We were there on a Thursday evening. The restaurant doesn't show what it can do from the outside. Everything is modern inside. Toilets renovated and clean. There is a really great ballroom hidden inside. For food: I had pepper schnitzel. The schnitzel was nice and fresh and well fried. Sauce delicious. My wife had a schnitzel with asparagus. Both good portions. The food came quickly too. You can't say anything about the price. The two schnitzels + wheat and a large cola around €32. The owner served us himself and told us that he has had the shop for over 30 years. That speaks for itself. I liked the man, always with a good saying on his lips and straight forward (of course you have to be able to do it). So, I would like to go there again, and therefore my clear recommendation.

The service was friendly and quick as usual and the food (starter soup, Stella Maris and asparagus schnitzel, both with croquettes and salad) was very tasty. I was there for the first time today. And I'm thrilled. The food was simply great!! Rump steak with fries, pepper cream sauce and a side salad. The dessert, also very delicious!! (men's cream) It was really tasty! The service was super nice and polite and very attentive. I definitely say THANK YOU!!!

Food was sub par at best, maybe steaks are good but rest of the menu could do with an update since 80s Service was great, big thank you to the lady that served our group. She kept the good spirit. Cook was rude and disrespectful. Atmosphere was amazing, literally felt like I was taken back in time by at least 50 years, in both good and bad terms.

I've never been disappointed by this place. The food is delicious, and give excellent value for money. The beer is very good, too.

Friendly and reasonably quick service, easily found a parking place on the road, but the menu selection is very old-fashioned.

Erstmals da gewesen und muss sagen hervorragend, für eine gut bürgerliche Küche einfach top. Man muss heute zutage lange fahren um soetwas zu finden. Der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vom Essen her lecker und für einen Flattermann ( fettarm, was gut ist ) braucht man nicht ca 3 km weiter fahren....

Super leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung. Gerne wieder.
