Station was full of resources but no vendor is ready to give Bill for food items. Water coolers are present. This station is one of big railway junctions of Indian Railway. Plateforms are not clean at all. Within every 30 steps you can find water on the floor. People are not bothered about waste. They were throwing garbage here and there.

I went to UP so this station was a pit stop For that express train Here's you can get everything But the toilets here was not good So don't use it here Better try outside I think railways should concentrate more on Cleanliness, It's obviously tuff I know But if they thought they can Becoz they are great.

Gyspy will drop you on the entrance gate. You have to walk for 1km some straight track and around 500 stairs going down to jatashankar temple. If you really want to enjoy then hire a guide for 100Rs on the entry gate. On the way you will find lot of small shops selling herbal and Ayurvedic products. We bought natural honey.

Itarsi junction is having average to good facilities like Wheelchair, 2 over bridge, 7 platform, RPF post etc. Many food stalls and private vendor available but food not upto mark not much hygiene . Itarsi is a key hub for agricultural goods and is the biggest railway junction in Madhya Pradesh. Rail services from all 4 major metropolitan cities of India namely Mumbai to Kolkata and Delhi to Chennai pass through Itarsi. Itarsi has large number of agro-based industries and warehouses .

Very well maintained station clean and clear . But when I visited there is many tap for water but not a single tap is working. Rest station is new and perfect

Railway Station!! Where many people from different places are reaching out and traveling, I think rail travel is the best trip yet.. Because, you see different people with a different religion, where somebody can be nice and chatty and usually most of them were introverted to enjoy their own trip.. While traveling for 23 Hours each stop , each station that lasts for a long time ,changing state to state I saw different people with different kind of perspective.. But anyway everything is fantastic.. I want to explore more and more.. ;)

If we compare with the numbers of trains stop at ITARSI. The facility is not up to the mark. I visited there while rainy season, I saw waterlogged at platform. Ticket counter area is filled with those who are not a traveller. Meanwhile Police come and remove those people. Electricity backup is not good, while I was waiting for train GOA EXPRESS, Power cut was there and power came back after 5 min that time entire station was under darkness.

The station is not in a good condition. It has a very bad smell here on every platform . And the washroom is very bad. you can't even imagine using these facilities here. When you reach there it will be very hard to transfer between platforms because lifts do not work . Overall the station needs modification in everything. Worst experience.

Behaviour and services of railway employees are good. Cleanliness and toilet/washroom facilities is not good. There are many cows wondering in stairs and on railway track and platform also, it is very dangerous for passanger and not secure to animals.
