A very well deserved 5/5! One of the best and tastiest restaurants ever. I loved it. The steaks were super! The food and vibes were beyond good. The sauces. The service! It was all excellent. Would love to come back.

I lived in Irvine for 12 years. I gotta admit I was not a big fan of wood ranch in the first 9 years. I found it was average and not really flavorful. During the pandemic, our family run out of eatery options and decided to give wood ranch another try. That was around December 2020. We ordered to go steak. We really didn't have high hopes. Oh boy, that was the best TAKEOUT STEAK we ever had. I don't know how they managed to keep the pepper crust so nice after we drove 15-20 minutes back home. Every since then, we keep coming back, we dined in several times since their reopening this year. I have to say, their chef on meat station is Amazing. Please never ever let him/her leave. He/she is so consistent with their cooking and always cook the meat to our order perfectly!!! 2021, while other restaurants food portion getting smaller and smaller and some of them are cutting corners on food qualities, Wood Ranch is still keep the best in both qualities and portions. Two thumbs up for them!!!

I haven't been to a wood ranch in forever . Great food, just how I remember it ten years ago! Wow, the tri tip was legit. And the fried onions were great too. My server's name was Cristian. Thanks for the hospitality sir, I will for sure come back the next time I'm in Irvine!!

We came here for team lunch and we're pleasantly surprised. Many of us ordered BBQ Plates with at least two items. Briskets are highly recommended, I also had tried tip, it was good too.Ribs are a bit dry to my taste, but it could be because it's an end rack. Service is great. We went after the lunch rush on Friday. It's a bit pricey for lunch, but overall great dining experience.

Food was delicious and service was kind, a little slow, but nice. Had some Buffalo cauliflower and the sea bass. Their bread rolls are super tasty! Everyone at the table was satisfied with their dish.

Didn't want to be outside but they put us there. It was evening and the sun was in our faces until we asked to pull the awnings down. Food was yummy. I wanted to try the Peanut Coleslaw...it was good but just regular Coleslaw with peanuts tossed in. My vegan burger was great. Wide variety in the menu.

Wood Ranch was busy the evening of our visit, but once placed, our order arrived quickly. Baby back ribs were glazed with a delightful, sweet barbecue sauce. The ribs were meaty, and prepared just right. The Carolina pulled pork was tender and served with a tangy sauce which mildly hinted at the ‘vinegar based’ sauce served at traditional Carolina ‘pig pickin’ gatherings. This evening’s fare was just as tender and flavorful as any enjoyed in North Carolina. Before our meal arrived, we enjoyed an appetizer - fresh guacamole served on a portion of Red cabbage leaf with very unique salsa and fresh chips, accompanied by a Wood Ranch ‘Honey Blonde’ ale. Delightful. The sides - fresh Broccoli, baked potato (served with butter and sour cream on the side) were a good compliment to the delicious baby back ribs. The Carolina pulled pork was served with a unique and tasty cole slaw and a creative salad. The baked barbecue beans were great.. ‘Wood Ranch’ at Spectrum Center was ‘slammed’ when we dropped in for dinner about 8:30. Found two seats at the bar and after a while we were served by an obviously overwhelmed bartender. Eventually, a staff member who appeared to be an experienced manager took our orders. Food arrived surprisingly fast, given to number of guests during our visit. We were impressed with the number of guests being served at this Wood Ranch location the evening of our visit. The majority of staff we observed were obviously well trained and experienced in taking care of their customers. The evening of our visit, staff were moving about efficiently, working to make their guests feel as though they were being well taken care of. Our first encounter with a stressed, inattentive bartender seemed to be the exception during our visit.

LOVE this place! Always SO GOOD! The full slab of ribs are excellent! I also like the sweet potato mash and the grilled asparagus! You can't go wrong here. Enjoy!

This place has really gone down in quality. We got the Tri-Tip salad and the Tri-Tip was tiny, chopped up pieces lightly sprinkled on the salad. The biggest crime was the brisket, which came looking like the cow had COVID, gray and sad (see pic) The server was very friendly and accommodating, and I liked the Wood Ranch IPA, but won't be returning soon because of the food quality.

Great tri-tip sandwich! The fries are great and they have a good selection of beer. Drinks are a bit too pricey for what you get. Still recommend! Update: went today for lunch after many months and was genuinely impressed. Had an amazing veggie burger which was spectacular. I recommend you visit this spot for lunch, the sandwiches and burgers are definitely worth checking out.

Oh dear! The garlic bread is amazing! And it’s on the house. Thumbs up! We went in and sat at the hight table by the bar. Quick service! We ordered the killer wings (which were not so spicy) and the Western Trip tip sliders (you can only pick one type of meat and get 3 of those in an order). Yummy yum! Will be back to this great restaurant 👍 Ps: we went in at 6:30pm on a Friday, almost full house! But remember the bar area has no wait!

If I were to summarize this place I would say this is Chili's with garlic rolls. Some may not think it is a fair assessment, but perhaps I can explain further. It is not a bad place, that is not the fault of the staff. The cooks did well with the materials they have on hand and the servers were great. However the food itself was just bland has leans to the hunch that some of the food was not "fresh." The yeast rolls were great. They were soft and dabbed lightly with garlic butter. I did get a extra bowl. I had the tri tip platter 10 oz portion (24.95). The cook did well, cooking it to medium - nothing wrong there. It was well seasoned and the cut was juicy. My sides were broccoli and mac and cheese. Broccoli was steamed well and was an ample portion. The Mac and cheese was premade. Macaroni was a little too soft and the cheese sauce has a somewhat runny consistency even as it got cold. I then tried the baby back ribs (28.95 size) from my friend: that when the Chili's moment came. It tasted exactly like it except the ribs had a more smoky undertone. One aside, I do like the wood fire grilling: It makes a difference. Back to the ribs, I can tell they were previously frozen, were boiled and had the same hint of warmed over flavor like Chili's. Do not get this. Extra water is served in sealed bottles. Odd but welcome. I would recommend this place, as the food is prepared well. They just need better ingredients to work with. It is decent food for families who want inoffensive fare that everyone can be satisfied with. Except the ribs.

I love this place and have been coming here for years.it is just perfect for me and my family because my meat lover husband and sons can get a big serving of meat and I have great vegetarian options. My favorite is the Natalie salad. I also love their vegan Patty. The sweet potato fries and the guacamole were our appetizers tonight and we couldn’t be happier with our food.

I am from Vegas and happen to be here in Irvine, so I’m spoiled a little bit of good restaurants. But because my friend recommended this place, I have to try it. It’s delicious. All Meat were so tender, perfectly done. I highly recommended the beans, garlic roll and corn on the side, the only thing is that I ordered the Brussels sprouts and it was not good. But overall is sooooo goood! I highly recommend it.

My first visit to this returant since 2017. I remember a delicious bbq chicken salad that I was not able to finish. This time around we were in 7 and a few of us ordered a couple of combo bbq meat plates to share a a couple their burgers and I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. I know I know so boring. But have to cut somewhere lol and I was sharing some of the meats with the Combo team as well. Food arrived in about 25-30 mins. For a Sunday night the restaurant was fairly busy. It all tastes good. My salad was a bit dry but I have asked for light dressing and extra cheese but the chicken was dry. Will propbably go again sooner than 6 years.

One of the few remaining Woodranch restaurants in California. When the Arcadia mall one was still open, we frequent there quite often. I love their garlic butter ball breads. I couldn't stop eating them. When we found out that the Woodranch restaurant is still open at the Irvine Spectrum, we booked it for lunch. The restaurant is quite busy. When we were there for lunch, we had to wait for 25 minutes before seated. We had patio seating and it was very nice seating outdoor with a nice breeze. The food is still amazing here starting with the garlic butter rolls. We ordered our favorite BBQ ribs with Natalie Salad as a side. Ribs had so smoky filled BBQ flavor and was delicious. The meats were very tender and juicy. All these tastes brought back good nostalgic memories from the Arcadia Woodranch days. Excellent service from our waitress Erin who was very attentive and friendly. Our drinks were never dry. She even gave us a cup of drink to go. Parkings are very easy here with the high tech system. Each parking row has a light to indicate available of the space. Love this mall.

Love the food here! I ordered the Beef Ribs meal, and my wife ordered the Salmon. The ribs were tender, the corn was sweet and had a little caramelization. The drinks were a little strong, but still good. We started with the shredded onions, kinda like the Blooming Onion at Outback.

Awesome if you're gluten free. If you have food allergies, don't worry. The menu indicates gluten free, vegan, nut allergy and gluten free but from the same fryer as gluten. Plenty of choices too! The food was fantastic, the service was great and the decor was enjoyable. The picture is after I dug in! So good!!
