I stayed at this location several times for business and pleasure and it does not disappoint. Considering that a lot of hotels in the area, charge a significant amount of money for lower quality, I find that this courtyard location has ample parking, quick, access to services and food, close to the freeway and easy to locate. I appreciate the rates being consistent for both my business and personal needs.

The room had a silverfish bug on my pillow as I walked in, so that wasn't pleasant. But I was able to take care of it and didn't see anymore bugs. The light in my room flickered like in horror movies and even made the noise! Too bad I am not a scary movie buff. The room was kind of musty in general and the property is an older place, so take it for what it is worth. It is ad to see because the building right next door is modern and nice, but for the hotel price being in the $200 range (which is similar to other hotels those dates) it just isn't worth it. Also, it is quite loud in the room. You can definitely hear people in the hallway, as well as all the SDE cars on the roads surrounding the hotel, and they love to rev their engines at all hours of the night. The Front desk people were nice and as helpful as they could be. I didn't ask to change rooms because I ended up finding out that they were booked up.

The lobby and internal grounds were updated. The rooms were outdated. It's surround by buildings and parking is in the garage behind the hotel. The staff was really welcoming. We enjoyed our time here. This location was really close to many things so it got an extra star for that.

Update 7/21/2022. After staying here in May I booked again and it was as good as the first time. Needless to say being a Titanium elite status doesn’t hurt. Very good staff and clean rooms. 5/6/2022 This location deserves 5 stars. Very good service and near the airport. Safe surroundings and very clean room with everything you want in a business room. The TV even welcomed me on the screen with my status as well. Easy to sleep in peace and take off for another days work.

I adore this location. This is not the kind of resort you want if you're searching for luxury. However, this is a terrific choice if you're seeking for a spotless, freshly renovated hotel with helpful personnel and all the modern amenities you would require for either business or leisure travel. The on-site restaurant has a small menu, but everything I've ordered from it has been excellent, fresh, and attractively presented. Nice design and cozy furnishings can be found in the rooms. The pool area is as peaceful and tranquil as it is possible to be so close to a busy road. Additionally, the landscaping is lovely and well-kept. I'm eager to return and stay here.

Very close to the airport and clean. Decent size gym . Rooms are spacious and clean . Note rooms very close to jamboree road and sometimes have lot of traffic noise.

First impression was the worst. I noticed while on my way to the hotel they had a 1 bedroom suite with 2 double beds advertised and available for the duration of my stay. Upon checkin I requested this room as I am a Platinum Elite member. The front desk person was rude and tried to tell me I was looking at the wrong hotel and that they didn’t have a room like that(I showed him but that didn’t change things). While he was there he answered the phone multiple times and one of them he just transferred/hung up on the person while they were talking to was trying to ask him a question. I get that upgrades aren’t always available but to be lied to just made me feel like he didn’t want to do his job. What good is brand loyalty if you are treated like that.

Reasonably clean rooms; the showers are iffy and the towels very old/worn out. Beds were ok. Excellent service at the front desk; reliable airport shuttle.

I'm very disappointed in my stay and I'm sharing my experience. I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. On the second night, when I came back to the room at around 10pm, I noticed that the bathroom sink was FULL OF DIRTY WATER (my tap was turned off the entire day obviously). I immediately called front desk to request a fix, only to be told that there's nobody available to fix it. After about 2 hours, the sink began to overflow, and the room began to have a STENCH. I called front desk again and was told that basically NOTHING can be done and I had to sleep with the stench, and the sound of the SINK OVERFLOWING even more from time to time. The next morning, as I was checking out, I explained the situation of last night and requested a refund on the second night. Instead of refunding me, they only gave me a mere 5000 POINTS, which is not even remotely enough for staying a night at a Marriott hotel. So be warned, your bathroom sink might overflow during the day when you're gone. And when you're back, there's possibly nothing they can do to fix the problem. And in the end they'll only brush you off with a tiny amount of refunded points.

I stayed on 9/28/23. Upon arrival, all of the building's hot water was shut off. The scheduled maintenance was planned to end around 9PM if I remember correctly. I tried to take a shower around 11PM to find no hot water and a gross sewage smell eminating from the shower water. Needless to say, I skipped the shower that night. The following morning I still did not have hot water and didn't want to risk smelling worse or getting sick in case the water was contaminated. When I returned to my room to pack up and check out (around noon 9/29/23) the hot water was working again. I really wish I had the opportunity to switch hotels. It was unfortunate to wrap up a work trip with no shower available. Felt gross and underprepared for my presentation Friday morning (9/29). I do not plan to return. Other reviews suggest their experience was great so perhaps this one a one-off deal! The only redeeming factor was Jacob's excellent customer service and fantastic attitude at the front desk.

Nice size and comfortable rooms, most service was great, mix feelings on the coffee bar. The location was kind of a pain to grab food each day, and the shuttle was only for the air port.

Not the best stay. The hospitality of the staff was the best part. My room smelled like cat urine, there was mold in my sink, the faucet was broken and the outlet by the sink where I plugged in the iron was not functioning and there was hair on my couch and in the tub.

Good location in a nice part of town. Most or all rooms have balconies. There are a few walkable restaurants. I just wish breakfast had been included, or at least that Starbucks in the hotel was open before 7!

dirty, old, need a deep cleaning and update. As a Bonvoy Titanium I can say also this property is really greedy in their welcome not even offering bottle water and providing a room far from my preferences. I will not stay there again.

The rooms were spacious, and I can't say enough about how comfy the beds were! My daughter & her boyfriend enjoyed the pool & hot tub. I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't served. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and pleasant.

Delfin made us feel right at home despite our late check in, being very courteous, helpful, and friendly in answering our needs and going above and beyond to make our stay restful and relaxing. The room itself was really functional, relaxing, extremely clean, had a huge TV, and was completely silent in allowing us to get a perfect good night's rest before our flight. Thank you so much for having us!

Good location, centrally located,, easy to find ample parking which is rear in Irvine. The hotel needs to be remodeled, the room wasn't as clean as it should have been. The bathroom floor was sticky. The electrical outlets on the desk lamp are worn out, so none of my devices charged overnight. I asked for a quiet room and the put me along side Jamboree, the very busy and noisy road. Not a happy stay for me...

Great and friendly service. Reception, Bar, and Bistro, everyone kind and attentive. Although I left behind my tablet at the room, the receptionist Alyri immediately retrieved it and arrange the delivery to my home! This place is my right choice for the trip to OC.

Exceptional staff and brilliant lively ambiance. Clean, courteous and fun for both solo ventures, family outings, or sneaky link rendezvous. Highly recommended.

DO NOT STAY HERE MONDAY NIGHT. TUESDAY MORNING AT 8AM STARTS THE LANDSCAPING AND DOES NOT STOP UNTIL NOONISH. SO LOUD AND ANNOYING AND DOES NOT STOP. The breakfast food at Starbucks was really stale. Room was clean and accommodating.

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): AMAZING STAFF!! Polite, friendly, accommodating, and genuine! My Company and I will be back! More In-depth Review: I booked the courtyard last minute due to a scheduling snafu at another Marriot Location, and I am glad I did! The facilities were clean, the location was excellent, and the staff was TOP TIER!!! Honestly, I would book this place again based on the staff alone! They were all wonderful, kind, and worked well together! It is evident that their communication with each other is second to none! As a personal customer, they were amazing at making me feel like a guest at their home vs a guest at a hotel. From a bystander in the lobby, I watched as the staff help each other out when they got backed up without missing a beat and kept everything streamlined. I watched them handle difficult customers without a twinge of hesitation to provide the best service for their location. It is evident that this location consists of quality people who care about the service they provide. I hope it is okay to give a quick shoutout to a few people I wrote down. Janis, Garrett, Alyri, and Michelle you all are the ROCKSTARS that make this place run! You're absolutely killing it, and it is because of your service that my company will be back! Thank you all again!

Our flight was canceled after spending a week in Newport, so I scrambled and found us a room for one night. The staff were great and made an awesome recommendation for dinner at a restaurant within walking distance.

This was a good place to stay if you want to be close to the beach without paying beach front prices. The rooms are a but dated but the bed was very comfortable. Overall , it was quite and the pool is definitely a plus.

This hotel could use an update, but it was fine. It has a good location close to UCI and the John Wayne Airport. There is ample parking when you factor in the parking structure in the back of the hotel. I had a two room suite which worked out well. My limited interactions with the staff were good.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Courteous staff, great location and the courtyard is fantastic (no pun intended).

Coffee shop restaurant was closed (on a weekend?), so we had to go out to get food! But the Filipino front desk worker was just so wonderful! And for being so professional we brought him back a lucious Peach turnover --- and he so graciously accepted, and said he would eat it with his coffee on his next break! I hope I don't spell his name wrong . . . Delfin!
