👍👍 Great place for architecture lovers and people willing to understand their surroundings when they walk in Belgium's streets. Except the gallery, there's also a kids place, sadly only in French and Flemish, that is very suitable for adults too as it goes deeper in the explanation of the different key... People often mention architecture, exhibition,

Good place with very interesting subjects and a good part for kids but it is a Shane that workshops for kids are only during holidays and not in the weekend...

I was there in between exhibitions, but still had a great time watching the permanent exhibition for Kids about Art Nouveu and Art Deco. If you know French or Dutch there is even more for you than there was for me. The place is really children-friendly, because there are a lot of things to touch, match or just sort. There was also a workshop room where kids probably draw and/or make their own dream houses, but I do not know how that works, cuz it was not relevant for me. Btw entrance was FREE of charge.

The foundation has a fundamental role in preserving Brussels' architecture. It's space and community character are essential to understand what liaises Brussels' people and buildings. As with other foundations, and unlike other foundations, expect accessible prices and free exhibitions.

Congo exhibition was disappointing. Little context. A patchwork without real integration work...

Nice museum with an exhibition both from archaives and contemporary art pices on a very important topic. Their art book shop is also worth to check out!

If you want to explore history of Brussels’ architecture, more particularly Art Noveau and Deco visit this museum. After it you can go to see those buildings by yourself how they look in real life. You will have much better overall picture. It’s fairly small museum. It also has some interesting exhibitions.

CIVA is a fantastic resource not just for architects but for anyone with any interest in architecture and urban planning. It has a great bookshop. The new exhibition (January 2020) 'Architects at Play' is brilliant. Profound without being drily intellectual. Inspiring!

Nice museum, but sometimes the info is not clear due to the texts being very weirdly written.

Great museum, a lot more than expected from the “designed landscapes” exposition. Friendly & helpfull staff.
