DISGUSTING. FILTHY. RUN DOWN. SAD AND DEPRESSING. YUCK! This is one of the filthiest, most disgusting places I've ever been to in my entire life. It looks like it was really nice at one point, and the general manager either gave up or just doesn't care. And they didn't just miss a cleaning day or 2.. It's obviously been completely let go for years on end, and I'm cancelling my membership immediately, they do not deserve my business or your business under any circumstances. This was my first visit to this club since I previously went to the Redmond 24 which is actually kept up and is much nicer and much cleaner. Only *some* of the issues at issaquah 24.. -missing ceiling tiles all over the club in random spots give it the 'abondoned' look -broken tiles everywhere (pool, walkways, locker room, showers, steam room) that have never been repaired, or by the looks of it ever will be. I almost cut my foot several times -tvs are all ancient -every single piece of glass in this joint has caked on dirt, grime and general nastyness that looks like it has not been cleaned in months, possibly years. Why have so much glass if u don't intend to clean it? -zero staff present or on site is absolutely absurd, for any business. I saw zero staff in the building in a few hours time there -Every single piece of metal in the pool area is completely covered in rust (complete neglect/incompetence) -i made the mistake of going in the elevator, which has been repurposed as a bathroom for the homeless.. not even joking check it out that smell has been in there a long time and I almost puked, there's no cleaning that.... Shame on you for letting this happen and get to this point and not doing anything about it. -the front desk was unmanned both when I arrived and when I left, ANYBODY could just walk right in, member or not. A side feature were the homeless people wandering the pool area and locker room aimlessly. Everyone that works at this location should be absolutely embarrassed they have let this place go to the depth it has, I was completely shocked. I don't have plans to ever go back into this building again and I'm cancelling my membership indefinitely tomorrow. Pics attached for reference : ( Visited Saturday 2/23/19 11pm

***I RECOMMEND BYO CLEANERS/PAPER TOWELS TO CLEAN BEFORE USE!!!*** This is what I personally do and here's why: (Every 4-8 photos are from septate visits) UPDATE 7/8/2023: Almost fell down the tile stairs to the pool area due to loose/broken tiles Showers have only lukewarm water. All the problems I listed below are getting even worse. STEAMROOM is still broken, was told they have the part but nobody to fix. The HOT TUB is now broken as well. There's no jets, just hot water. GAL at the desk was rude and unfriendly. Embarrassed me Infront of my guest with her tone, unprofessionalism and lack of interest in her job. We were bothering her during her internet phone time. UPDATE 6/30/2023: THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THE STEAM ROOM! Trash cans over flowing Dirty floors, elevator, steps going up to gym and down to pool. (Tile stairs going to pool area a lawsuit waiting to happen) Asked the gentleman at the desk how to get on their complementary wifi because my phone service is non-existent while inside the gym and he didn't have a clue. ORIGINAL POST 6/25/2023: I'm a little upset.... I paid almost $400 for a year platinum member ship, in cash, to find out there was several promos I wasn't given/offered. I got a walk through, looked nice but everytime I go (late at night) the place is a wreck! The pool is dirty(adding chlorine to the pool is not cleaning!) the showers are dirty (soap scum, hair) the dispensers are out of soap, the sauna smells like dirty feet, hair in all the drains🤮, the stairs going up to the gym are nasty, the elevators are dirty, most of the trash cans are full or over flowing. And the night staff doesn't care, they are playing on their phones or working out... Last time I was there to swim in the dirty pool, I had to clean the downstairs bathroom so it was decent enough to shower and change in! It's gotten to the point I bring my own household cleaners and paper towels to clean up before I'll use anything bathroom/shower/locker room related... The steam room has been out of service for over a month, they have it posted that it's supposed to be in working order in late june-its the 1st of July today-hopefully it's been fixed...., Here's some photos of my last 5 visits.... The ONLY REASON I am still coming here is because it is 24 hr access...

This place has lost its quality since the pandemic hit. Every other competitive gym in the area is open till 11pm and this is the only gym that has been closing at 9pm. They also charge you the full annual fee and the full monthly fee with no changes, considering they arent even 24 hours now. It's a ripoff. Some of the workers care about masks, some don't. It's so weird. some will come up to you and tell you to pull your mask up, the same individuals they are talking too at the gym that are their friends have their mask down and it isn't a problem. They have a great wide selection of machines. I'll be looking at other gyms due to poor hours. This gym was convenient for the working individual because of the hours. I dont see it returning back to 24 hours any time soon.

Love the gym and the morning crew and trainers but managment is either incompetent or ignorant. Today aGM said they didn't know a piece of equipment had been broken for over 4 months... incompetent. Gym was filthy until we complained about it. I don't think they care about the members or the gym. At least for water is reliable again. 5 stars to the trainers... no stars for managment. 10/30 update.. they fixed it

Do not go here if you don’t want to face an extremely rude and taunt attitude manager when you have questions about any problems, e.g lost contact trainer, recurring charge personal training sessions with short expiration date without any reminder(email or from trainer) . The manager here just hang off my phone, using a bad attitude to treat me when she called back to me. Every questions she answered are “no” without any empathy and very rude and impatient. She don’t care why customers have questions, doesn’t have empathy why customers are worried when their expensive personal training classes are marked as “no show” without any reminder. I’m a member here for over 1year. I never talked to the manager here before, this is 1st time. It’s really annoying to talk with this person. If you want to come here, I would recommend talking with the manager first, don’t trust sales person, because the sales person or front desk here cannot help resolve anything, only manager have authority. If you find the manager is a hard to deal, unhelpful, cold, rude, race discriminating person, don’t come. You will regret. But remember she can disguise when she want your money. The money you paid deserve a better customer service. But here, Customer service deserved 0 rating. They only want you to spend money, automatically charging your credit card, but when we really encountered issues, the manager here only offer an extremely taunt and rude attitude, damaging mental health. Here I want to update my review, I almost forget to mention when this manager called me back (this lady manager was not at front desk when I dropped by the physical location) with an extremely rude attitude, and even when I haven’t finished my words, she rudely interrupted me, spoke bad words to me and cut off my phone. I hope the company can have some recording about what this manager said. What a shame! I cannot believe I have been a member here for 1 year and finally received such disrespect.

DONT come unless you like to talk the bad attitude lady who is the manager. I strongly feel she is racist. I was on the phone of talking to this lady to cancel membership, I guess she can tell from my voice that I am not native speaker, super bad attitude and no suggestions provided, except keeping accepting my monthly fee.

I wanted to find a gym for my two teens and I that had a basketball court. We ended up downloading a 3-day pass. The first visit to this gym was a late weekday evening and we were told that managers leave by 7pm and only managers could redeem the guest passes. I ended up paying for two guest passes for my kids at $10 each. Signed on a clipboard because they were under 18. Today, we arrived around 5:30pm so we can make to be there before 7pm so my kids can use their guest passes. I get told by a different front desk person that the manager is not there but will be back in 45 mins and we have to wait. I’m like wow, I can’t wait I have to take my youngest to soccer and asked if I can just sign something now and my kids can wait for the manager. The front desk person said no immediately. No other solution was provided. So then, I ask if I can buy guest passes instead as I had to get going to take my youngest to soccer. She goes “ok, are you their parent?” And I respond with “yes.” (Btw, my kids are biracial and I am white) She then goes “do you have proof? Like a birth certificate???” 😳😳😳 I go “a BIRTH CERTIFICATE? Do you ask everyone that?” She goes “yes, it’s required.” So I go “it’s required? How come I didn’t have to provide that last week!? Are you asking this because they look different from me?” She goes “no, it’s policy.” I’m like “do you have kids?!” She responds “no.” I then say “ok, so I’ll tell you right now, no parent is carrying their child’s BIRTH CERTIFICATE on then randomly. I’ve worked at a gym before, there is no reason you need a birth certificate. Why are you being so difficult?! Are you racist? This is insane.” She finally goes, “fine, I’ll let you get the guest passes. That’ll be $25.” So I give her $25 in cash, and she goes “$25 EACH.” So then I’m like, “how is it $25 each and last week it was $10 each.” She goes “I don’t know.” Obviously, continuing to be difficult. Nor was it taxed like it was last time, so not sure if she pocketed the money at this point or not. Really not a good look unless this establishment is racist and lets racists work there. She also had ZERO knowledge on customer service. Absolutely difficult for no reason and did not provide any solutions or other options. Definitely will no longer consider getting a membership here. I thought I was stuck in 1945 or something. Totally unacceptable.

I'm not giving it 5 stars because they recently cut towel service. I would even pay for towels when I need them. The gym is large, and has a lot of equipment, free weights, a basketball court, a couple of rooms for group classes, and a pool. Clearly anyone complaining about the pool hasn't been to other clubs. It's a good pool, 25 yards long, so you can do laps. There's a jacuzzi, and a steam room and sauna. They're usually all working. The pool is reasonably clean, and not too warm - even on the cool side - which is good for swimming. I've always liked 24 hour fitness, and feel it's a good value for the money. I've been going there for maybe 10 years now.

The staff at the Issaquah gym is rude and very disrespectful especially Russell. Very discriminatory behavior just because I am not white and you can. I rather take my business to a place where people are more respectful and kind.”in a world where you can be anything, please be kind!!!

Amazing customer service. Definitely a real gym with good equipment. The only con I can think of is that the water fountain tastes metallic but not a deal breaker. My favorite gym so far

After reading reviews from the past couple years, while I was out of the country, I was afraid to come back to this gym. I used to frequent it every day (and loved it!), but I was dissuaded to rejoin seeing so many 1 stars from 2018/19. However I am happy to report a very nice experience from my trial period. I’ll happily say that the facilities and equipment always seem clean now, the customer service was impeccable in helping my girlfriend and I join, and it has a great atmosphere. Whatever the change in staffing, management, or morale was- it’s really paid off! Yes, they don’t have towels anymore but that hardly merits a 1 star review. Another bummer is that the basketball court is bought by a kids team for a couple hours in the afternoon every day. But overall it’s a great gym. Thanks 24hr crew! I look forward to my workouts here!

The wet suana is busted indefinitely and the dry sauna is very dirty. The lockers get robbed about once a month. There is black mold in the mens bathroom on the ceiling. The cameras in the parking garage arnt turned on and many cars are broken into. This gym is a trap house of gyms. Its really gross.

Very disappointing. If you're looking for a free trial this place will not accommodate, except for the following conditions..you must live in the immediate area, and you can only come during "free trial hours" 11am-6pm ( told by front desk staff) regardless of the 24hr fitness email code you may get for a free trial, it is subject to particular location restrictions. ( this location has restrictions). So if you live somewhere else and frequent issaquah with fanciful visions of checking out this gym.....forget about it, they want the subscription ring without the dates. NOPE

I recently applied for a free pass at 24 Hour Fitness, excited to try out their gym for three days. The idea of utilizing a promotional offer seemed perfectly reasonable to me, especially since "free pass" was clearly advertised. However, my experience at the front desk was far from welcoming. The staff looked down on me and stated that the free pass was only for those seriously considering a membership, not for casual visitors like myself. I found it amusing yet inconvenient that the free pass required a manager's confirmation. The warning I received about the misuse of the free pass left me confused. If it's not meant for trial, what's the point of advertising it as such? As a current LA Fitness member, I was genuinely considering a switch if I liked the service and facilities. However, the attitude at the front desk was off-putting. Denying access with a free pass, which is meant to be an invitation to potential customers, is simply absurd. This experience has significantly influenced my view of 24 Hour Fitness.

Pros: 1. Friendly and professional front desk staff. 2. Excellent variety of workout machines and equipment. Cons: 1. By far the most poorly maintained basketball court I have played on. This part of the gym seems to be totally neglected in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. Provide hoopers with a safe and enjoyable experience, by sweeping the court once a day at a minimum and mopping the floor at least once a week. Regularly, there are large clumps of dust all over the court as well as trash. On the plus side, the size of the court is great as well as the number of baskets. The floor is just always so incredibly dusty, making it impossible to get good traction for any decent length of time.

It's ok, there are some better options out there with 425 and anytime fitness nearby. I'm still a member because I like my personal trainer. It's also a really big gym, has a good basketball court and a decent pool. The problem is that it's always packed, has terrible venting, and it's home to a lot of Instagram/selfie junkies that are there to stare at the mirror.

The girl name taylor didn’t let me in, we bought the platinum one, they told us that we can bring 2 people and doesn’t matter how old they are. At that time we did bring parent with us. Let’s say the b taylor was being racist cause we are asian, I can tell by her acts. Very good very good 1 star for u 🙏

I have not interacted much with the staff but they seem nice and friendly. Like others have said, this is just not a clean gym, I'm sorry to say. It needs a good scrubbing from top to bottom and then a new team to maintain. I know gyms smell but this one is revolting, it makes you queasy when you enter. The machines are not very well kept, a lot of the buttons don't work, etc. But the cleanliness is the biggest problem. If it were my business, I'd be asking some serious questions.

Terrible gym although cheap. No one re-racks their weights, staff doesn’t do it either. They hit you with an annual fee, which is for some reason not included in an annual amount you pay when you sign up and…comes in first month. Some equipment doesn’t work and all is ancient. Things look dirty/unkept too.

This place is really well kept. The staff is always helpful. There is plenty of parking everyday. If you didn’t know already it’s gotta be the least expensive gym around. The equipment is plentiful. I love the pool and hot tub. The staff do a great job keeping the place running smoothly:

There is an absolute insistence on permanently displaying Fox News on the farthest TV above the squat rack. Don’t know if this is due to management, ownership, or a member but I have asked and changed the channel to something else numerous times. Many people ask to change it as well but if you do, rest assured the channel will be back to Fox News the next day. If you’re going to show a biased politically right news station, show an equally biased politically left leaning station on the tv next to it. Better yet, don’t show a biased news station at all since the point of a health club is to be working out, getting rid of stress - not adding to it.

Ellie is amazing! As my trainer from day one she has been bringing new and challenging exercises to me and constantly listening to what I want and exceeding my expectations with the creativity and focus on different lifts. I've had a trainer before but she is the best.. committed, personable, and creative. I'm older than her (and have been lifting longer) but she doesn't fail to impress me. Great job Ellie!

It’s not the greatest gym in the world - occasionally machines will be broken - but I’ve been coming here for about 3 months now and this is a perfectly acceptable gym. It’s not too packed - has decent bench / machine offerings, and is kept relatively clean

This is certainly by far my absolute favorite gym to go to out of the entirety of 24 hour fitness's as they maintain the place very well, aside from the mold in the men's bathroom (outside the shower on ceiling ) they have a basketball court (all the community balls are poor so bring one of better quality) they have decent showers, lots of the lockers are locked open strange enough so you'll have to use your own in the locker rooms or your car. And nice enough people. ALSO THEYRE OPEN FOR 24/7 FOR REAL

Great facility but would be 5 stars if they had a water bottle filling fountain. Please get one, pretty please.

This is a decent facility with some great instructors! Bodybalance by Whitney is one of my recent favorites, the instructors are amazing and often walk through each pose very carefully even providing alternatives to each pose for beginners like me. Yoga, zumba are also fun classes!

Avoid this gym! I quit this place over six months ago when we moved to AZ and realized they continued to charge my card. Despite numerous calls and speaking to Collin who is the worst excuse for a manager, they have done nothing to credit me back. In my effort to correct this wrong billing, I experienced a staff and manager that simply don’t care or even make an effort to correct their mistake. There are better gyms in the area and I’d encourage anyone considering this one to turn and run.

It annoys me how low this gym is reviewed. I’ve moved around a lot over the years and this is the best gym I’ve been to in all my travels! It’s super clean, the staff is friendly, and if you get a membership on special… $240 for 15 months? I can’t even go to dinner around here anymore for less than that! It’s worth it. Check it out! Also, for my Chuze Fitness (Denver) enthusiasts - they have FOUR of the Lateral X cardio machines we love!

This is a good gym. My biggest complaint is that the free weight plates are in weird denominations. They have a bunch of 35 lb plates but no 10s. Pretty inconvenient. They also have only one leg press machine for the whole gym. Otherwise, I recommend it.

Switched over from LA, and I can safely say it’s been the perfect change. Plenty of space, great staff, and enough equipment during those rush hour workouts.
