The interior decor was good. The food was of amazing taste and well presented. The food was excellent and mouthwatering taste. The service was fast & fantastic. Had palak papdi chaat which was outstanding and tasty. The menu is a rich array of traditional Indian cuisine, but mild enough for the Western palate. Compliments to the chef and all the staff for bringing us a little bit of India on a platter in a most spectacular fashion. Recommend for all types family, friends or as individual can go and relish the taste.

Went there today and noticed 2 cockroaches on our table, we shifted to another table immediately. After placing order, informed the waiter about the cockroach, the waiter never apologized or even acknowledged the incident. After a few minutes, we again noticed another cockroach coming out of their side station where the plates are kept, again I showed to another waiter, he killed it immediately and mentioned they recently did pest control (he also didn't apologize) while eating, another cockroach was seen on the wall coming towards where I was eating. I called another waiter and he killed it and casually ignored what I had to say. I would like to point out the manager Keerti who was on duty, never approached our table to acknowledge the incident, Noone apologized (I expected atleast the manager to do it, he never even came to the table even after the waiter telling him) the only thing good was the food and service was fast. I'm not trying to ridicule anyone but this needs to be addressed and your staff needs to get proper training given by a professional, how to handle such situations than just ignoring. Basic courtesy of checking back, how is everything, apologize when an issue keeps happening 4 times. I have also worked in hospitality industry for more than 10 years and this type of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. Hope the management would address this issue seriously and take the right action to prevent it from happening again. Thank you.

Although its portrayed more like a british indian cuisine, it was more conventional indian taste. Little mild on the spices though. However, taste is quite for most of the options we have tried. Service is also impressive with relatively average waiting. Ambiance and seating is spacious with decent distance from adjoining tables.

A nice quiet restaurant located at Dubai festival plaza near Ikea. The restaurant had a fair number of patrons on a Friday afternoon. The food options are plenty to choose from. Their mixed grill platter and Indian chaats are yumm ....as were their biryanis. Do give this place a try. 👍

I visited Peppermill for the first time last week. Since I was accompanied by a pure vegetarian friend we decided to order veg-only items. Hence we decided on ordering Paneer Kadhai, Sabz Biryani, and Dal Tadka. I don’t usually eat paneer, but my friends really wanted to order it, so silently I added Dal to the order so I could eat it instead (I was in for a great surprise) Below is product-wise review 1. Paneer Kadhai Like I said, I don’t eat paneer so it was my first time trying this Kadhai. And it definitely won’t be my last. The kadhai was amazing. So good that I ended up over-stuffing myself and had to literally ask my friends to have it removed from the table so that I’d stop eating. I’m definitely going back for more 2. Sabz Biryani I usually eat veg biryanis but this one was not my cup of tea. The essence of kewra was added more than was required which overpowered the entire biryani’s taste and it ended up being the dish that was eaten the least (not ordering it again) 3. Dal Tadka Dal is one of the safest menu options, one can hardly ever go wrong with it. However, they did mess it up. The Dal was super bland (no salt, no spice) and couldn’t even be saved by pickles. Wouldn’t recommend it till the restaurant’s at least rectified the recipe We also ordered drinks (masala chaas, pomegranate blush, and lemon+mint). Overall the drinks were good, pomegranate blush topping the list though. The service was abysmal. The restaurant had a total of 2 tables filled, one was us (3 people) and another couple on the second table. It took the restaurant ages to fulfil the order. I’d still pass that, however, given the less number of people in the restaurant, one does expect some level of increased attention and service from the staff. There was no one attending to the table, we literally had to call out to the waiting staff again and again for roti. The drinks too took extremely long. Our food was almost finished by the time our drinks came :/ Overall, the only thing that’ll pull me back to this place will be it’s paneer kadhai which i really enjoyed with garlic naan.

A very pleasant Indian food experience. Anyone who is a fan of Indian Street food would love the appetiser platter. Kache gosht ki biryani (mutton biryani) was delicious, not too spicy and meat was very tender a 9/10. Bbq platter was a good mix of kebabs however, it felt a bit under cooked. Overall a nice Indian cuisine experience.

One of the finest restaurants for Indian food. Perfect taste and nice ambience. This branch at festival plaza is best even on weekends as they are not much crowded.

I along with my 6 friends had a fortunate chance of being invited to a dine-in opportunity in Peppermill. Welcomed by a super friendly staff and a great ambience"

They have a new menu that really surprised me and elevated the quality of their food. Very well conceptualized and fits the international taste. Serving is good and would definitely try this restaurant again.

Calm and Quiet place to enjoy food with family if your are at Festival Plaza (Jebel Ali). Quality of the food and especially the attitude and behaviour of the staffs are great. Ambiance is also cool !! This restaurant is located on first floor near to Lulu. Better visit before 9:45pm on week days. Cost is bit on a higher side but it’s worth spending since quality of the food, the service and the ambiance are great.

Food was below average. Honestly an Indian restaurant which cannot make nice daal makhni, they should close down the restaurant. More so, service is so pathetic and delayed get ready to keep waiting.... Even with 3 tables filled this place takes 50 mins to serve a basic order. Have lot of free time at your end and if you are lucky you might get lunch by the time of supper. Furthermore, they don't have card machine working.. and waiter tells you about that at the time of check. Be ready to walk to the nearby ATM to withdraw after eating pathetic food to pay. WORST EVER EXPERIENCE IN DUBAI. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS RESTAURANT. There are many other good restaurants with amazing experience, food and service.

I wish I could give zero star rating for service for this restaurant. The food was below average and the gravies used for the 2 dishes we ordered were the exact same. The daal makhani we ordered was worse than the ones you get in ready to eat packs. Barely 3 tables were full and it took them an hour to prepare 3 dishes. At the end the guy asks us to pay in cash because there card machine stopped working. Man if you can't have a decent service or even a working payment method then shut the restaurant. In short I would recommend this restaurant only if you are bringing a person you hate or have a lot of free time at your hand to wait for the food. Trust me you will get lucky if you get your dinner before midnight snack.

We were excited to go to Peppermill for the ambiance from outside was great. The staff was polite and welcoming. However, the food itself is nothing to comment about. Just another average restaurant, but a little too price for the quality. It was surprising that the chutney was served in a plastic plate and main plate itself did not look very clean.

I ordered AWADHI MURGH KORMA(AED 55) with Butter Naan And Garlic Naan. The food was kinda of average and not as tastey as I expected for the price. The service also was OK, there was nothing wrong with the service as I was the only customer. Overall : AVERAGE !!!! I didn't find anything exceptional to visit again !!!

I was scared of the reviews before going to this restaurant, but we said lets try it.. to our surprise , the food was tasty, the service was good and the portions were big... So we ordered the three chicken tikka platter,, it was delicious, specially the tikka in yoghurt one,, was so tender and well spiced, then we ordered butter chicken with white rice and naan and butter naan... the butter chicken was very nice, a good portion of protein and the naan was soooo tasty that we ordered more... The service was good and the food came fast... Glad I didnt listen to the reviews...I will come back to try other dishes

While the service was exemplary, and the presentation charming, the food itself was quite a letdown. Although my wife and I are not Indian, we both have grown up with and appreciate authentic Indian cuisine and this was far from it. The Butter Chicken and Rogan Josh were bland, while the butter garlic Naan was mediocre and not what I would expect from a more upscale establishment. The highlight was being able to pay through "Qlub" at the table by scanning a QR code, which I found to be convenient.

Ordered via Noon. Food is not worth the price. ❌Less dishes for a North Indian meal/and less quantity too. ❌Average Taste (I hope the dining experience would be nice)

Food is tasty, I tried crispy tanduri allo remind me the taste of my village food. Rest we tried daal makhni and kofta, veg biryani all are well prepared and tasty, Quantity is little less and price is moderate high, which is balance through zameto application with pro discount option.

Very disappointed on the food service. We received half of our meals and for second half we needed to wait for more than 10 minutes. They should do something with a look and feel of the restaurant. Music is not appropriate to the restaurant concept and place is very dark and clattered with unused furniture. Need big changes. At least food taste was good.

This used to be a really nice restaurant with friendly staff and consistently good food. No more. The staff is entirely new and so is the chef. There was hair in the food last week when I went. The waiter didn't get the order correct, there were two waiters at our table, one shouting at the other... Had different dishes and equally bad food just the previous week and had thought I'll give it a try again thinking they just had a bad day. This used to be a regular lunch joint for me and occasional dinner place. Won't be coming back after this.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Peppermill restaurant at festival plaza and I must say it was the worst customer service experience of my life. I ordered a lamb roghan curry along with butter naan and rice, expecting a delicious and timely meal. However, the reality was far from my expectations. Firstly, it took an agonizingly long time, more than 40 minutes, for my order to arrive. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering the simplicity of the dishes I ordered. To make matters worse, the food was served without any plates or salad, adding to the overall disappointment. The prices at this horrible restaurant were exorbitant, considering the pathetic taste and quality of the food. The lamb roghan curry lacked flavor and depth, leaving me thoroughly unsatisfied. The butter naan and rice were equally disappointing, lacking the freshness and authenticity I had hoped for. What truly added to the unpleasant experience was the behavior of the staff and the manager. They were unhelpful, inattentive, and displayed a complete lack of professionalism. Their indifference to my concerns only amplified my frustration. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant if you seek a pleasant dining experience. The combination of high prices, tasteless food, and abysmal customer service makes it a regrettable choice. Save yourself the disappointment and explore other establishments that value their customers.
