The bathrooms here are so nice, clean, and spacious. Also the vibe, music, and people are such a good time. Good for chill times but also stay a bit longer and things pop off!

We LOVE Root Down and the weekly Silent Disco! It is such a cute place and everyone has such a great vibe. Drinks are cheap and the house made drinks are to die for!

Pretty cool spot! We stopped to have a quick drink while waiting for our table at Hawkers. No liquor is sold here just beer and wine, but the wine cocktail was tasty. Love the back patio and design.

I was in Root Down Friday evening. I had the best time. Service was efficient and the staff were professional and polite. I highly recommend Root Down For a drink or two.

A hidden oasis in the hustle of 5points Large extensive patio with the most amazing smelling jasmine canopy !! Staff is always courteous and kind with great suggestions for drinkers and wonderful mock tails as well ! All the freshest seasonal ingredients make their shim cocktails worth trying! On Weekends the silent disco is a fun experience even if you feel not the most comfortable dancing or want to go out alone everyone is just vibin. But my most favorite time to chill out is during weekday happy hour with a book or sketch pad it’ has the perfection lighting and some of the best indie and punk throwback music overhead! Def check it out between Sun-Ray and Wolfgang!! Wolfgang is there sister store 😲I bought some shades and a cute outfit and got a complimentary glass of bubbles ! Hell yes!

I was invited up to Root Down to support a skateboard art fundraiser for Lady Skate Day. I’m always down to support skateboarding and local businesses. Root down was the perfect venue for this event. Ample wall space to hang art. A nicely stocked bar. It’s dry January so I asked for a non alcoholic beer and the bartender guided me to some delicious mock tails. I had a blast chatting with people from various generations of the skateboarding community whilst enjoying some delicious drinks. I was happy with the great turn out and the ambiance of this place. The back deck looked super cool but I didn’t have a lot of time for it on this visit. But, I will be back!

Im mad it took me so long to get here but the staff is so friendly and nice the drinks are great and are affordable i just might be a regular now lol

Great vibes, clean, has a back patio that was awesome. Only complaint is the sound system/ acoustics were rough. You expect loud when you go out but the sound bouncing off the brick walls doesn't hit your ears well. But drinks are good so just head to the back patio and chill

Love all the drinks that I've had! The bartenders are all nice. This small place has a great ambience, allowing you to relax or just have some down time, along with the lights and music. There is a dance floor and outside seating area to enjoy the fresh, cool air.

I love the films and movies projected on walls. Great outdoor section in the back. Dark, fun, good variety of drinks. Easy to access.

What a great vibe and place to hang out. I didn't know about the headphones till I got there and wow what a great idea and was so much fun. Being outside is so much better. This was my first time here and I will definitely come back.

My favorite bar in Five Points. Great people, great decor, and great vibes. I’m in my mid-thirties and I moved to town three months ago. I started coming here a few weeks ago. People have been really welcoming, and I’ve had some great conversations. The owner introduced me to some of her friends and regulars and everyone has been friendly. Moving to a new city is always difficult, and I’m glad to have found a place that’s so inviting.

Probably my favorite bar on this strip. Nice and spacious on the inside. Friendly bartenders. Really unique drinks. Try the mojito.

Clean, minimalist lofty atmosphere. Wonderful drinks and service. I'm happy to say as a longtime patron, I've made great friends here, and had many great conversations.

This is my go to bar in five points, so I’m really upset that I had such a bad experience tonight. The man working tonight was incredibly rude to me. I walked up to the bar and he walked right past me to go change an air filter. I thought that maybe he didn’t see me so I waited a couple more minutes until I realized that he did see me and was not going to come back. I sat back down at a table and about a minute later another person walked up to the bar. He immediately stopped changing the air filter to go help the man that had just walked up. That was when it clicked that I was blatantly ignored. I have no idea why I was treated like this, and my wife who watched the whole thing happen was just as shocked as I was.

Chill, classy atmosphere. Weekend silent Discos. Wonderful wine cocktails and a robust beer selection. Highly recommended.

The background music is so loud that i couldn't headphone music without turning it up so loud that it hurt my ears. Also, the headphones have 3 channels. It is clean and roomy with an enthusiastic crowd, but i won't be neck. It's not bad, just not at all what i expected. I did not expect to have to compete with the house music to use the headphones.

An experience like no other! Silent Disco, mingling and an "anything goes" kind of atmosphere when it's after dark!

My sister and I went to Root Down for the silent disco and we had a blast. We both have been wanting to try it for a while and she was visiting from out of state. All of music was great! It seemed like there was something for everyone. Even the house music was on point. I ordered 2 different versions of the champagne drinks from their bar menu and both were delicious and priced appropriately. Although it was a bit humid that night, I appreciated the open air bar and patio in the back. I’m taking everyone who visits to Root Down!

This was a perfect stop for a refreshing drink for my 1st visit to to SunRay Cinema next door. The (NA) Craft lemonade was very good and I’ll definitely order again on my return visit. Shoutout to Bartender Charlie for her hospitality. The interior has a cool contemporary design and is spacious. Seating at the bar was comfortable. Chill vibes throughout along with friendly patrons enjoying their drinks…Cheers y’all and see ya again soon!

Beers are 6 dollars and they have some strong ones. Overall a good place but can be crowded.
