First visit on June 6, 2021. It was still a little early for the hydrangeas to be in full bloom, so I think this weekend will be the best time to see them. However, it was beautiful. It was my first time to see so many hydrangeas planted in such a large area. By the way, this time I parked my car in a parking lot near Musashi-Itsukaichi Station and entered Mt. Hydrangea via the summit of Mt. Konpira from there. It was a nice light hike.

Overall, it's a spot that people say ``I want to go to at least once!'' and ``Going once is enough!'' This year, for the first time in a while since the coronavirus pandemic, it is now OK to go mountain climbing. Arrive by shuttle bus from Musashi-Itsukaichi Station for about 15 minutes. After paying the entrance fee, you will be immediately greeted at the entrance of Mt. Hydrangea. Immediately you will be greeted by a steep slope. For people who are not used to walking often Some people may feel like they're about to break. But it's only hard at the beginning, after climbing for a while The terrain will become flat. There are many beautiful hydrangeas along the way. The location in the mountain forest brings out the hydrangea again. It would have been great if it had been sunny and the sun was shining through the trees. A beautiful river is flowing slowly Is it because of my mind that I feel a rush of negative ions? If you look closely, you can see small fish swimming around. I'm surprised that they manage so many hydrangeas. Hydrangeas bloom in a beautiful gradation from red to blue to purple. Please come and see it with your own eyes.

Minamisawa Hydrangea Mountain in Itsukaichi, a hometown, is a famous hydrangea spot in Akiruno City. There are approximately 10,000 hydrangeas growing in the mountains of the natural forest. When I visited for the first time in a year, the hydrangea forest had expanded further. The purpose of my visit today was to take pictures with my single-lens reflex camera, but in the evening and night, tourists were already leaving, so I had a very relaxing and luxurious time in the quiet, deserted forest. I was able to spend some time there. Starting this year, a shuttle bus will be running approximately once an hour from Itsukaichi Station. The founder of Hydrangea Mountain, Chuichi Minamisawa, departed for heaven in July 2023. He passed away at the age of 92. Check out this year's hydrangea mountains From now on, it will be protected by young people who have inherited the will.

This was very nice and there were plenty of hydrangeas. The mountain is not very steep so it was fairly easy to climb. Please keep in mind that there is no parking here. Take the shuttle bus from Itsukaichi Station or park at the station and take the shuttle bus. I don’t recommend walking though but I do recommend doing this place and wonderful nature village in the same day. They both have hydrangeas and are near each other.

Although it's not easy to come here, it's more beautiful than I expected. The touching story behind it makes it even more heaven-like. I enjoyed it very much and thank you for your effort to build the place.

I went first thing in the morning on weekdays and in the afternoon on weekends. Even though I moved to Musashi-Itsukaichi Station, it would be a nuisance if I went there by car, so I went by taxi or hiking. But...it's definitely a place you'll want to visit at least once in your life. I went there with heavy footwear, but my girlfriend was wearing a dress and pumps (lol), but no, I kept telling her to take good care of her feet...(lol) It's a really beautiful place. Thank you for continuing to make it. I think even students in the upper grades of elementary school can go there. Even the elderly madams were walking around admiring the place!
