I booked online for a trim with Liz on a Saturday at 1:30pm. I arrived on time and nobody greeted me. After about 20 minutes I was finally asked who I was there to see by John. Another girl came in for a 2pm appointment with Liz also and I wasn't seen until 10 minutes after 2. John trimmed my hair for Liz as she was tied up with another client. The online booking states $25, but I was told $40.... FOR A TRIM. Liz proceeded to tell me the online price is wrong and then says that $25 is the base pay and it depends on legnth. None of that made sense to me. I paid them the money and thanked them but going forward I think it would be best practice to CORRECT your online pricing, not wait until after the service is completed to tell your client a different price, not over book your schedule, and not charge $40 for a trim "based on length" when that shouldn't even be a factor for a trim. I feel like I was cheated out of extra money especially since I washed, deep conditioned, and blew my own hair out prior to coming to the appointment. They were nice, but I feel like that was unprofessional and dishonest business practice. I will not be returning to this salon.

I’ve been going here since I moved to Jackson and have always had a good and professional experience with the loctitians. I just got my locs retwisted by Erin, who offered me a loc detox (hadn’t heard of that before but definitely worth it to clean out my locs) and a nice style as well. She also had some good music playing and made it an overall pleasurable and worthwhile experience!

I went to this salon multiple times before finding a "licensed loctitian". I always loved my hair. However, the wait time was as if I never booked an appointment. My average wait time was between 45 minutes to an hour.

This is a PHENOMENAL place that provides an array of services! Melody is super professional and a joy to be around. She brought my hair vision to life and the atmosphere is amazing!! I also have had the pleasure to have Liz provide her specialized service to me as well. Truly an all-in-one salon experience! Highly recommend!

I was having build up problems with my locs, and just needed a retwist because it was time for one. One of my customers, at my job, recommended Erin over at Natural U Salon. When I tell you all she did not disappoint! I love the way my hair feels and that it's not weighed down. Of course I'm glad that the build up is gone. She knows what she's doing and definitely has a new regular!

Mel did an EXCELLENT job on my hair. My pressed curls stayed in place the entire time at an OUTSIDE wedding. I had movement and bounce. Highly recommend!

I give this place 5 star I came in a week ago too get a silk press.just moving to Jackson Ms.i had been looking for someone who specializes in natural hair. While searching I stumbled upon this gem.i thought my hair was damaged. But it wasn't I just needed a good wash and condition. When i tell you she put the S in SILK press It turned out beautiful. I most definitely recommend and I will most definitely come back .
