Great paved trail in the back of the park, approx. 30 min walk around. and is mostly shaded so it doesn't get too hot. There's a nice boardwalk that goes out to a dock, but is in need of some repairs once you get out to the water. I haven't explored the unpaved trails yet. Overall, I recommend. Just remember to not mess with the tortoises.

This park is beautiful. It has a paved loop that takes you to a boardwalk that I guess is by the river. Responsibly, that boardwalk was closed off to be serviced. Beautiful nature. It also had dirt trails. There are a lot of cigarette butts out front, and there is some trash by the boardwalk to the river. But the VAST MAJORITY of it was just nature 🙂 will definitely be going back. Also, there are benches placed throughout for resting.

Great place to take the family. There is no shortage of ball fields, whether you are looking to play baseball, softball, soccer or are just looking for a field run around in and have fun. There are a couple of playgrounds, including a larger one all the way in the back. It has a pavillion, restrooms, and picnic tables. The Ortega Stream Valley Trail is behind it and winds its way over several miles of wooded canopy, marsh, and the shoreline of the Ortega River.

Great potential, but many of the bathrooms are down, and the playground is out right now. Very nice trail, though. The soccer fields are average as well.

The walking trail in the park is absolutely perfect! Easy to walk and there is a bonus trail that goes out to a floating dock. Such a beautiful place 😍

My favorite spot because no one is ever here. A introvert’s paradise.

Hiking and Geocaching w the kids. Found 3 Geocaches and hid some rocks from #orangeparkrocks. Park needs some work. Playgrounds were closed for repair. Trash all over and restrooms were closed. It’s sad to see what was once a really clean place go down hill.

New playground. Nice bouncy ground but I can’t believe they put in a metal slide in Florida…. Whoever designed this has never spent a summer in Florida heat.

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this park. I love nature but this park is ridiculous. I got attacked multiple times by flying bugs in my face, at one point it was a bug half the size of my hand. I was swatting and hitting my face, hair, and air around me and running and they still didn't leave me alone. At one point I hurt my ear pretty bad with all the swatting I did. I was scared. I understand that this is nature and uncontrollable but I've been to many parks in my life and this has never happened. I left with a migraine when I went there originally to relax. Also, I came to the park alone and there were only a couple different men that I saw at different times while walking. It's a forest. And I did not feel safe. Also there is a long wooden bridge that leads to a body if water. It's a nice view but pretty scary knowing it's full of alligators/crocodiles and there is no stopping them from attacking with the extremely close proximity you have to the water. The only good thing is that there is a path that is paved which if you stick to it it'll help you not get lost. Additionally the entrance of the park by the parking lot before the hike there are no trash cans at all.

Sand pit of a soccer field. This pic was the best spot of grass, the soccer field my kid played on was much worse and he kept coughing and rubbing his eyes from dirt while paying. The main road to park had a construction sign blocking the main entrance lane and confused and delayed us from even getting to the fields. I am ticked off Clay County Soccer sent us to this terrible field

Wish the big playground was open. The little playground by the ballfields is fine if it's not crowded but it was littered with trash and there's no trash can nearby. We didn't try the trails but they look nice. As it is now, it might be a better park for adults and teens but not young kids. If they open the big playground in the future, I'll update the review.

This park is absolutely fantastic. A great place to play sports, walk, see water. Today was my first visit. The boardwalk is very much well worth the walk. I’ll be back

The ponds look very nasty and unkept. That was the only thing that was an eyesore. However, it's a very beautiful park. With a diversity of people enjoying themselves as well as I did.

I’ve been coming to this park for almost 25 years, the park is perfect for walking with a nature trail that leads to the river. You can even ride your bike. Very nice Family environment or outing as along as you take Sun Screen & Bug spray.

Ringhaver park is in the works, I always see some soccer players playing. It is under construction, 🚧. I can definitely see a dog park here as well as a second playground. It has so much potential. Many families gather here. Can't wait for the playground to be reopened. Also if you're a nature lover there's a nice path. There's a table all the way back but it's very rusty. On the soccer field area.

Love this place. Definitely miss the wooden Pirate ship and Wooden Airplane but they definitely don't skimp on equipment. They have so many things besides the always great slides and swings. I grew up here so I might be bias but it's a huge area for regular playground fun or nature walks. Please be respectful of the Gopher Tortoise's, they make home for over 300 species of animals from mammals and reptiles to amphibians and insects, so they're extended family need them to make holes that have been known to go as deep as 40 feet and as long as 75 feet, while digging up to and sometimes over 20 holes. They're not much for conversation but they do walk the perfect speed for photoshoots. That said, take all the pictures and memories you want and leave all the footprints you can.

Nice big slide and bouncy ground but sad they made the park smaller took the bike/jogging trail that surrounded the playground and the bigger swings for bigger kids/parents I like to swing too while I watch my kids play! 😂🤣
