A
clean,
basic
gym
with
friendly
staff
that
pretty
much
has
everything
you
need
for
a
great
monthly
price.
Great
value
for
money.
The
good:
-Low
price
-Good
location
-Friendly,
helpful
staff
-Clean
space
with
equipment
that
is
in
good
working
order.
The
bad:
-No
power
rack
and
not
enough
squat
racks.
-No
showers
or
locker
rooms
for
changing.
You
have
to
use
the
toilets
which
might
be
even
more
dangerous
from
a
public
health
standpoint
than
allowing
the
use
of
the
locker
rooms.
-Gets
crowded
during
peak
times.
-Members
not
required
to
wear
masks.
Location:
5/5
Proximity
to
work,
home
and/or
public
transit
lines
is
important
for
many
people.
If
you
work
near
the
Quartier
Européen,
then
you
can't
really
beat
this
location.
It's
about
20
m
from
the
entrance
to
Porte
de
Namur
metro
station,
so
you
can
easily
stop
on
your
way
to
or
from
the
office.
The
current
lack
of
showers
and
locker
room
facilities
makes
the
former
option
somewhat
less
appealing
for
most
people
though,
as
I
think
most
of
us
like
to
shower
after
our
workouts.
Hopefully
they
will
be
able
to
find
a
solution
to
this.
Perhaps
individual
cabins
that
are
disinfected
after
each
use?
I'd
easily
pay
3
-
5
€
per
shower
if
they
made
them
available.
Cleanliness:
4/5
Unlike
other
clubs
in
the
same
price
range
that
I
won't
name
here,
JIMS
takes
cleanliness
seriously.
Everything
is
disinfected
every
two
hours
and
nearly
all
weights
are
properly
racked
at
all
times.
However,
I
think
they
should
be
a
bit
more
strict
with
their
clients
about
proper
cleaning
of
the
equipment
before
and
after
use.
Some
more
signage
would
work
wonders--
maybe
something
with
a
cartoon
mascot
(Corona-Chan?)
so
it
really
catches
the
eye
and
helps
people
remember
to
do
their
part.
They
should
also
consider
placing
a
bottle
of
disinfectant
at
each
machine/station,
as
it
would
help
people
remember
that
they
need
to
do
the
old
spray
and
wipe
after
their
sets,
and
to
avoid
someone
using
equipment
before
the
previous
user
has
had
the
opportunity
to
clean
it.
I
watched
a
guy
today
start
using
a
bench
BEFORE
another
guy
could
come
back
with
the
paper
towels
and
disinfectant
to
wipe
it
down.
No
one's
fault
really.
If
you
see
free
equipment
and
no
one
is
around,
you
typically
go
ahead
and
use
it.
If
the
disinfectant
were
closer,
it
would
prevent
this
from
happening.
Friendliness
5/5
While
at
other
gyms
in
the
same
price
range
you
might
have
staff
that
are
unhelpful,
ineffective,
and
even
downright
rude
or
offensive,
JIMS
seems
to
have
created
an
environment
where
both
staff
AND
members
are
encouraged
to
be
friendly,
professional,
and
helpful.
On
my
first
visit,
there
was
a
problem
with
my
online
payment,
and
instead
of
being
turned
away,
I
was
still
given
my
membership
card
and
told
to
do
my
workout
and
that
we
could
sort
out
the
payment
issue
later
(it
sorted
itself
out
in
the
end).
Equipment
and
facilities
3/5
They
have
most
EVERYTHING
you
need
here,
but
one
thing
they
should
really
think
about
investing
in
is
a
power
rack
or
two.
Please,
please,
please
🙏
get
rid
of
the
Smith
machine
as
well
as
the
dozen
other
machines
that
are
essentially
useless.
There
are
fewer
people
using
machines
these
days,
so
they
should
really
embrace
the
trend
and
go
for
a
wider
selection
of
free
weights.
With
more
free
weights
and
functional
training
equipment
comes
the
opportunity
to
sell
more
private
and
group
training
sessions.
There's
no
pool
or
sauna
and
locker
rooms
are
currently
inaccessible
due
to
the
pandemic.
Even
if
things
get
back
to
normal,
I
don't
see
this
as
a
deal
breaker.
A
pool
is
nice,
but
it's
tougher
for
me
to
squeeze
in
a
good
swim
than
it
is
to
do
a
good
workout.
As
for
the
sauna,
it
might
be
a
very,
very
long
time
before
they
open
up
again
anywhere.
One
thing
I
found
strange
is
that
masks
are
not
required.
If
masks
are
necessary
in
stores
and
other
indoor
spaces,
shouldn't
they
be
required
in
a
gym,
where
people
are
breathing
and
coughing
even
more
and
in
even
closer
proximity?
