This is a perfect "local bar ". It's a hole in the wall. It's awesome! The food is great, the staff is great, the atmosphere is great too! The drinks are worth making it a regular hand out.

Highlights include: cheap drinks, good for small groups, great place to watch sports, cheap pub food, and fairly good service. However, my cheddar burger came out rather dry, and the fries were greasy and moist. The mozzarella sticks weren’t terrible, but they were obviously formerly frozen and not worth the money in my view. Despite the mediocre food, the service was decent and the drinks budget friendly. With so many great spots in the vicinity, it’s difficult to rationalize dining at Mac’s. But if you’re looking for a place to stop in for a few cheap drinks, and want a casual neighborhood sports bar feel, I’d recommended it. 3/5

This is one of the best dives in Dallas! It’s super low key and hella affordable. Krystiana (I know I’m spelling this correctly) was our server on a Saturday afternoon. She was literally the only employee out front besides the cooks. She was handling the bar and providing exceptional table service to our very large party of 16. There were also other customers in the building that she was attended too. She was amazing! Now for the food, my appetizer was queso with taco meat, it was very good and came out fast. For my entree I had the Philly cheesesteak meal with Cajun fries. Superb! Good drinks! Definitely recommend.

Great hole in the wall bar! Food and drinks are cheap and good! Servers are super nice but they can be slow at times when it comes to ordering/refilling drinks/getting the check, etc. If we’re not in a rush, this is a great spot to get some food and watch a game!

I'm not sure what's happened to this place within the past 6 months to a year but it seems like it's going downhill. Last night we went in thinking they still had their half off boneless wings (they used to do 50 cent wings on Sundays and Mondays) but they no longer have that special. When I asked the waitress for that she was so unenthusiastic about it. It seems like her and the cook where the only ones there. It also seemed like she was way more excited to serve her regulars than anyone who just walked in. Mind you, we are not regulars but this isn't our first time there and she just so happened to serve us a couple of weeks ago. She just seemed like she didn't want to be there and wasn't excited to serve us. Upon walking in, I noticed a lot of tables were dirty, not with dishes but just like they hadn't been wiped down and crumbs were left so it was hard for us to find a comfortable place to sit. The wings were good but the garlic parmesan could've used more flavor/sauce. All in all it was a blah experience. I was so excited to get the boneless wing deal and it was a huge let down (I know inflation probably has something to do with this but it was the way she went about it). Not only that but service was subpar. I can understand that it is probably frustrating for one bartender to run the whole restaurant and patio but at least seem like you want to be at work. Unfortunately, this place has lost our business and for what it's worth, we'll be ordering from another wing place from now on. I'm giving 4 stars because I know this place has potential and my intention for this review was not to drag them down but to make the manager and others aware of their situation from a customer's point of view. I get that it is a bar/dive but cleanliness and more/friendlier staff goes a long way. I hope that you all consider hiring more staff!

I've passed this place several times & didn't notice it. Found it on Google after searching for Philly Cheesesteaks near me. Sports enthusiasts would Love the atmosphere @ Maacs, food, drinks & sports all in one spot. Ordered a Philly & Fries online. They did not disappoint. 😋Would order online again.

Very neat and decent ambiance. Good place to hangout with friends. I tried fish & chips. Fresh cut potato chips are definitely worth a penny. The cajun seasoning catfish fillet is just ok to my expectations. On a whole its a one time visit for food.

Yummy yummy food. I literally ordered twice for those chicken wings. Love the regular margarita.

I love this little spot And shout out to both of the fabulous bartenders/waitresses. They single handedly manage that place fabulously and make amazing drinks. It's a real chill spot.

My brother and I love going to Maacs! Ask for Taylor, she makes the best margaritas around. She's always so welcoming and makes not only us but other customers feel special. I sometimes bring my daughter in, she loves Taylor, and says she makes the greatest strawberry lemonade. I love their wings and tater tots. Will definitely go back often.

I love this place. The people are great and the atmosphere is fantastic. You leave always with a few more friends then you start with. Honestly though the staff is great. My favorite is Taylor. She always remembers your face and favorite drink. She always makes you feel good when you get there and makes you never want to leave!! Go here and ask for her!!!

Maacs bar and grill really surprised by the excellent service provided by the staff, especially Christiana. From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was enjoyable. The ambience of the bar was average, nothing too extraordinary but still comfortable enough for a casual night out. While the decor might not be the highlight, the friendly atmosphere created by the staff and other patrons made up for it. When it comes to the food, I have to say it was just okay. The menu had a decent variety, but the flavors and presentation didn't leave a lasting impression. However, if you're looking for simple bar bites or snacks to accompany your drinks, they do the job well enough. Overall, what sets this small bar apart is the exceptional service they provide. The staff's attentiveness and genuine friendliness elevate the overall experience despite the average ambience and okay food. If you're looking for a place with great service to enjoy a few drinks with friends, this could be a good option.

I started going here few years ago it was great my number on spot to grab a burger or catfish it has recently started declining on the food my purchase I made to day the burger wasn’t even done all the way on my chicken strip order looked like they just dumped left over fries from another order in there and I was trying to order an alcoholic beverage for my wait and got a freakin flavored lemonade instead really use to like this place even not being fully considered a regular but I see why there is so much issue and other reviews if you not the friend of someone there

I come to Maacs regularly and the food is phenomenal and the service is even better. Taylor and Alaria are rockstars! They are great bartenders and even better people to hang out with. Highly recommend Saturday Night Bingo at 9pm- always a great time! Great place to hang out, grab delicious food, and have a few drinks. Can't recommend enough!

They make it impossible to place a to-go order. Can't do it on their worthless website. Can't call them as setup to go directly to voicemail. If use Doordash can't customize the order. Oh well, the food is overpriced anyway. And the lady who works dayshift is beyond rude. Place was great when it was a Boomer Jacks years ago. Now it's a dump.

Great service, good beer, and delicious food. I love the option of indoor or outdoor seating and there's plenty of bar seating as well. Restrooms are always clean.

I love going to Maacs Grill. This is a great weekend and weekday spot with amazing food to boot. We love Taylor as bartender on Friday nights, she always makes sure everyone is having a great time and is taken care of. Music bingo on Saturdays is also a blast! 10/10 would recommend.

It took me a minute to find the place, my GPS was routing me to the KFC, go through the light and it's right in the middle of the shopping center. Comfortable environment, a mixed crowd, super friendly and helpful staff. They had drink and food specials (after 9 p.m. can YOU believe it OR it could have been just for St. Patrick's Day ask before ordering) AND they have Karaoke. I have to go back to get my hip hop card back, I forgot the words to Shoop by Salt and Pepa (it was tragic, the young lady singing Beyonce was worse), I'm going to blame it on the alcoholllll (Jaime Foxx voice). There was some REAL talent there, and if you got the courage stop by. If there was a complaint the place gets packed quickly and the seating is limited, no worries there is an overflow outside under a covered area.

Great atmosphere! Had my birthday party here with Robert "O" Karaoke, and it was a blast! Best karaoke hands down! The bartender Greg was working alone that night, and he was great! Will definitely return for more karaoke and good times!
