would go again.

Support local business, skip the chain franchise. Actual cooking here, and very tasty. Be advised, it is a cash only place. Variety on the menu (personally, I like the skillet options). Coffee and other beverages here too. ENJOY!

Jen and her staff had genuine smiles! Jen is this kind of business owner that both my Bride and I love to patronize! She was fun and full of local knowledge that she loved to share!!! We are planning on returning there tomorrow morning!!! Bill

Great food and large portions. Staff are friendly and quick. Family friendly! They are a cash only business, so bring cash!

Server was great, food not so much. Other staff and maybe the owner were complaining about food cost and menu prices the entire time. One black haired server seemed annoyed with everyone. It was kind of an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Five stars all around- one of our favorite places to eat when we're in town. The food is fantastic, usual cafe food, I've only been there for breakfast, but it's always good. The wait staff is phenomenal. Highly recommended.
