In a post pandemic world, where customer service has taken a nose dive — James and the Touvelle house are the outliers. From the moment I arrived James was spectacular. The rooms were amazing. The breakfast that James provided was one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten breakfast with a grandma in the south. Do yourself a favor and book a room!

Love, love, love everything about this beautiful B&B! James met me at the door, carried my luggage and showed me the gorgeous grounds. This history and décor are spot on and stunning. The pool was fantastic. And the food that James prepared was DELICIOUS. Very comfortable bed, lovely room with lots of windows. And you can't beat the location of this place! We could walk to Britt and downtown restaurants in minutes. Outstanding all around and we'll definitely be back.

We had a great experience at TouVelle House. James was a great host who gave us a tour and explained everything upon arrival. The house is beautiful, as are the grounds and salt water pool. Our room was lovely, as well as quiet and comfortable. It was a very short walk to downtown and the Britt, and breakfast was delicious! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Jacksonville.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience. The house is absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of. James was very friendly and accommodating. There was a pool, hot tub, and sana all available for use. And its within walking distance of multiple restaurants and bars. Think this will become our new birthday tradition.

Beautiful house, beautiful neighborhood, gracious and accommodating hosts! Check in was a breeze with James giving us an informative tour. He accommodated our special request for an early breakfast, which was wonderful, creative and varied each day (3 courses). Our Heritage Oak bedroom was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. The house was nicely decorated and the pool was a nice bonus for a quick dip or a few laps! The grounds were interesting to explore and just up the hill is an historic cemetery. Deer and even fawn were easily seen even at the property itself! James is a great cook and conversationalist but Krisitin was sighted in the backyard garden caring for the tomatoes, zucchini and many herbs. We will definitely stay there again when we visit the area.

James is a Class A Owner/Host. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. House well appointed and maintained. Located a short walk to Main Street. The breakfasts are way beyond expectations and absolutely top notch. You simply can’t go wrong staying here.

Had the pleasure of staying in this gorgeous B&B last week and I can't recommend it enough. The hosts are wonderful, the food is gourmet and the rooms are luxurious, comfortable and charming. Take your swim suit because they have a gorgeous pool, hot tub and sauna too. Love this place.

Hosts are great. Wonderful breakfasts and extremely relaxing environment. Pool area is wonderful place to sit and enjoy a book or just relax. The rooms are very nice with very comfortable beds. Great location from downtown Jacksonville - only a few minutes to walk to restaurants, stores, and wine tasting rooms. Would highly recommend staying here. Only place in town with a pool.
