Excellent service and food. Everything we ordered tasted extremely delicious and very well thought out. Compliments to the chef or whoever put the menu together because everything compliments each other. Definitely coming back again: a great place to come with friends and loved ones or customers.

Awesome and personal experience. Came here on my birthday and had a blast. Anyone who enjoys whiskey must try this place. Selection is insane and the food is amazing! Ask for Nolan, he is the manager. Super knowledgeable on his whiskey and will point you in the right direction.

Ambiance: We came on the tail end of brunch, but it was a decent amount of seating. We opted for the bar since it was nice out. Open concept the bar is both inside and on the patio. Music wasn't loud, quiet enough for convo but loud enough to fill in the silence. Service: We didn't have to wait to be seated (we had reservations). Our server was really nice, took our order quick so we didn't miss the brunch menu, suggested great drinks and when we didn't like one of the drinks they replaced it without us having to ask. They were amazing! Food: If you get nothing else, try the short Rib chilaquiles! I typically love chilaquiles, but I don't usually get them with meat, so these were different for me, and I'm obsessed! The fruity pebbles were really good as well. I could've used a bit more sauce, but that was my personal preference. Drinks were also refreshing and strong.

Jessy was absolutely amazing! We had great service. Sitting outside was wonderful, a light breeze and the music was at a perfect level where we could enjoy it but still talk to everyone at the table. My coworker asked for a lemon slice to squeeze on the whitefish and loved it. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich, I added avocado to it. Not pictured is the Kansas City Meatballs, which were “bomb dot com”! We were not too impressed with the spicy chicken and cheese dip, and the risotto that came with the whitefish was a little plain, but other than that we loved the food! Our group of 7 made reservations and were sat right away, and then spend 1.5 hours enjoying ourselves. I would definitely come here again!

I went here to have brunch with my wife on Valentine Day. There were lots of people and we waited about 15 minute to be seated. We ordered Bosscat Burger and 12 hour beef short rib. Both were really great, especially 12 hour beef short rib taste was awesome. We had coffee after the meal and the coffee was also great taste with aroma. Wanna be there later again with my daughter.

My wife and I have been here a few times for a nicer dinner out with maybe a drink or two, and this place always delivers. The drinks are pretty good, but the star of the show is the Nashville chicken and cheese dip appetizer. I could eat a bucket of this stuff. The short rib and pork chop are also very good. Service can be a little slow sometimes, it does get busy here. If you show up after 5:00 without a reservation on a weekend, you're likely either going to sit at the bar or have to go somewhere else. All in all, a nice place for a date or to catch a game at the bar. Service is a little slow, but it hasn't kept me from coming back a few times.

WARNING: Ask for latest menu prices before ordering… the website may not reflect the latest prices and they’ll charge whatever the market/Covid prices are ($1-2 per item upcharge). 🙄 3 stars for the food/drinks. Ordered the pulled pork hush puppies and short rib (happy they allowed me to change from scalloped potatoes to yummy jalapeño polenta)… HOWEVER the reason for my low review is due to lack of transparency and poor service from the manager. When I confronted him about the price discrepancy, his response was more about it “taking a while to update things on their side” and that they can honor the lower online menu price, but that their other guests haven’t said anything about it. I completely understand the situation we’re in, but customers deserve to have this info disclosed upfront BEFORE ordering instead of discovering it themselves on the receipt. It was rude to infer that I’m the problematic customer just because I called them out and actually checked the math. Also note this restaurant is struggling hard… when they’re looking to charge you $2 for extra bbq sauce on the side (that already comes with your meal). 😒

Excellent atmosphere beautifully crafted with designed settings that are unique. Coming Saturday afternoon brunch was being served, a bit unexpected but it was still delicious. The overnight oats and tater tot’s were great. The food is simple but good. I would have liked to have lunch options at 1pm.

Very nice hip spot. Looks to be a Locals Favorite. The food was good. I had the 28-day aged short ribs with greens and potatoes, and the portions were good size. Prices aren't too bad. Sitting is a little tight inside, and the bar takes up a lot of room. Make sure you ask for validation for parking or else parking will cost you as much as your meal. All in all it's a nice place and it's worth coming back.

We have been to Bosscat Kitchen multiple times and all experiences have always been great, but last night was the first time we booked out their private room with a Whiskey Tasting Expert for a group of 9 ladies. I cannot recommend booking this private room AND hiring a whiskey expert enough. Moses was so knowledgeable and we not only learned a good deal of information, but we were also inspired to learn more and explore. I'm now dreaming of taking a trip to Tennessee inspired by Bosscat. Our waitress was also lovely and juggled her regular tables and our group perfectly, she was wonderful to work with and accommodating. Book the room. Book an expert. Book a whiskey flight. DRINK MORE WHISKEY!

A cool spot to grab great food. If there is a wait time, there are awesome sitting areas out side to wait. It has seats around a fire pit. Open air seating area inside. Matt the bar tender was very nice to chat with as solo traveler it is nice to conversate with someone. He was very attentive even when super busy. The pig candy with spicy kimchi and the sweet potatoe skillet are delicious. For dessert absolutely go with the fried apple pie. Matt recommended and it was spot on. If you enjoy a cocktail both The Good life which is sweet and Panama Prescription is just like being on vacation.

First time here and it was a great experience for our group. The atmosphere is great and well themed, our table was an old sewing machine bench with a piece of glass on top. Our server was wonderful and very helpful with the order with recommended item. When my wife ordered her drink she let her know that it was very sweet which was great since she does not like sweet drinks. Food wise everything was very good and we will definitely be returning to try the brunch menu

Loved this place. Excellent vibes and location..very well stocked on the Bourbon and other specialty drinks. The fish was prepared perfectly and dressing on my salad was superb. Our bartender was something special. He was always there when our glasses got low....he was almost too good. Interesting twist on comfort food.

Modern interior that was comfortable with the heat lamps. Was a bit loud inside but the food was great. The highlight was definitely the fried apple pie. Had shrimp and grits that was good. Short ribs were excellent.

Stopped here for happy hour 3-6pm and had a fantastic time. The prices are very reasonable, service was great and the food was delicious. The grilled Cheese is amongst one of the best I’ve ever had (I’ve had a lot) and the Butter burger was simple, but very flavorful. Especially loved the grilled onions for texture and flavor profile.

Not a bad spot to stop into at Orange Circle while doing Antique Shopping. The libations and food were both tasty. Plenty of breakfast options for those who decide that they want to show up for brunch on the weekend. Plenty of beers on tap as well if you don’t want a mixed drink option. Staff was attentive and TVs on to watch sports. Wouldn’t mind coming back here, it was great.

very nice location, probably headache if driving/parking but i walked here since my hotel was nearby (Hilton). This is very nicely arranged restaurant, outside there is a huge projector type TV outside. i ordered steak with potatoe. Steak was 10oz, tasted pretty good, it came with a baked potato and cheese/jalapeño mixed on-top, i wasn't roo impressed with potato topping and scraped it off... this restaurant does not offer a side salad and if you want salad have to get large portion thats like $18 or more, i did get side of bread but that was 6 small bread rolls and a butter (for $11) that was "ok"... but not too impressive this location has big bar so alcoholic beverages are available, i only had soda (Coke). price, for steak plate it was $36, plate of bread $11, soda $6... so total was $54.96 before tip, a bit overpriced but for this location its not unusual at end food was good, but next time i will order fish, they have "white fish" ($30) and salmon ($35) waiters here expect high tips as i overhead two waiters complaining someone didn't leave lage tip, waitress that was serving my table was not a happy one or maybe she realized by how i was dressed up that i wasn't a high spender... or maybe she was just tired and wanted to leave.

Nice spot with unique, but comforting American menu. The Cajun chicken was nice, definitely not too spicy and the fries/wedges were thick yet had a nice crispy skin. Covered outdoor seating and indoor seating available. Indoors was full and had a loud/lively vibe. The staff were all very friendly and the food came out quickly. Clean bathrooms, paid parking garage. Looking forward to trying the burger next time.

Bosscat Kitchen & Libation is a casual and comfortable restaurant in downtown Orange. Someone did put in a lot of thoughts on interior design. The passion was noticeable. I had lunch there on a Tuesday. The hostess had a very nice smile. The waitress was friendly and attentive. She patiently highlighted some popular items on the menu. The Pig Candy was surprisingly good. The marriage of sweet crispy pork belly and spicy Kimchi was creative and well balanced. The kale salad was fair. The 12-hour short rib was moist and tasted satisfactory. I will certainly go back to try more of their dishes and beers.

First thing I noticed here was how nice the inside of the restaurant is. Our server was super friendly and was very attentive. I ordered the gold medal chicken and thought I had made a mistake with not ordering the fried chicken but I was really impressed by how good this chicken sandwich was. The bun itself was impressive and the marinade for the chicken was extremely flavorful. The french fries here are more like fried potato wedges and they came out perfect. The other member of my party ordered the kale salad with chicken and thought it was very good as well. I'd definitely come back here to try the rest of the menu.

I love the shrimp grit. I also enjoyed the lightings inside the restaurant. This place is popular on the weekends.I hope they would also have the special magic show as the other location. I will definitely come back to this place and bring more friends gathering/celebrating here.

Full service restaurant and a smaller bar area in a convenient location in Irvine. A modest happy hour menu. Ordered the pretzel dip, drinks and dessert to share. Good portions. The place fills up fast and gets busy in the evenings.

My boyfriend took me here after seeing a musical and it did not disappoint at all! Irwin was awesome and gave us some great service. We had the Brussel sprouts, pork chop with Jalapeño polenta, and sugar barrel steak. Enjoyed everything and will definitely make our way back when we're in the area again!

Wish we could give this a better review, but based on the 2 trips we had here, my husband and I couldn't bring ourselves to provide a better review. Our first attempt to visit, we ended up not eating there. We were told it would be a 40 minute wait, but after an hour, we couldn't wait any longer and went somewhere else. We went today for brunch and were faced with slow service and mediocre food. We had reservations at 1pm and arrived 5 minutes early and were seated right away. It took 20 minutes before anyone even came by to offer us water. My husband and I were about 30 seconds away from walking out. When they FINALLY came around and offered us drinks, we told them we were ready to order. Unfortunately, the waiter had a hard time taking our order because they couldn't hear us. It's no wonder with the music blasting as loud as it was. My husband and I had to scream across our table just to have a conversation. Note to restaurant: if your staff can't take an order because they can't hear the patrons shouting over your music, your music is too loud. It took 3 tries, but they finally heard me. After putting in our order, it took another 30 minutes for us to get our food. During this time, the waiter came by our table only ONCE and it was because he forgot he already took our order. (Seriously?) It was a about 45 minutes between us being seated and us receiving our food, which is a bit ridiculous since we saw several other tables getting their food long before we did and being seated after us. My husband got the Monte Cristo and I got the short rib chiliquiles. Although we enjoyed the food, it wasn't anything special or amazing. It wasn't enough to make up for the slow and neglectful service we received. Once we received our check, my husband put his card on it and we again waited around for about 15 minutes and no one ever came by to pick up the check. Out of frustration, we decided to just pay with cash and leave. Thankfully, between the two of us, we had enough to cash to cover the bill. Overall, service and atmosphere were terrible for us and the food was average. At least the bill wasn't ridiculous.

We had dinner and drinks here. I enjoyed the Portabella quinoa burger, which was amazing. Had a great sauce and patty was cooked well and not soggy My husband had The Boss Burger the chef's way and my son had Chicken Sandwich which were both delicious. The drinks were good and not too sweet. We had the Pineapple Sage Elixir and The Good Life.

This place has the best atmosphere! Came here on a Sunday for brunch with a reservation but because we had a dog in a stroller we had to wait 30 minutes for a table to leave to be seated outside. There was a violinist playing up-beat music from today, It made you feel like being in bridgerton. We order a breakfast burrito, protein pancakes and two fruity pebbles French toast. But the second french toast came 10 minutes later than everyone else’s plates. This place has unique food but it’s great to try just once.

We like and enjoyed the new place, high ceilings, big space and open environment, outdoor seatings are fantastic! A lot of choices either in entries or wines. Test great! They are quite busy, you may have to ask the waitress to bring the chicken, in case she forgot, when you ordered Sour Chicken with cheese dipping. By chance, I dropped by again during its Orange County Whiskey Festival, owl! It so fantastic and I believe there are around 500 people there!

Fantastic place for dinner. Had the pleasure to stop in while in town for work. I ordered the Cuban box chicken. The dish was delicious, but very rice forward. Chicken with the dish was ok. Cocktails were decent. Paloma was ok. All in all I would definitely be back!

Great atmosphere and the staff were all incredibly friendly. I had the breakfast burrito and my fiancee had the fruity pebbles french toast. Both were delicious and I will be definitely returning again.

I come here every time I'm back in Irvine - it's a classic for my family. Good: I enjoyed the tomato bisque soup with the grilled cheese - simple dish but I liked it a lot. Same for the sweet potato skillet - good drizzling of sweet maple syrup on the skillet. The short rib is always great - super soft and easy to bite into, and comes with a lot of complimentary dishes like the potatoes and the onion pieces. I also like the dirty rice in the brick chicken dish - but the chicken itself is average. Bad: The citrus pasta was a bit too...citrusy - it was a bit sour for me and not super easy to eat too much of it. The noodle was the perfect texture though. The place also is a bit slower on the service side and sometimes our order was forgotten in the very loud establishment. Overall a fun place to catchup with family - on the pricier side but also a good fine dining experience.
