Our stay at Hampton was fabulous. Clean and quiet rooms Breakfast was delicious, had variety, and lots of healthy options.I really liked the positive messages in the breakfast room. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed communicating to Jenny my reason for my stay! Thank you so much for the tips and guide on what to check out at Ithaca. I really appreciate, Caleb the Manager that he took the time to accommodated our stay to meet our needs.

WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE! The Hampton Inn Ithaca was one fo the worst hotel experiences of my life. First of all, this place claims to be pet friendly, but they charged me a $100 non-refundable pet fee for my emotional support pet. You are also not allowed to leave your pet unattended in the room at any time. Doesn't seem very pet friendly to me. Furthermore, the rooms were disgusting. The bathrooms and surfaces had clearly not been cleaned and there was trash under the couch. We had them move us to a different room, but the new room was just as dirty. The pool was also closed, which was a bummer, but the hotel staff said not to use the jacuzzi either because the filters circulated fecal matter and they could not do anything about it. We tried to watch TV in our hotel room in the evening, but they do not provide Netflix or anything and the TV channels all were picking up a lot of static to the point where it was difficult to watch anything. The hotel is also supposed to offer free breakfast, which I guess they do if you consider a waffle maker and some sausages breakfast. The spread was severely lacking any substance or effort. The hotel staff also was not very friendly or helpful. We didn't have very high expectations for this hotel, but it still managed to disappoint. The Hampton Inn Ithaca basically ruined our weekend trip. The conditions were worse than most motels. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

Clean, safe, and definitely McHotel (which there’s nothing wrong with per se) but I cannot in good conscience give anything above 2 stars to a hotel with such hideous beds. Unyielding and stiff; I got maybe 2 1/2 hours of sleep each night. Very disappointing experience for a chain I remember fondly for reasonably priced comfort back in my regular work travel days. If this was representative of the current chain it’s the last time I’ll book at a Hampton; a hotel you can’t actual get rest at is useless.

The staff are friendly and warm welcoming. Pat and Monica from the breakfast area were great. Good complimentary breakfast. The only issue was the cleanliness of the room. We stayed as a family for 8 days and despite 2 requests to have the room clean, the room was never clean or changed. The staff came in to bring towels, walked into the desk area, took the tip but did not clean the room or the bathroom. The common area on our floor also needed to be vacuumed and it did not happen for the week we stayed. Other than cleanliness, the Hotel is in a nice location, with staff at the front desk and breakfast are with great costumer services skills.

The hotel is fairly new (I remember when it used to be a movie theater and parking lot). It is located in a convenient location. Great staff and super clean overall.

Nice hotel, but overpriced: Staff very nice, rooms spotless and clean, but could use more light. Walk just a block to a convenience store and nail salon. Front desk has a useful restaurant list.

Very nice accommodations with a great breakfast buffet. Pat, the breakfast host, was so friendly and generous with her recommendations of nearby places to visit. She was delightful!

Very mediocre hotel and way over priced. Rooms were decent and staff was very friendly, so not a bad experience, but the price for a room was just way more than the quality of this hotel.

I honestly just stopped in to use the lobby rest room.. there was no toilet paper, no tissues and no paper towels.. it was not like the ones I stayed in before.. quite bizarre.

Stayed at this hotel during a recent visit to Ithaca and will NOT recommend to anyone looking for a decent place to stay. Here are few reasons why (not exhaustive): First of all the hotel appears to be be in a complete state of disrepair and in urgent need of updates, broken fixtures, dirty carpets, musky smelling rooms and hallways, ancient TVs that don't work etc. The hotel looks and operates like a motel but charges exorbitant hotel prices... Second, during my stay requests to fix essential broken items were mostly ignored. The toilet in my room did not flush during my entire stay and I made multiple requests to have it fixed but that never got done. Third, made requests to have my room cleaned but that never happened either Fourth, was billed a different amount than what was shown on my reservation. Tried to get the hotel to fix it by calling and emailing the manager. To date haven't received a callback from the manager or a response to my email. The only positive side to this hotel is the staff. With the exception of a few unpleasant staff, many were really nice, pleasant to speak with and were happy to help as much as they could. My two cents, you are better of spending your money on another hotel where you will get value for your money and be treated with respect. Just look at recent reviews about the hotel and you will see exactly what I am talking about. I ignored those reviews and paid the price for it.

The hotel is showing signs of age. But the floor i was on was being renovated. Maybe it'll look nicer on a future trip. The staff and friendly and amazingly helpful, even the overnight crew. Standard Hampton Inn breakfast fare. But three waffle batter was different every morning, which was nice. Standard vanilla and a flavor - banana nut and blueberry when we stayed. It's towards the end of Elmira Rd so you need to drive through all the shopping traffic and congestion. But there's plenty of restaurants around. Wegmans is right down the road and there's a microwave and fridge in the room.

The room was clean and certainly large enough for 2 people and a dog. A/C was strong. The water pressure in the shower/bathroom sink was very strong. The mattress was very comfortable. We had a room right on the 1st floor, next to an exit, and that was most convenient with a dog. Did not partake in the pool, breakfast, gym so I can't comment on them. One bad thing: the refrigerator was turned up to the highest setting, unbeknownst to us. As such, food we put in there was frozen the next morning and unedible. A learning lesson for me to always check a fridge going forward. Great location: minutes from Ithaca Commons, Buttermilk, Robert E Tremen, Taughannock, Wegmans.

A good place to stay on the outskirts of Ithaca. Decent included breakfast with very friendly staff. Check-in and check out was very quick. Located walking distance from a few restaurants and fast food places, and near many places to shop.

Our family stayed at the Ithaca Hampton Inn for 3 nights in 2 rooms with our greyhound. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast selections were varied with hot and cold foods and just what we needed to start our days. The staff was professional and friendly. The foldup bag I couldn't find and thought I left at home apparently fell behind something because it was found after we checked out. About an hour after we left, I got a call from the hotel asking if I'd like the bag mailed. I gave them the CVV of the credit card they had on file and they sent it out the next day! Thank you so much!

Getting a room on the State Route side (Elmira Road) is not recommended. A lot of traffic till late at night and starting again, very early in the morning. Hotel, otherwise, is great 👍🏻

I have shared my experience with the hotel with details of things that need to be improved. From vent cleaning or replacing/ cleaning carpet.

This hotel has excellent parking, very comfortable beds, helpful staff, and the complimentary breakfast was well- stocked. Pat was extremely helpful and attentive in the breakfast area. She make our experience top-notch. The whole hotel was clean and secure and we felt very safe. The complimentary cookies, fully stocked coffee area, and water bottles made us feel welcome.

Following up on my review from last night- Checking out this morning to check into a new location- The halls smell a lot like the air freshener they put in the men’s room. It’s a little bit overpowering. The bathtub had those stick on slip strips that were dirty- photo attached. The ceiling had substantial water damage that looked like rather than repair they just painted over Oh and unlike other Hilton locations- absolutely no artwork in the rooms- not even an extra roll of TP… literally as basic as it gets. And the grout and tile was visibly dirty and discolored. The breakfast was ok- a bit greasy but it was free and included. The manager- not terribly friendly and extremely stringent. Just not at all the caliber we expected.

I'm pretty loyal to the Hilton brand and this was the cheapest one in Ithaca so we stayed for a couple of days. Almost all Hilton's we stay at now have been remodeled fairly recently, but this one hasn't. It had everything we needed, it just wasn't the nicest.

My room wasn’t too clean. Floors seemed dirty, the chair had multiple brown stains, towels had yellow and brown marks, air conditioning was so loud, wifi was very slow, and the toilet was old and stained. But the breakfast was alright and the staff were nice.

Tried to leave a review, but got cut off. Not surprised, considering the EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY OF THIS OVERPRICED AND POORLY MAINTAINED SPACE. Some nerve charging over 300 a night for this place. Phone didn't work, TV reception was spotty AT BEST, room needed a good cleaning. Hilton should be embarrassed by this OVERPRICED excuse for a quality hotel.

First let me tell you that the staff team was awesome. If this comment was only about the desk staff or breakfast crew you’d get top marks. Peg answered my questions on the phone and remembered me at the property. But then this. Parking lots have to get surfaced and striped. I get that. But no advanced notice and more importantly no signage and conflicting no parking signs was not just inconvenient, it was unprofessional and it was easily avoided. Next was the room condition. It was just plain worn out. I can imagine that the owner or developer has put off upgrades. Why would they spend money that they can avoid? But seriously. A cracked lampshade and broken desk chair with holes is just plain lazy ownership or a failure to delegate authority and provide an AMEX card.

Just wanted to throw some advice out here. You don’t have to accept it, just think about it. When going and staying in a hotel, I specially if it’s your first stay at the specific location, make sure before you instantly start to notice anything that may be perceived as negative, pay attention to your surroundings, observe actions being taken by employees or managers, even feel free to ask questions. Because I’ve noticed something happening all to often, a hotel may be a really great hotel, that I’ve stayed at numerous times and it’s always been too notch just about. But the hotel still has to try and do repairs, refreshes and upgrades all while still accommodating guests. And they will see some things that are out of the ordinary but don’t realize it isn’t always like that, and they are actually upgrading the hotel in some fashion, yet they go straight and give the hotel a horrible review. And if you are a guide here on Google, I feel we owe it to the consumers we are attempting to guide, a thorough and honest review. Usually I try to make more then one visit to a place before I add my opinion on how the company is as a whole. Because catching a company off guard on one bad day, and then putting a review out in the world that may not paint them in the picture that they actually are is an injustice in my own opinion. You should visit and it be negative consistently . Hope this will help some become better guides. Hope you all have a good Sunday, and guide on!

Beds were VERY uncomfortable. Shower curtain had dirty hand prints and used bar of soap in vanity soap dish. Warren was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. But the beds sucked and that’s what hotels are for- sleeping, which was impossible

HORRIBLE! Never again! We waited over 3 hours to check into our room even though we did online checkin. The hotel was less than accommodating. The concierge at the front desk didn’t offer any conveniences and was dismissive of our situation. I called around 6pm to ask if our room was ready and was told 15-20 minutes. I was then directed to someone else who tried to sell me some kind of timeshare. They did not try to help me with my immediate problem, THEY TRIED TO SELL ME SOMETHING ELSE INSTEAD!!! Then, they overcharged me for my stay by $60 for one night!! I couldn’t believe I called for help and they charged me more and tried to sell me something else!!! I should’ve gotten a discount, not an increase in my 1 night stay. I finally got my room at 6:20pm - 3 hrs and 20 minutes after my 3pm checkin!!! Outrageous. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Poor in administration. Computer was not working when we checked in at late night. Breakfast was good. I find swimming pools in such hotels but no changing rooms or showers for cleaning before and after bath. Going to fourth floor with wet costume is awful.

I had to stay here on short notice due to an incoming snow storm, and I didn't want to have to drive home after work. I found the staff to all be very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had many accommodations for a great price.
