Absolutely excellent experience!! The food was incredibly fresh. We both enjoyed Skillet Bowls, which were fun and easy to create. The gentleman who took our order (I think it was the owner, I should have asked🥴) was helpful and unhurried while we deliberated over the menu. The restaurant is clean, bright and feels as fresh as the food! They have a meal service too, with multiple drop off locations throughout town. I will most definitely be putting that to use.

Everything was fresh, amazing and very clean. The woman who took my order was friendly. My tacos were made fresh, it took roughly 8-10 mins to get my food and it was worth the wait. The dining area was comfy and clean. Can’t wait to return on my lunch break again soon!

I had brunch here on my birthday and it was all around a great experience. Amazing food that came out quick, nice and calm atmosphere, and being able to dine in or order meal prep to take home makes it convenient.

Relaxing unique decor with an island feel. This lovely family business has it all and they have great coupons. The staff is charming and attentive to every detail of your order which is freshly made in house.. I recommend Island fresh which offers an all age appropriate friendly eatery in a comfortable snug indoor or outdoor setting. The foods varied with breakfast too and great homemade lunches too. So thankful we found this lil gem! Started the better health journey and have been searching for places to meet the new lifestyle. Walking in after reading the reviews expecting to pay a good few dollars. I was totally impressed with the cost for two to eat with a Cafe con Leche. You can't beat the price! The taste of food was outstanding! The best chicken bowl. And let me just say, I finally ate a whole plantain. We will definitely be back!

Visited this place for lunch and I was very impressed with the food quality and proportions. I ordered a bowl with vegan chorizo and it was better than Chipotle or Cava. Obviously Chipotle and Cava have more locations and they are conveniently located. However, if you're near Beach Blvd and Kernan, I highly recommend swinging by. They also have meal prep services and they appear to be reasonably priced.

Food here is delicious. I do the meal prep plan, they put together meals that fit your caloric intake and macros at an affordable price.

Island fresh is such a cute mom and pop restaurant. owners are super friendly and easy to work with. My husband and I got meals for the week and they were fresh and delicious. We also ate lunch upon picking up the meals. Overall great meals and definitely would refer friends and family. We love supporting local businesses

Family owned and oh so delicious meals . Dine in or meal prep services and we’ve loved both . And as far as flavor - some of the best garlic chicken , Cuban sandwiches, and more we’ve had ! As long as they are open we will be customers 💞

So I’m vegan, this place is my new favorite place to eat. I came in the morning and ordered food for breakfast and lunch to take to work. I was concerned if I got a bowl of it would still be good when I got to it hrs later. The guy assured me it would still be very delicious… and it was. I got the avocado toast fries and a quinoa bowl, and added fake meat. Everything I ate was soooo good! If you are looking for something good healthy and not too expensive this is your spot. Best place I have found to eat in Jacksonville thus far. Thanks for amazingly delicious meals, a clean environment, and epic service. Definitely will be seeing me again.

Good healthy food. You won’t feel guilty getting any of the items on their menu. Love to know what’s going on my food and this place makes it easy.

Great healthy food with FLAVOR! Best chimichurri sauce in the city, yeah I said it. Good portions. Not the cheapest so don’t go there if that’s what your going for. The vegan chorizo is 🔥 and homemade.

UPDATED REVIEW!! After posting the review below, i received a very peculiar response from the owner. My wife and I, both tried this company a while ago, giving them multiple chances to rectify their mistakes. The food was not to our liking, and we have used multiple similar services with various results. The owner, or someone claiming to be the owner delivered the food to our front door, and we had several conversations with him and his wife/girlfriend during the process The orders we received were wrong, quantity was incorrect and the overall taste was bland and did not taste fresh at all. We actually got sick from the last order, which ultimately was the final straw. In the response to my review, the owner seems to indicate that we’re not actual paying customers, and that I’m disrespectful to women?!?, and attaching his family business. I’m not sure what he’s dealing with on a personal level, to write such a highly inappropriate and unprofessional response. I’m sharing my honest experience with your services, which was not a good one. Original review Terrible food, not clean, every delivery had missing items, tried to overcharge every time

I usually don’t leave reviews often but Island Fresh is hands down my favorite meal prepping company. They’re family owned and local which is a major perk. They also work with you on your orders if you have specific dietary restrictions. Highly accommodating to your needs and orders. The staff and owners are extremely friendly as well. Highly recommend!

Yeah my lady was looking for a more healthier alternative then all of the basic fast food that is offered. We googled a few places and saw the reviews and this place has some pretty good ones so we decided to try them out. And we actually agree with some of their customers, the food was great it was fresh great taste and the employees there were very nice and welcoming. We are actually about to have lunch there today.
