I went there to dye my eye-brows. Firstly, they are very poor in English and they did not try to reassure what I want. I showed them my hair color and ask them specifically to make my eye-brows the same color. I tried my best to make them understand what I want and they seemed to understand. She said it is going to be 8 Euros. When she wanted to start dying my eye-brow, again I told her that the color you are using is too dark for my eye-brow and I want it to be lighter. She said no, I will not! That would not work! After everything was done, I look at my eye-brows, and it was darker than before! I said what the hell is this? I asked for it to be lighter! You have messed it up! Then, she had the odacity to ask for 18 Euros! I said firstly, you messed up and I shouldnt pay a dime, secondly, you said 8 in the beginning, now you are saying 18?! She accused me of lying, saying that you have told me to make it darker! Overall, it was one of the worst experiences I had in a beauty salon and I would not recommend this place for anything, as they are rude, unprofessional, and most of all non-trustworthy.. DO NOT PUT YOUR BEAUTY AND TRUST IN THEIR INCOMPETENT HANDS!

Superficial nail manicure, they do not insist on the cuticles, the shape not perfect. I did only classic manicure and epilation and I was not impressed. I found another place in Jette that is better

A ripoff. Charged extra, different prices online and at shop. Service for my fingers and the nail polish was damaged already by the time I left the place.

READ BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BOOK AT THIS SCAM MACHINE! If I could I would give zero stars… I booked via Treatwell a pack as hybrid manicure and pedicure. Let’s start with the fact that the salon cancelled my appointment after I walked out so that I can’t give them a bad review on the website. Anyway… The lady started doing my nails with a normal polish. She said that this is what hybrid is - which is not. She insisted. The tools were not desinfected. My varnish is peeling off after less than 3 hours. The treatment was supposed to last 1,5h and it was done after 40 minutes. I paid 60e for a treatment that I could have well done myself at home! SHAME ON YOU FOR SCAMMING PEOPLE!!! I will never come in again and you shouldn’t either. Money scam is all this salon represents!

Really good hairdresser. Great service.I totally recommend Mel. She listens to you and you see how she tries to do her best at her job. It is not easy to find hairdressers like this. She gave me a haircut adapting to my kind of hair. She is the kind of hairdresser you will definitely go back. Furthermore, it is good value for money. It is an affordable and reasonable price for a great haircut. As for the place, the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. It was my first time and I am definitely coming back! Thank you!

I went there for removing my gel nails . I payed 20 euros for taking them of and a manicure. The stylist was hurting my real nails the whole time , she cut them really bad for a nailstylist and the 'manicure ' was her only applying a weird oil on my hands. She completely destroyed the top layer of my nails and she didn't even cleaned them. When I walked out of there I was crying so bad because this wasn't normal but I was to shy to then say something (I realized how bad it actually was when all my friends said that it was a crime for them to ask me to pay for the service). Right after my appointment I wanted to write a review on treathwell (because I made my appointment there) . But when I got home I saw they 'cancelled' my appointment . If they do that you can't write a review anymore because you are only allowed to do so if u went to the salon. It's been 2 months and my nails haven't recovered yet . The nail where she took them of has little dents in them and they have a more red color which just looks irritated . It's really sad because I still can't grow them because all of the old nail is to fragile to grow and breaks immediatly . I will never ever go here again

i was confused about the appointment hour as they don’t speak English. I received messages saying “don’t ever make an appointment here”. Even after this I apologised because its my mistake partly to not speak French. I got a dry reply. A very strange way of communicating and not acceptable for long-term relationship with client, I’m very sorry to say!

Great place because of Sonja that does an amazing job, is friendly, great to chat to and knows how to treat a client! Nevertheless I also had a moment with another lady when I went to do my gel nails and it was rather sloppy and not quite professional, therefore, -1 star for this and -1 another star because of the place that could be improved (cleaning/relaxation).

Update after 2 years: I still come at the Ixelles location. They moved to a new location which is spacious, calm in colours and very clean. I come for a sugar waxing with a super sensitive skin and a haircut for very thin straight (difficult) hair. I'm always very pleased with the results and the customer service. Overall, the prices are really fair. I've read some of the negative reviews as I was reviewing my own review. Most of them are English speaking, probably expats. In all fairness, Belgium standards in general aren't as high as in some other parts of the world and the price for services way more expensive than surrounding countries. You should probably let go of some of those "perfectionalist" expectations, for everywhere you'll go in Brussels or you will become very unhappy. Taking this in consideration, I live here 8 years, and this beauty salon is doing really good compared to many other salons I have tried here over the past years. They listen to your needs, also in basic English (more than in other salons) and they take their time for you. They have good hygiene and they managed to build a very loyal clientèle, which is important for me as a customer as well, as they are trustworthy. For me they remain a lovely 4 star, only because the 5 star is reserved for my "perfect experience" from my home country (which BTW would have been easily double of the price I pay now). If I didn't had this experience, and compare only to Brussels' experiences, I'd give them a 5 star. Old review: The interior seems a bit small, packed and too colourful for my taste, didn't know what to expect. But the treatment was perfect! Sonja took great care of me. Only natural products and great attention for the skin and after treatment. The prices are also very fair. I'll definitely come back for quality care.
