How in the world this shop doesn't have 5 stars. Come on people. One of the best in Brussels. It tops almost all the list in any internet blogs you may visit for the top10 Frites in Belgium and it deserves it. Taste is very crispy on the outside. Lots of place to sit with your friends outside to have this snack. See my pics. They also have chicken or meat if you want to have it together. Plenty of sauce to choose from. There is always a queue building up. If you like Frites it is a must visit.

Very friendly and uncomplicated service. They took their time to explain to me, a complete newby to Belgium fries, all the different sauces and different fried side dishes. It is crazy, I am still amazed at the variety. Even though it is so highly esteemed and always full of people, the prices are like any other fries place in Brussels. I can totally recommend going there.

This place is in a cool and happening area in Flagey. This is one of my best fries places in Brussels. The fries are fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. It's excellent! They have a good selection of sauce as well. They also offer other snacks and quick bites. The staff are warm and hospitable. They speak very good English and also Dutch. Compliment to their efforts! They really make you feel welcome. They accept both cards and cash which is quite handy. The only downside of this place is sometimes the queue can be quite long.

It's one of the better fry shops in Brussels. It has a cult-like following that will swear it's the best, for good reason. If you are able to catch the fry place without a queue then it is definitely worth it. Though, if the queue is long, I am not sure if I'd wait more than 5 minutes for them. I liked the more humorous nature of the fry shop, making it whimsical.

One of the best places to get real good fries in Brussels. Far better than "Jourdan" that is supposed to be the best... in your dreams...

The fries are really good! Super crunchy like chips on outside, and mushy hot inside, absolutely worth it. Took the "small" pack and was almost full, considering it's 2.80 eu for it, it's absolutely worth it! Larger pack is something like 3.60, would be good for 2 people. Sauce is 0.80 and there's over 10 types of them. A must visit spot for the famous Belgium fries, just be aware you may find a large line to it.

Many people say this is the best fries shop in Brussels. The fries are pretty good most of the time, but they are always served yellow and midway cooked, which I'm not fond of. Also there's always a long (about 10 people) waiting line pretty much every time of the day. Finally the portions are a bit small for the price.

I heard that this is the best fries in Belgium? I never really expected to try I thought it was kinda out of the way but I didn't expect it to be so near the plaza where I alighted when I visited Ixelles. The queue was quite long but was efficient as they were prepared quite fast. My impression of people selling fries in Belgium is not so good because I see a lot of fries already cooked so I have an impression the fries served is not hot but it turns out otherwise. As usual this is one of the other fries place I tried and the fries are hot and good. I asked the guy to recommend me a sauce and he just told me to pick 1 of their 17 sauces. Not a pleasant answer but I chose the curry sauce. Turned out it was a good dip with the fries. I don't know how did it become the best fries I thought it was pretty good and quite similar to the other fries I have tasted. Recommended if you happen to be in Ixelles area.

Very nice Belgian Fries and a rich selection of tasty sauces. One of the best (but for me not the best) in town. Fair prices.

One of the best fries i ever had!! Highly recommend to get the samurai sauce! Soo sooo tasty and a little spicy too!

Probably the best fries I had all week in town, which is saying something because we literally had fries every day and it's always good. The samurai sauce was excellent. We were there late on a weeknight so no lineup. Fair prices and fast service.

Friendly service. First time I ever tried famous Belgian fries, they were good and portion was huge, even I took small ones. Didn't have To eat anything else for all Day. A bit salty and greasy, but hey, they are fries you can't expect healty food, then you go To salad bar.

Definitely would not call these the best fries in Belgium, but they were nevertheless good.

The place is really nice to have fries. The fries were crispy, cheaper than the outlets near Grand Place. Large fries are only 3.2 euros plus 0.8 euro for the dips. Overall I will highly recommend this place.

Large fries and cold cervelas without skin as ordered. Great except for the too numerous fried nibbles and too much mustard on the fries, making it difficult to eat without having mustard all over my fingers.

Tasty real Belgian fries 🍟 - crispy outside, smooth inside. Large portions, great sauces. Kind of hidden gem: good as other fries in Brussel but waiting time is way shorter.

Potato chips shop offering a range of sauces. Friendly and engaging service, staff was happy to recommend popular choices, and so I got to try the "Brazil" which I really enjoyed. Can't say the chips themselves were the best but definitely good quality and well fried, wasn't too oily. Definitely give these a go if you're in the area.

Forget about Jourdan, Flagey is the true place for Belgian Fries experience. Perfect cooking, good selection of sides and very kind staff

Always with a big queue, but totally worth it! Fries have the perfect ratio of crispyness outside and softness inside. Simply amazing!

The chips are excellent, very crispy but we didn't like the curry sauce - we'd recommend samurai but there's so many to choose from! At the time of writing this, a large portion was €3.10 and a small was €2.80...

Best fries in town. Period. Feel free to compare it with anywhere else, but this one is just really really good. The place is also really close with the bus stop, so you can stop here to buy the fries, then hop back in to whichever area you want to go to

The best frites I’ve had in Belgium. I’ve gone several times and it never fails to live up to expectation. I’ve been to a lot of friteries, but this is easily the most consistent and overdelivers on its shabby shack exterior with quality frites.

  • 5/5 Gabriel B. 1 year ago on Google
Possibly the best fries I've had in Brussels.

One of the best places to get fries in the city. So fresh and tasty, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside with the whole variety of sauces and other fried foods to have. Personally, it has the best fries I ever had. Highly recommended!
