Visited this restaurant-distillery for breakfast and to catch the trolly with family while visiting St. Augustine. What a great place!! The service staff were all professional, awesome, and friendly. The greeter "Emily ' set the positive vibe right off the bat. This old ice house and now restaurant / distillery has been masterfully remodeled and decorated. The atmosphere is great and authentic and the staff was very engaged, and all dressed the part as well. The drinks were solid and the food superb. We finished with a tour of the distillery and gift shop. Highly recommend the Ice Plant Bar and Distillery.

Delicious food and great service. Popped in after we did a St Augustine Distillery tour. Ordered a few drinks and a few appetizers. All delicious! My wife and I decided to order and share the risotto. Also amazing. Our daughter ordered pancakes and bacon and loved it. This place has a super cool feel and ambiance and our server was awesome and super sweet to our kids. Next time we are in town we will be back!!

4.5 ⭐️ / Cool industrial vibe. Sat at the bar for lunch, had the very flavorful Butternut Squash soup and Fish Spread, which I try anytime on a menu. I have come to realize on this trip that I don’t care for the St Augustine spread style; pink fish, colored by pimento and mixed with cream cheese and I don’t taste any fish. This dish was served with kettle style chips so that added another layer that hid any fish taste. Otherwise, great service, multiple seating areas-front to back bar and tables and outside patio. Easy walk from the Historic District.

My wife and I ate lunch here after taking a tour of the distillery. Our server Alexandro was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great suggestions. We had the fish dip for an appetizer and split the chicken salad sandwich. The sandwich was large enough for us to share. We also had the homemade cola, which tasted much better than the big name brands.

We made out visit to the ice plant. Had a little bit different time. We went for brunch. First thing, they don’t take reservations, it’s first come first serve. So when they open at 11:30 you better be in line. We got there and were the fifth or six tables seated. Still have plenty of room. building itself is very cool it’s an old ice plant, house in the same building as the Saint Augustine distillery. The menu is small, but has a lot of quality dishes in it. They offer brunch drinks, including an OK old fashion and a selection of mixed drinks, Coffee that you can have with, or without an alcohol accompaniment, and a selection of beers. The Dutch Baby was tasty and filling, the burger was hearty, and we loved the pimento cheese spread. When you are done, pop over for a quick tour of the Distillery. All in all a fun brunch spot.

Such a neat place. When you walk in you automatically feel like you're in another state. The hostesses were sweet and informative. All the decor is gorgeous! The bartenders were attentive and made us some killer cocktails. My husband appreciated the outdoor seating area so he could take a few smoke breaks. I loved the bathroom (you just have to see it to appreciate it!) Very very cool place and we will return!!

Great experience. We had a large crowd and they were able to shorten our wait and seat us quickly. The setting is an old factory that has been well nicely converted to a restaurant. The food was great and the drinks were excellent. Our server was one of the best I have ever had. Great spot for a late night drink or a family dinner

This was a very nice find. They have several appetizer, but the fish dip was a winner for the table. Besides good food, this place has great drinks, and oddly enough is knowledgeable about their choice of ice on different drinks. Kinda a place you have to go and try for yourself to understand

Very cool place! Great food and drinks. Service is always good. This place is part of the St Augustine distillery. So take a tour with free samples before brunch or lunch!

Awesome food, small menu, rustic Ice House, and friendly staff. Acoustics may be loud to talk - especially with music playing. Restroom visit a must even if you don’t have to go!!! Pay at table so no waiting!!

Unique space! Love the history of the building and they still sell ice to honor it! The food is noticeable made with love using carefully selected ingredients. The decor is beautiful. The bar is well stocked. They just came out with a line of their own special cocktails that were def different than your classics. Staff are knowledgeable about the history of the space and the food and drinks they are serving.

Where do I start?! The attention to quality, customer service and the whole experience was by far the best we've had on our little adventure to St. Augustine. We were greeted by our server, Chris who not only knew my restrictions with my vegan diet, but also surprised me with a custom dinner. From the moment we sat down, he asked us our taste profiles for drink recommendations. As soon as we received our drinks...we were already amazed!!!!! Following our splendid drinks was a full course meal. My vegan plate was literally planned out by the chef! I absolutely was in awe by the flavor profile of all the ingredients that came together so nicely! Chris (our server) asked what veggies I don't have a preference for and was able to execute to the chef my wishes. If you have any doubts on if there's a vegan dish, believe me they care. They will make sure you are able to experience the dining just as much as anyone else. What topped it all was a vegan dessert that my server was able to relay to the chef. Though there isn't any vegan options for desserts, chef carefully crafted a piece of art! He even collected some inspiration from downstairs in the distillery section. To sum it up, the care this team has is just unreal! You can tell they have such passion in their craft! Please don't hesitate to dine in and experience all that Ice Plant has to offer! Thank you and we look forward to coming back one day!

Amazing cocktails! Waited about 2 hours for a table of 4 but had delicious appetizers. Would recommend the pimento cheese and fish dip app. Everyone got the beef Wellington which was cooked to perfection. Fast and friendly service and a clean establishment.

Ice plant was one of our coolest stops in Saint Augustine. Not only is the establishment itself really a nod to old history which aligns with the town and also is so comfortable with great ambience, the food was out of this world! Our server was very kind and made it an enjoyable experience. We adored the pimento cheese appetizer, and my short rib was one of the best piece of meat I’ve ever had! The ice plant burger was also excellent along with the ricotta gnocchi, which was really smooth and so delicious! Cocktails and mock tails were both great as well, we will definitely be back next time we visit St. Aug!

Best dining experience during our stay in St. Agustin! The drinks: we ordered old fashions, which were amazing with really cool and uniquely shaped ice cubes The food: 10/10! We ordered a fish dip to start and for main entrées the lamb gnocchetti and the palomilla. The concept is farm to table. Both dishes were super fresh, delicious and had a great presentation. A feast to our sense! The desserts! Perfect unforgettable ending to our dinner. We had a pear cobbler and another chocolate based dessert The service was outstanding! We got great recommendations and our server was super friendly and personable.

Stopped by this place for brunch with the kids (6 & 2 year old) and the family on a sunday afternoon. This place is really tucked away a bit far from the touristy part of St Augustine. the atmosphere is really hip and the vibe is super mellow with more of a day date kind of feel just judging the adult demographic around us. lots of couples doing brunch dates and absolutely ZERO kids besides ours :) That said, they were very accommodating and did have high chairs available if you're brave enough to come with kids and look past the couples strange stares and judgements of a screaming 2 year old. Beyond that, the food was superb. very locally grown and natural presentation. the arugula salad literally tastes like they just picked it out of the garden before putting it in your bowl. the Wagyu burger was super tender cooked at medium rare. They dont have a kids menu but the chicken sandwich was accepted as chicken nuggets close enough for my kids. they loved it - and it came with steak potatoes which is close enuf to french fries :) the shrimp ceviche was super fresh and just the right amount of tang - and i dont know what kind of sauce was underneath, but boy i could just drink that straight. it was some kind of hollendaise that cut thru the tanginess of the ceviche sourness. All in all, great food experience - great place for a foodie who loves 'different twist on mainstream'.

My wife and I came in on a early Friday evening and didn't have a problem finding a seat. We really enjoyed the old feeling atmosphere of the place but something was off that didn't make it over the top for us. From our experience the food, drinks and presentation was great and definitely a good meal. But the fries weren't all that tasty. For a burger, soup, appetizer and 4 drinks and tip we spent $162. It was good but not $162 good. Something I would like to see is more info about the history of the building. I'm guessing it was an ice plant but from our experience we didn't really see any pictures or info to read or look at.

YUM!!! Farm fresh scratch kitchen. They literally make everything including their own bread and soda. The drink menu is the highlight. Happy hour runs until 6 so get there early. There are no reservations. I called and the hostess recommended an early dinner at 430/5 or a late dinner 830/9 to avoid the lines. We opted for an early meal to line up with happy hour and don’t have any regrets. The frogmore stew stole the show!! Highest possible recommendation! We can’t wait to go back.

I’ve only ever seen a Dutch baby served at one other restaurant, so I had to try their take on this delicious breakfast item. The bartender told me they have seasonal versions throughout the year. The one I tried had carmelized pears baked into it, and this delicious pomegranate whipped topping! It was so good! I also enjoyed an old fashioned, and that was excellent as well!

We stopped in for a quick snack at the bar. We ordered two blue crab beignets and the pork belly sliders. The sliders were absolutely delicious. The beignets were ok. Had some wine and beer. They have a decent happy hour too. The service was exceptional!

This place is outstanding. It’s a must every time we visit. My husband had a burger w/ the perfect ratio of meat to bun, super flavorful and a crisp green tomato, he added bacon. It was delicious. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese, wow! You know something is tasty when you’re drooling while eating, haha. The short rib is tender, caramelized onions, arugula w/ the best cheese pull. The fries are hand cut, cooked to perfection w/ parsley and salt. There’s an up charge for truffle, we didn’t even need. I highly recommend stopping by, it’s upstairs from the St Augustine distillery. That’s also worth a tour if you have time.

First things first, they deliver on everything they promise...great food (black truffle rigatoni was out of this world), amazing service, interesting atmosphere, compelling story...top to bottom, this place shines. We had a difficult situation with a very last minute need for a very large party. They did not treat us like the hastle we were at all. Instead, every single person, from hosting staff, to servers, to leadership, made us feel so welcome. Special shout outs to Daniel for going the extra mile in making the experience over-the-top amazing for my visiting family, to Brian for leading such an establishment so wonderfully, and to Emma for putting up with all of our changes! The food alone is worth the trek, the amazing staff will have us coming back for sure!

Ice Plant Bar is a fantastic spot with a cool industrial vibe that perfectly complements the historic building it's located in. The cocktails are inventive and expertly crafted, making for a memorable night out. Don't miss the blue crab beignets - they're a standout dish that perfectly captures the flavors of the region. Overall, Ice Plant Bar is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for great drinks, delicious food, and a unique atmosphere.

We went on Sunday and only waited 5 minutes to be seated. Server was great. However glasses on table had obvious signs of lipstick and lip prints on them. Had food and wine and no complaints after glassware issue. Would definitely be back!!

What a fun experience! Fantastic drinks and the place is oozing ambience. We had the shrimp appetizer and it blew my mind it was so good! Had we not been eating all day in this foodie city we would have ordered more food, but what we had was great. We went at an in between time as they were changing over from lunch to dinner, but our server was awesome and didn't make us feel rushed or anything. We took our time and enjoyed every minute of it.

First time visiting the Ice Plant and I was impressed. I ordered a mahi fish with brussel sprouts and a celery/potatoes puree. The fish could have been cooked a bit more but everything else was delicious. The sprouts were sooooo good 😍. Parmesan fries and smoked fish dip were both worth the buy. The fries were crispy and the dip was very smokey. I can't imagine you could go wrong with anything on the menu.

Stopped in for a quick bite before the tour and was amazed! Drinks and small bites were delicious and our server was very knowledgeable. Wish we had more time in town to try more of their food items and cocktails!

We stopped in after our tour to grab some food and a drink. The blue crab beignets are top tier food. Lightly battered beignets absolutely filled with blue crab meat and a subtle not overpowering remoulade. Top places to visit. The tombstone cocktail is smooth and brilliant.

This was our 3rd visit to the Ice Plant and 2nd time we’ve had dinner there. It is a MUST when you’re in St. Augustine!! The antique vibe, amazing cocktails and delicious food really are all 5 star! We enjoyed the fish dip (which stands as my favorite fish dip I’ve ever tried) and amazing cocktails. Then my husband ordered the steak which he loved and I enjoyed the sweet pea gnocchi. We also order the chocolate dessert. We left so full and so happy! I was so busy eating I forgot to take photos!! 10/10 highly recommend!

Excellent find just outside of the touristy downtown. Menu was great, cocktails too ( and reasonably-priced) for being all house made. The unique building, atmosphere and service was all wonderful too. Anyone who is dining in St Augustine should plan on visiting.

What a cool place ! It's on the same grounds as St. Augustine Distillery and is located above it. There is a seperate entrance around the back of the building. As the name implies, this used to be an ice plant. The original cranes and pulley system are still in place, giving it a industrial yet modern feel. The service is outstanding, our waiter was friendly, attentive and gave wonderful suggestions. The food is delicious and the drinks are out of this world. I had the Bad Moon Rising, it was smooth, well rounded and moody. Loved the black sea salt & sesame on the rim, perfect touch. We also tried the pimento cheese app. Loved the rich flavor of the dip and they toast the crostini lightly with just a touch of butter. Yum! You should definitely give this place a go.

From Miami and I wish we had service and food this spectacular. Definitely not your average joe restaurant like most in the area. The food was unique and delicious. Every bite was perfection. If I could marry the local fish plate and sauce, I probably would. We would have an amazing honeymoon in the Bahamas. If you have the chance to come here, do it!

Historic location with great service, food and drinks. Stopped by this past weekend around lunch time with a couple of out of state buddies. It took me a couple of runs around the parking lot to find a space, but with all the distillery tours and restaurant goers there always seems to be someone coming and going. We waited about 15 minutes for a table for three, which was reasonable. The service was great and staff was friendly. We ordered a round of old fashioned, which were great of course. We ordered their smoked fish dip appetizer with house chips. It was one of the better ones I’ve had, and the chips were perfectly seasoned and the right amount of crunch. It was so good, I forgot to snap a picture of it before it was devoured. I also had the ice plant burger medium. It was cooked a little more than medium, but it was very tasty and juicy. My friends also had a burger and their pork sandwich. Both also really liked theirs. All in all, it was a great lunch outing and look forward to going back.

This place has a very good atmosphere and ambience. The music is good. The service I’m sure it’s great but for me I think I got double charged for my drink and didn’t realize it two drinks a margarita and another drink called the slow drag I believe to short glass drinks came out to be 50 bucks. This slow drag only cost $13 so I’m sure my margarita didn’t cost that much to bring the bill up to $50 we drank our drinks and we left. I did not receive my receipt because I declined the receipt so that I guess that’s my fault but I feel maybe the bartender should’ve noticed I guess but again my fault I should’ve questioned it but it’s a nice place. It has a upstairs and a downstairs good vibe.
