Absolutely, amazing space! The inside had some amazing rooms. While the outside was perfect for group gatherings! Very eclectic, and intimate!

Although a walk through was done and a discussion of the wedding plans and expectation was done, nothing was as expected nor paid for. A Nov wedding has expectations of being chilly at least, so 5 heaters were ordered at a cost of $300. 3 showed up after the wedding was underway. Only one worked. 2 more showed up after half the guest had left. Only some of the tables were set up and not with the right colors. The lighting was so poor it was hard to view the wedding. But the photographer helped out here. The kitchen was dirty and the rooms for the wedding party to dress were like storage rooms.. Without the assistance of the guests it would have been a disaster. Think twice before reserving this venue . And be prepared to do everything yourself.

Big beautiful venue. The weather was perfect for the event I attended. No mosquitos or bugs. Convenient parking. There was plenty of places sit under individual tents. The sound system was great and the staff was amazing. Met the owner who’s also a pleasant sweetheart. Definitely will be back on my next visit in town.

We had a great time at Journey Cafe. My friend hosted an event and she said the owner was great to work with for her party. My friend's party ended up being my surprise engagement. Needless to say, I had a wonderful time. The staff was warm and helpful and the decor is lovely. It's a hidden gem in the city. I'll definitely return.

I Love this place!!! I've been here on several occasions. It's awesome!!!! Even when it's cold they have the heaters for outside and we dance and eat and OMG what a good time. Its spacious and I think it can hold a couple hundred of people. So the parties can be big and or small. You have have multiple things going on at once. The wellness fair they had was GREAT! This is the place to be. I'll see ya their!

Kim was AMAZING! From the start she made the process effortless. She was hand on the entire time. The venue was spacious and beautiful and housed our guests comfortably. The vibe was great and I will be hosting more events at Journey's.

When I first toured the venue it was very charming and I loved the energy. I was extremely stressed and did not know what questions to ask. I had been searching all over DFW for a beautiful and affordable venue. When I stumbled across The Journey Cafe I was so relieved. Kim was easy to deal with and kept in contact with me over the months of planning. She calmed my nerves several times and even sent ideas for decor since this was a DIY wedding. The day of the wedding was a blur, but I had an amazing time with friends and family and was so happy to marry my new husband that I barely noticed any little hiccups that occurred. I danced, laughed, and danced some more. Everyone had a great time and complimented us on a beautiful wedding and great party. We didn't use the club portion of the house, but the guest appreciated all the bathrooms and the fire pit we used for s'mores. It's a very lovely location, and very affordably priced.

Well from drive up it looked unmaintained. Then we entered and it was no better. We saw that the tables for guests was set up brides/grooms tent and cakes tent set up. That was it. No gift table no food tables. No use od kitchen as promised as it was a mess. The bride and grooms room were un acceptable. There were supposed to 2 brides rooms but you could only use one as one room had no curtain Grooms room looked like a drug room decor not funny or cute. Now outside sidewalk dangerous. No lighting to speak of 2 rows of lights. So dark more danger. We had to try and get everything ready on tables that were not ready and had to ask for table cloths. Later on we saw no lights in the tents for the bride/ groom they sat in the dark literally and the cake was the dark as well. The food was in the dark as well thank goodness for photographers lights over the food so people could see what they were eating. How do you dark dark dark. Just no lighting to speak of. The the heaters I paid for separately 5 outdoor heaters ha! Was then told oh its 3 and fire pit. I said no I ask 5 heaters. Saw 3 one worked. Then we had to provide fire wood 300.00 and we provide wood. What??? AND the heaters ain't working. So I was told refund would happen. Until more than half way through wedding some got one more heater working and found another heater somewhere surprise!!! More than people gone from being cold and now they find another heater. NO. Not acceptable. This either day was a fiasco. One mess after another. I feel bad for my son and daughter in law. They deserved better. As the mom/ mother in law I wish I had known a head of time I would have found a much better venue for them and paid for it. Stress free.i would not recommend this place.

Came here for a kickback, and the outside area was beautiful. The inside of the event center definitely needs some renovations, especially at the restrooms.

I had a retreat called "Exodus" this past weekend at Journey Cafe! The space was amazing, the owner Kim was polite, friendly and accommodating. We were there for over 6 hrs for the retreat and felt welcomed and anything we felt we needed was taken care of. I highly recommend Journey cafe for mostly any of your needs because the space is so flexible! It was fun and the retreat was definitely enhanced by it being in that space!
