Went for the second time and the food was good. Hot butter cuttlefish, cuttlefish in tamarind sauce, Indonesian style fish and garlic rice was good. Only thing I didn’t like too much were the cheesy wedges as they had just put a bit of Parmesan on top where I was expecting some thick melted cheese. Staff are friendly and polite. One bad thing I noticed was some of the staff members were trying to hit or throw stones at the dogs who were coming from the beach side, which wasn’t a pleasant site considering you’re promoting your place as a pet friendly hotel.

This sea food restaurant is located inside the Pegasus Reef hotel which is main hotel in Wattala area. There is a big parking area inside the hotel. Rarely you would find a nice place with a sea view in this area. But fishery is a Open air restaurant with a beautiful beach view. They have a open kitchen with freshly cooked foods. You can dine in and spend time with the beach wind. Atmosphere is good. They have a wide range of seafood dishes. But i don't recommend their mocktails and other drinks. It's better to try food with coke or sprite. Price range is considerably high. We tried fishery style spaghetti, yellow rice and hot battered mushroom. Hot battered mushroom dish was delicious. But i would say fishery style pasta would be better than spaghetti. Lobsters and prawns are included in the yellow rice. apart from all ,Customer care is worst.We had to wait for 40-30 mins after ordering food. Waiter was going here and there. Dine in area is small inside , coz half of the shop is for bar area. Recommended for seafood lovers. But pay attention for the above matters!

•Food - One of the best foods that I have tried. Main dishes are freshly prepared according to your choice. Chef Jayawardena Rajapaksha helped us to choose what is good on the menu and specially made an omelette for our baby boy. We ordered two chicken breast that came with mashed potatoes and french fries. Modha fish batter fried and a Thai crab omelette for the baby. The food was too much for three people so we had to pack it up the left overs and come. Excellent food presentation and very good in taste. •Atmosphere - We sat near the kitchen so it was a bit hot at that time. Other than that it was okay.

Pegasus hotel has upped their game with this fine restaurant. No matter where you take a seat, you have a good view of the surrounding and the upper deck view is even better with the colombo port in the far corner. The food dishes are amazing and the prices are very considerate. Attempted the sea food platter with some wine and it was one of the best versions so far. The Penne dish was also delicious. Customer service was really good from both the manager and the staff. Would recommend for a calm dine in with friends and family by the beach.

Fishery is one of unique restaurant which is specialized for seafood. They offer wide range of seafood collection. With having a great view and a great location fishery looks really great for relaxed dinner. With a pool view and the sea view it is indeed a nice restaurant. Great place for a small family dinner.

The sea food here is amazing. Beutiful view, you can enjoy the beach and the swimming pool. I think probably the best meal i had in sri lanka. Its inside the Pegasus Reef hotel. The sea food here is fresh, sushi is very good aswell. Not so expensive aswell. Service was very good

Extremely amazing restaurant for seafood lovers. Food is clean and fresh. Nice and clam ambiance. Excellent service by all staff. Food is tasty. All over the prices are reasonable. There are strict health regulations at the entrance which is bit annoying to some people, but overall experience was superb.

Today I visited 'The Fishery Restaurant' for lunch. We were delighted by our main course: Risotto with seafood, fresh mushroom and parmesan cheese topped with peto oil & Seafood fried rice. We ordered 2 cocktails and hot butter cuttlefish as a side dish. The hot butter cuttlefish was spicy and extremely impressive with taste. Because of the brilliant atmosphere, delicious and price-worthy food, friendly service of waiters, I highly recommend going to "The Fishery Restaurant".

What a pleasant evening. The fishery is beautifully set and features a menu of brilliant foot. The baked crab with hollandaise sauce was my personal favourite. The staff were lovely and attentative and very well mannered. Overall a calming and serene dinner in a wonderful place.

We stayed at the Pegasus reef hotel for two days and ate in the fishery sea food restaurant for lunch and dinner on both days . The food and service were amazing- especially the lagoon prawns, shoe lobster and local tuna. Can’t more highly recommend. Service from Salu and his team was second to none

Fishery is a seafood resturent inside the pegusus reef hotel. They have a beautiful sea view with nice environment. They have many kinds of seafood. You can get the experience of fresh sea food which is cook right infron of you. You can select freshly catched fish , prawns , cuttlefish, lobster and crab from their showcase to cook. We ordered yellow rice ( prawns and lobster included) for 2200/=. It can serve 2 person, prawns pasta for 1100/= and Hot butter mushroom for 550/=. Which was very delicious.I don't recommand their mocktails and lime juice. Coke and sprite is much better with their seafood meals. You can reserve tables by calling them. But the communication is not good. We had to call more than 6 times to make our reservation. I will add our bill to the photos. So you guys can get a clear idea about thei charges and taxes before go there. Can recommend. If you are looking for cheap. This is not the place for you.

Hidden gem at Pegasus Reef hotel. A weigh and cook seafood concept similar to what you see at Mount Lavinia hotel and the lagoon at cinnamon grand. Much lower prices than its rivals however. We tried the prawn and the salmon. The salmon was decent but the prawns were the real star. Just grilled to perfection with two mild sauces

I visited here for a personal purpose and I got there only to the counter. Beyond that I didn't move inside the outlet and I only stayed there for about 1 hour at outside. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received during that time. This outlet is located in a very beautiful environment with sea side and the surrounding environment is maintained and maintained in an eye-catching manner. I highly recommend this place.

Great environment beside the ocean, amazing live music (sax). The sea food was good but small portioned except the coconut/date desert with ice cream which was large and delicious. Server was very pleasant, professional and developing his multitasking skills.

We had great time in The restaurant. Chiefs Asanka, Ashen, Shiva And Ruvindu prepared delicious snapper for us! I also recommend octopus in white winę sause and laksa. Biggest surprise - garlic kaprun. You have to try this!

Super tasty food at a very reasonable price, great service as well, the staff was kind to us and served the food in a timely manner. We had the grilled lemon sole with garlic rice and grilled vegetables, and the spicy thai crab, pineapple and nuts fried rice. Highly recommend.

The food, staff and atmosphere were great! But we had to pay almost an additional 30% to the total because we were no guests in the hotel. For a bottle of wine, a shared seafood platter, 1 portion potatoes and 2 desserts we paid more than 27000 rupees which is 80 euro. So it was a good, but very expensive experience.

I have always enjoyed the service and good food at the restaurant.. however the recent visit was a pretty bad experience for me. they have not replenished the stock of beverages,the time taken for preparing food was much longer and the quality of the food was 2 out of 10.. I made a complaint on my way out.. I hope the management will look in to this.. time to look out for other options now..

The Fishery is located inside the beachfront hotel Pegasus Reef in Wattala and is one of the better seafood restaurants in Sri Lanka. The place offers a tropical ambience and is ideal for the beachfront property, albeit situated in a secluded neighborhood. The Fishery offers up a fusion of fresh seafood dishes from around the world (e.g., Seafood Paella, & Scallops with white wine Beurre Blanc). Diners get to select the ingredients from the fresh seafood kept on display at the restaurant. The food here is definitely worth the high price tag.

My first and last experience was the restaurant was not properly maintained, the Restroom experience was one of the worst, the second worst was the food, ordered Seafood Jambalaya and Thai Prawn Curry. Jambalaya was not hot , maybe it was precooked and heated up in the Microwave. Thai Prawn Curry , some of the Prawns were spoiled. After complaining offered another curry but we have had enough, paid total bill left a tip and walked out. We will never go to this restaurant again! Unfortunately we will not recommend this restaurant to any of our family members or to our friends.
