Went to Fertile Ground to watch the World Cup match. It was packed! The staff did a good job serving the crowd quickly and effectively. It's a cool open space but if you're going to watch something only about half of the seats face TVs. You can bring in food from the truck on site or from some of the other restaurants close by. The beer was good. I'd like to come back for just a casual hang. No tours, I believe.

The interwoven Belgian wit was pretty good, and I also liked the peach sour beer. The pilsner was solid, and the taproom had a lot of space to hang out.

Excellent beer, plenty of parking, food truck(s) at times. (Also restaurant across the street). Very nice tap room. Good people. Pro tip: park in the back parking lot, walk up stairs, have a good local beer and hang out.

Came tonight to try the new sours. Amalfi mist is a must-try!!! Legitimately one of the best beers I’ve ever had. I hope they keep this one around.

Neat little brewery here in Jackson. Clean, good brews, and friendly staff. Limited to-go selection.

Cool to have another local brewery in the area. Great beer but a typical atmosphere. They do have plenty of seats or standing options. . Only tried a couple of beers but they were good.

Great local brewery for hangout. Plenty of space for large crowds and plenty of different beers for people with different tastes. It’s definitely worth local support.

Update: I think FG’s beer is improving slowly but surely. We really enjoy the atmosphere and love having somewhere like this in the neighborhood. Fertile Ground has a great vibe and friendly employees. However in my three visits I’ve yet to taste a beer I enjoy despite trying essentially everything offered. The flavors just aren’t remotely there compared to other regional craft brewers, and many are so carbonated that they don’t resemble beer. I want FG to be successful, so I will plan to give them another chance in the future.

Such a cool place. Fertile ground has a bar with house original beer. They don't service food but have multiple areas for meet-ups. They actually encourage bringing in food. The patio outside is pet friendly. There are other restaurants and shops in this "district" area. Everything is brand new. Cool place to hangout and grab a few drinks. The district is even family friendly with donut and ice cream shops.

Best place to hang out in the Jackson metro area. The beer is really good, and the people working there are super.
