Huge fan of this Dave and Busters at The Irvine Spectrum in Orange County, California. They’ve got multiple bars and good happy hour deals on weekdays. On Wednesdays they do half priced games, which is great for the family. They recently raised the price on all of the games. Here’s the way the math works out. You get a $100 game card that has 750 points. Most games charge from 7-12 points per play so it’s about $1-$1.50 per game play. Just don’t let your kids run away with the card for too long or they may swipe away one too many times accidentally! I like the pizza flatbread here and love their burger. The bartenders are also great and friendly. The place is noisy as it should be and gets packed on the weekends. Fun ticket prize redemption store in the back where you can get toys and candy for the kids after playing ticketing games. A lot of adult arcades too! Love this place, 5 stars all the way!

Great environment. Customers were spaced out where you didn't feel bunched up. It was a general comfortable feel and you got to watch the games on the amazing screens in here. The food is great. Very tasty and from what I understand the menu has changed recently for the better. One aspect that I liked about this place is everything is up-to-date with technology. The games are amazing. you could use your phone to swipe to play and you could also use your phone to order food when you're sitting down. I thought that was really cool.

We go here every Saturday. Our favorite arcade. So many fun games and the prices aren’t bad. We just share a power card which works fine. And it’s super fun. My only complain is the basketball sometimes is clogged and you got to hit inside to get them out but it’s a small thing. Our main draw is the dance dance revolution game. Which is our favorite. They got one machine. But unlike other places we have gone it is not usually got people on it. So most of the time you can jus use it. Or maybe wait for one person. Never long lines here for it. Which is great. The staff are nice and the bar is also nice. Their drinks are good. But we found ddr and alcohol didn’t mix. So we mostly just play ddr :)

Not really my kind of place, feels a bit like a night club and or Vegas with all the video game lights, music and bars... but with that said we went there because our 10 year old birthday girl wanted to go play games and we honored her wish. She did have fun and that's what counts! The food in the arcade area was nothing to write home about, and the kitchen messed up our order & for got an item, our waiter was attentive, courteous and apologetic. If you want a better menu choice, I would suggest eating in the restaurant and not in the arcade.

I had a bad experience with an aggressive bartender yesterday, who worked the morning shift on 11/25. I came with my family and good friends to watch an important football game. When the opposing team scored the bartender yelled loudly and said “ha ha” in a mocking tone. It was so bizarre and loud I thought he must have been drunk. I politely said, “hey we are your guests.” He responded louder with an even more aggressive, “HA HA” and pointed at us. I actually became scared due to the aggressive timbre of his voice and the intense stare he gave me. He said resentfully, “I’ve been serving water to you guys (our team’s fans) for years!!!” So he took his hostility out on our family that other fans didn’t buy alcohol off of him in the past at morning games. He proceeded to taunt us throughout the game with the same “ha ha” when the opposing team scored. This is the first time since before the pandemic that we returned to Dave and Busters for these games. Prior to that, our children grew up going here for the football games. It was frightening and uncomfortable and I don’t believe we will be going back. We used to love this place. My husband and I had our first date here 19 years ago and this bartender was so awful, he ruined the ambiance of this place.

Good fun, but a fair few of the games didn’t work. The ticket shop is OK value considering it’s usually total junk in them.

The food is good and there are lots of options to choose from. Service is great but they need more people as it took long. The atmosphere is really nice. They have lots of big screen TV's and plenty of games for the kids to play. They also have an adult lounge so parents can hang out and have a drink while the kids play.

food and staff were great but theres no rating for the establishment itself which was run down and felt abandoned. 100% of games with physical components do not work. a few digital ganes had display issues which also ruined the experience using them. don’t bother going to this location.

We're regulars at Irvine and Orange locations, and this was the worst experience I've ever had at any Dave and Busters! We played a few games and decided to order food. As you can see in the pictures, the place was almost empty, so it's amazing that we would have any problems ordering or getting our food, but we did. After waiting at our table for 10 minutes or so, my husband asked the bartender if we could order from him and he said he'd get someone to help us. So we waited. First the server just ignored us while chatting away with one of the bartenders. When she finally came to our table, she didn't really greet us or say anything about us waiting so long when the whole place was a ghost town and she was far from friendly. We ordered the double pepperoni flatbread and when it came, the pepperoni was dried out and crunchy - in a bad way, like it was put in the microwave too long and kind of petrified. To top it off it was soggy and greasy on the bottom. She never came back to check on us at all, so my husband had to ask the bartender for help again. The manager, Pedro, came to our table and said he would have it remade. The second one was even worse! It looked and tasted charred. I tried a little piece and couldn't get the acrid taste out of my mouth. Pedro came back to see if we got our food. I showed him the flatbread and he didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with it. I was stunned, and as a personal chef, offended that they were fine with serving that to customers. Frustrated and not feeling like trying to explain the obvious, I just let it go. My appetite was already ruined (along with my mood). They really didn't seem to care and neither Pedro nor our server came back to our table, but they spent quite a bit of time talking behind a machine (so weird). The amazing thing is how absolutely empty the place was and they couldn't manage to make a decent flatbread or provide excellent customer service that they talk about all over the website. Mediocre at best. I think we'll make the extra drive to Orange from now on.

Very nice for kids family entertainment, they have games for all ages, highly recommend but it gets so crowded in the weekends but still good place to go with the kids, also good place for adults since they have nice games tor their ages

This place is usually extremely short staffed and the games are out of order most of the time. I also ordered fries, I didn’t like the truffle garlic thing they put on and they would not remake it because management was on a power trip. The mini hot dogs are good and the clown game is fun though

Great Dave and Busters location. The parking here is always a pain but to be expected. Lots of families and bar food.

I recently hosted my son's 11th birthday party at Dave & Buster's in Irvine, and it was a fantastic experience. The arcade offered a wide variety of games, ensuring that everyone had a great time. The American food served was delicious, and the availability of beer added to the overall enjoyment of the event. While the overall customer service was great, I did experience a slight delay in receiving food and drinks at our table. However, this minor inconvenience did not overshadow the positive aspects of our experience. Overall, I highly recommend Dave & Buster's in Irvine for hosting memorable and enjoyable birthday parties. The excellent customer service and the extensive selection of games and food make it a great destination for family celebrations.

Fun, fun, fun!! So many games to play, so little time 🤣 An indoor arcade with all kinds of games, appropriate for all ages. All members of a family can enjoy since there are games for all age groups. There's also food and drinks in the bar. Right inside The Spectrum (Irvine) conveniently located next to the parking lot!

A fun place for family night. Since they changed their menu item to a craft kitchen menu, the food is pretty good! The kid's battered chicken strips were fresh and moist. The French dip was delicious; a little on the rich side for me, but my husband enjoyed it. A safe sandwich to order. I had the veggie bowl with a side of chicken. The veggie bowl was delicious! The chicken on the other hand tasted like cardboard or chicken produced for the masses. A little surprising since everything else was good.

Well it does get busy on the weekends. But it’s still a great place to go. I take my friends with me and we play the arcade games and its still a great bonding time. The food was mostly good. I would recommend!

I Love going to play game and have a drink I don't like the service, it is not the best I know they could do better. I understand waiter/ bartender are busy but they will easily walk by you a few times without saying anything so basically they just make you wait for like 20mins to get a drink. I don't blame them i blame the DB it's self maybe they need to hire more staff. There are a few waitresses that are great.

Our experience was fun at D&B. The server provided awesome customer service. He was attentive, funny, great smile , listenend well to our requests and answered all our questions. Kudos to Jonathan Duran!!!! Food was great too!!!! Music was little loud while eating. We had to raise our voices a bit to be heard. Otherwise, it was great!

For the uninitiated, Dave and Buster's is basically an arcade with a restaurant and a bar. Or a restaurant and bar with an arcade. Either way it's awesome. They have good food, a decent selection of drinks at the bar, and a ton of fun games plus cool arcade prizes. My visit to this one was with my family ranging from 5 to 75. The kids clearly had a blast while us adults mostly sat nearby and chatted with drinks and food. Dave and Buster's is just enjoyable for all ages and this one is no exception.

All fun!...food/drink prices a bit high but you pay for the atmosphere.. best games I've ever seen..also fairly easy to maneuver a wheelchair for special needs through the crowd..fam wants to go back asap... Jerry in the prize store is the best!

A few of the games were a little wonky, but when mentioned a maintenance server showed up quickly and addressed the issue. I do miss the eat and play they use to offer, but that's not a location's fault. I haven't been here to eat in a while so I cannot comment on the food, but in the past it has been good. I'd say if your looking to spend a little cash and play some games it's a good stop to make.

This was the best Dave & Buster’s I’ve ever been to. My dad, my daughter & I had so much fun together. We love our giant stuffed animal dolphin... Sweet staff :) <3

Super fun place. Aside from playing games, I got food and drink in the main dining hall. Server was slow and rude. I had asked for a winners martini. She returned with a pink drink that had no salt rim or bleu cheese olives. When I asked for something else because the drink was clearly not made correctly, I was snapped at and told “I know I made the drink right! It’s not my favorite choice. Personally I think they’re gross, but I know I made it right!” … maybe she was having a bad day (as we all do). But, being in customer service that is no way to behave. I didn’t ask if she liked my drink… and she wasn’t even willing to ask what I thought was wrong about the drink so that she could either fix the issue or clarify what I had thought was wrong. Other than that tiff. The French dip was really good!
