Darbar Gadh at JAMNAGAR such a beautiful place which looks so amazing at night . A wholesale market in Jamnagar where you can buy clothes, utensils, spices, hardware, old things, beauty products, all households accessories, curtains, and many more. It is a heritage city and many of thr buildings seen here are very old. One of the oldest area of the city. Very beautiful old architectural buildings temples houses are available in some area. Darbargadh Palace is one of the most significant historical attractions in Jamnagar which served as the first royal residence of Jam Sahib. The construction of the palace was initially started in 1540 AD along with the construction of Jamnagar city but it went on intermittently leading to a final masterpiece of history. Many wholesaler dealers of Gujrat fame Bandhni cloth and dress material run their business from this place. Nearby masjid bazar area is great rushy place. It remains great choice of locals. You will love this place must visit

~Darbargadh Jamnagar is a hidden gem! This historical palace is a testament to the rich heritage of Jamnagar. The intricate architecture and vibrant colors transport you to a bygone era. Exploring the courtyards and halls felt like stepping back in time. ~Now it's converted into the police station.

It's home to different Sarees and vegetable and fruit shops. The vibrant place kind of gives a vintage vibe with all old buildings and chawls, but also chaotic and unhygienic, cows roaming freely.

A legendary place at the middle of Jamnagar, I am excited to be there. I purchased many traditional fashionware from the market. A very special textile process called "Bandhni" : fabric tied and dyed to create a unique look of the clothing is the heritage of the city.

At a distance of 5 km from Jamnagar Railway Station, Darbargadh is an old royal palace situated to the east of Chandi Bazaar in Jamnagar. It is one of the historical palaces in Gujarat and among the best Jamnagar tourist places. Darbargadh Palace is one of the most significant historical attractions in Jamnagar which served as the first royal residence of Jam Sahib. The construction of the palace was initially started in 1540 AD along with the construction of Jamnagar city but it went on intermittently leading to a final masterpiece of history.

Darbargadh is the very good place of Jamnagar City. There are many shops for shopping for everybody from small children to elders. This place is a very crowded place during the daytime. There are many popular shops near darbargadh. This place is related to the king dynasty Jamnagar. Really nice place to visit.

A wholesale market in Jamnagar where you can buy clothes, utensils, spices, hardware, old things, beauty products, all households accessories, curtains, and many more. It is a heritage city and many of thr buildings seen here are very old and beautiful. Also, it is a good place to explore the market vibe where you can go shopping with your family and loved ones. Many famous snacks are available which are situated near this place. You can ask the locals for this. Also near to this place there is a vegetable market where you can buy fresh and good fruits and veggies on daily basis and that too at a very cheaper rate as it is a wholesale market too.

An old historical structure... Not well maintained by the public.. Hawkers have made the place like junk yard.. but if maintained properly it can be turned into nice tourist attraction

It is good historic place bt nowadays hawkers made it suffocated. You can find many hawkers on all of the road side. The sellers of chana bateta, ghughra and samosa are also there you must try their favourite dish ghughra.

Historical building...worth visit...also Jamnagar's famous Bandhani Saree and Dress material is available in shops in and around Darbar Gadh...

  • 4/5 Aarcha P. 4 months ago on Google • 15 reviews
The place is one of the local markets of Jamnagar. On weekends not a lot of shops are open, especially Sunday evenings. On weekdays you can find almost anything and everything here in the market on cheap rates. The market is always super crowded and is difficult to navigate on 2 wheelers. Walking recommended.

Over-Crowded, over-hyped. This place is a mess. No rules, no guidelines, no traffic control, nothing. Most people came here for low-cost households but trust me you will still end up spending more money that too on low quality items. Good luck on your purchase 🤞

The resort is already very well known! So no need to clarify other things but can verify that it has very satisfied management team, very good food, very affordable pricings in restaurant as well in banquets and party plot too! And the location is also very convenient

It’s a historic building with nice hotel that is affordable to few and btw they have closed it by now. It is a building of erstwhile Morbi state and they still own it and it can be taken on rent for different occasions. It is a classic sand stone building with too much space and also requires very less maintenance. We can feel the nostalgia of living the royal life once we are inside. It’s a massive structure and adjoining to it is the hanging bridge which is open to public till 5 in the evening at max. It’s a romantic experience to walk on the hanging bridge and it’s British engineering. So all in all it’s a nice place.

Congested old place best known for Bandini sarees. Best visited during afternoon to avoid crowd

  • 3/5 Pragz & J. 1 year ago on Google
As it is very oldest area itz very congested. Always crowdy as thr lot of shops, roadside sellers etc.. I'd not recommend for 4-wheelers as it is vry difficult to go through this crowdy area... Also for 2-wheelers make sure you're on the correct road as itz one way in some of roads & Traffic police is always ready for chalan 😜
