Tourist attraction Park Hiking area

👍👍 Beautiful little swimming hole and waterfall. Only a 3-minute hike from the road. Parking is limited so be careful of traffic passing. Also, the water is VERY cold so a good afternoon spot on a hot day. People often mention hike, parking, easy,

Parking is limited at Silver Run Falls trailhead. If you can't find parking, there are 3 more parking spots on the side of the road but be very careful as cars are coming up and down the switchback roads fairly fast. The walk down to the falls is super easy but the water is really cold even in late June. The waterfall is a beautiful sight to see though.

Silver Run Falls is an easily accessible waterfall on a well maintained trail a short distance from a small parking area off of 64. A worthwhile spot to visit with small children and the elderly who may not be able to manage a more challenging hike.

Great hike..super easy and dog friendly. The trail is well maintained and easy to follow. There isn't alot of parking but the hike is short so spaces free up quickly. Would highly recommend..the falls are beautiful.

Beautiful little hike. Water fall was so beautiful, the sound of nature was serene. I recommend this hike. I would say it is kid friendly (even toddler). Beginner level hacking and enjoyable to the while family.

Silver Run Falls is am awesome, easy to see falls outside of Cashiers. The weather was pleasant on our visit - perfect lighting for waterfall shots. Would absolutely recommend stopping by if you can get a parking spot. We ended up parking a few hundred meters south on 107 in a roadside pull over between this and the Coyote Fox trailhead. I wouldn't necessarily recommend parking here and walking along 107.

Very easy access. If you aren't going to stay to swim, you probably will be there 5 minutes. We combined this with Whitewater Falls which is only 9 miles away and also an easy hike. This combination would be good for people going with children and/or dogs.

This is a great swimming hole/waterfall combo. There are plenty of shallow areas for littles as well as deeper areas and a rock to jump from for older ones who can swim. There's also a platform in the center of the falls where you can stand for a great photo op when the waterflow is right. (Needs to be a bit on the low side, otherwise the water will be beating down on you too hard to stand.) Lots of great, flat rocks for picnics, too!
