its government places bt now shakthi mini forest? who gives this permission to apply this name....actually shakthi college gives man power and fund, other organizations also involved in the funds, dont market like this....

It was once a vast land full of garbage. Students from Sri Shakthi College and Robert Bosch employees cleaned the entire garbage and they planted hundreds of plants here. Now this turned to be a mini forest. Now it has many fruit trees and other trees as well. Nearby flower vendors take flowers from here and sell in nearby temple. It is really happy to see that the plants we planted is giving life to someone. Very peaceful place to go for a walk. There is also a small temple nearby. This village people are very friendly.

I always proud to say this is my village bcoz we planted and grew up above 4000 trees.... I luv ma village very much !!! Go Green

It was a good effort. I was there for brief time, Unable to get details. Someone who visit regularly can post the details. Siruthuli was involved in developing the site. I would like know who made the initiate etc.
