😠 I love the idea of this dog park. I like that the dogs are vetted, and there's a fee to join and be a member. I like the locked gates to keep riff raff out. Here's the part I don't like. The beautiful area you can see on google maps with the lake and astro tuff, is for large dogs. The small dog area... People often mention dogs, park, people, membership,

I love the idea of this dog park. I like that the dogs are vetted, and there's a fee to join and be a member. I like the locked gates to keep riff raff out. Here's the part I don't like. The beautiful area you can see on google maps with the lake and astro tuff, is for large dogs. The small dog area is NOT beautiful and not what you'll be paying for. You can put your small dog in with the big dogs but that's not advisable for obvious reasons. Come on, if we did this to people there would be lawsuits!!!! I'll join Paws Park when y'all fix up the small dog park like the large dog park.

Clean, roughly 1 acre donut shaped astroturf dogpark with a nice walkway for people. There is also a small dog area but I don't go to that side. Easy access free parking. Park supplies poop bags if needed. You have to be a member to join which isnt expensive through jax beach parks and rec. Usually gets busy around 1700

Great park for dogs and their owners! The best park is with the Astro turf it doesn’t get muddy when Florida gets a rain storm. Many of the owners walk laps on the brick path around the lake. They have a bucket of tennis balls by the door and a baby pool you can fill for the pups on the hot days! It’s usually very clean with attentive and respectful dog owners who clean up after their dogs.

Paws Park is a SCAM. About $80 according to a local for a “membership” to let my dog enjoy life. Yes, I understand that dogs need to be fully vaccinated, which he is, but there are plenty of people that I have seen walk into the park in groups because maybe 1 out of 5 of them are an actual member. So who knows if their dogs are fully vaccinated? That puts other dogs at risk. I believe the membership should cost about $10-15 max. Waste of money when the vet bills cost way more.

Such a clean safe peaceful dog park. Each monument is an inspiration.

This place is pretty great, it's membership based but people break in or other people let people in. With that I've never had a problem, I think if getting a membership wasn't such a hassle there would be less of that. The actual park itself is maintained well enough and they provide poop bags and trash cans all over the park so people typically pickup after their dogs. I don't know if it's the city that provides it or if another member does but you can find lots of tennis balls that get replenished regularly.

Love this park. The parents are super friendly and lots of awesome breeds of pups visit daily.

First thing! This is members only!! They lock the gate as it is not open to the public. Nice place, not much activities for the pups but still clean and pretty. I think they should have it open to the public and more people would attend. It was very empty when we went.

Nice looking park but it’s an elitist membership only ‘public’ park. I get that folks want dogs vetted to make sure they are ‘safe…. ‘That’s just not how life is.

I appreciate that the park is locked. I want to make sure the dogs that frequent the park are healthy and have had their shots. There are many other parks in Jacksonville for your dogs if you want a free park.

Took my dogs to see if I wanted to buy a membership and the turf tore open my dogs paws to the point of bleeding. Be very mindful about bringing your babies.

Super clean grounds, constant fresh water for the dogs due to special dispensing systems. Plenty of shade with benches for humans. And beautiful murals of dogs painted by local artists! Signage needs updating at the entrance is why I gave 4 stars but truly minor compared to everything else.

It’s a decent size for the area. Turf plus a brick walking path. It’s a big loop with drainage pond in the middle fenced off. There are drinking fountains and hoses hooked up for fresh water. Our pup loves playing here!

CLEAN spacious dog park with friendly people and precious pups! Managed by City of Jacksonville Beach. $85 per year. Dogs must be vaxxed and fixed. Great walking path around the pond so also a great place to get your steps in!

Always fun to let the pups run and play with the local canines.

I absolutely hate you need a membership to use this park. We came from out of town and drove here not to be able to enter. So annoying.

Attended our granddaughters 8u softball game for the first time at this location. First the fields are well kept as are the stands. Small snack bar no longer selling hot dogs but lots of other snacks. Bathrooms are ok and easy in and out. Biggest negative is the parking. They have a second set of games starting as soon as the first are ending so finding a space and getting out and in on the narrow road makes this a challenge. Add to that we picked up a huge nail in our tire so you see why we give it 4 🌟.

If you plan on registering, I was told the key fobs are on backorder until end of June so they aren't taking any new dogs until then.
