Like a lot of review here I’m going to say that sometimes the best food places are hidden. I was not expecting anything when coming to that Italian restaurant but I found a very affordable and very good Italian place! I’ll definitely come back! The only down point is that they only accept GIROCard/VPay and not Visa and Mastercard.

Super friendly staff and owner, excellent fish pasta, washed down with a nice pino grigio. The tiramisu is not great though.

The Pizzas were delicious. Just the right thickness of the crust, great crust to topping ratio, with just enough cheese to make it tasty yet not greasy. The service was great as well, very engaging, polite and you could feel the enthusiasm of the food they make just from the way they talked.

We were drawn to Orazio due to its positive reviews. Upon arrival, we noticed the restaurant was in a semi-basement. As we dined early, there were few customers. Despite our initial hesitation, dining at Orazio turned out to be a great choice. We started with Bruschetta - fresh and crispy. Orazio offers a daily menu and presented us with a tempting Dorade fillet. We promptly ordered it as our main course. On the waiter's recommendation, we paired the fish with a Pinot Grigio. The fish was freshly prepared and delightful. During our meal, we observed the waiter preparing Spaghetti in a massive cheese wheel. It looked enticing. We'll consider it for next time. For dessert, we chose their Zabaione. It's an exquisite treat accompanied by a special presentation—worth experiencing without spoilers.

I can’t help wondering sometimes if all good Italian restaurants migrated abroad, as often I ate better Italian food outside Italy than in Italy. Here’s another example… We were in Bonn for a long weekend. As we enjoyed this little gem so much on day 1, we decided to simply return on the second day. Classic Italian dishes, with good quality products. I recommend the Zabaglione as a dessert, it is made ‘show cooking wise’ at your table…

By far the best Italian restaurant in the area. The pleasant welcome, the evident experience of the kitchen and the delicassy of their meals will supplant all your daily worries and let you remind how pleasurable it is to simply enjoy a quality dinner. Highly recommended.

After reading all the nice comments I decided to try the pizza out, absolutely delicious!!! Bonn really needs pizza like this instead of the usual dry thin s*** you get everywhere. The pizza dough has just the right thickness and consistency, the ingredients are very fresh (you can taste it), no wonder why people love it here. Definitely coming after covid to have a meal in this original italian restaurant, until then I will continue to order! Thank you Orazio and the nice staff!
