Y’all…first time trying this place. Started to go to a different place but they were fully booked so traveled back to Prohibition Kitchen and snagged a table. I loved the decor. The staff was friendly. Our waiter, and I’ll admit, I’ve already forgotten his name, reminded me of a pirate…was awesome. He gave us the run down of the specials and he lost me (as I stopped listening) after he mentioned the sliders. Slow cooked ribeye sliders and chicken sliders (honey mustard I think). Naturally, I went with the ribeye. Let’s be real, who wouldn’t choose that?! My husband ordered the giant pretzel and their signature burger. We asked for our items to be cooked medium. Perfection 🤌. Everything came out tasting delicious and exact how we asked. Which is rare these days. I have zero complaints. This place hit all my check marks. I will definitely return to try a different item menu next time I find myself in St.Augustine.

Me and my partner went here together as a date on a Monday night and there was surprisingly NO WAIT! (We expected a long one) and we were sat up top. The waiter we had was absolutely amazing! He was super friendly and we immediately had the best time ever. Sean with darker colored hair made our experience here so amazing to the point I told my whole family we had to come back sometime! The portions are absolutely huge and the food is top quality. Everything came out with perfect timing and this place definitely left us with a smile and full bellies and LOOOOTTS of left overs. Thanks again Sean and rest of team for the awesome night out!

Definitely a great place to come out after a long day walking the shops. Boozy peanut putter shake is strong and rich but so good! Also got a root beer float and was able to add rum! Very good as well. Hit the spot after a long day walking the coast! Excited to try their good looking menu the next time we go out for dinner!

Located in the heart of old St. Augustine, this is a very charming restaurant. Keep in mind that there is always a wait time. We sat up in the balcony, which is not as noisy, if that's what you're looking for. This night they did have a live band which made it more interesting and fun. I ordered the wings, which were a little dry and lacked flavor. The Burger was cooked to order along with a fried egg on top. All in all this was a good restaurant to visit during our St Augustine trip.

Very cool restaurant with a fun atmosphere. There was a mixup with our food that caused us to wait over an hour to get food but our server, Seana, went above and beyond to make sure we were well cared for while we waited and was so kind. The food was amazing. Burgers, chicken sandwich, and salads were fresh and all made in-house. We didn't have dessert but the ice cream and other treats we saw delivered to other tables looked so yummy.

Was in Saint Augustine for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Stopped in here thinking it might be a good place to watch the Tampa Bay Lightning game. Boy where we right! Great fun atmosphere, live music, plenty of TVs to watch the game and the staff all rocks. Decided to eat as well, but we ordered our appetizers and they were big enough that we never actually made it to ordering our meal. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for lunch with family of 5. Friendly Staff, great food, and AWESOME prohibition era decor creating an unbelievable atmosphere. The 2 women band provided solid entertainment throughout the time we were there and we eould loved to have stayed longer into the evening but plans did not allow. Highly recommend the Prohibition Kitchen and look forward to stopping back next time we visit St. Augustine.

Although we missed out on the live music, it was delightful to learn that this place offers evening entertainment. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the incredibly delicious corned beef sandwich. Bursting with flavor, it left us craving for more. Equally delightful was the hibiscus drink, sweet yet absolutely satisfying. Its aroma, if only it could be transmitted through pictures, would surely entice you. However, to truly appreciate this place, you must visit and experience it firsthand. Only then can you indulge in the delightful sounds, tastes, and atmosphere that await you.

Prohibition Kitchen: Where the atmosphere grooves, but the burgers... not so much. It's like they accidentally stumbled into the restaurant business while chasing a good beat. The menu screams "burger or bust," but trust me, it's more like "bust." The bands are the rockstars here, turning up the volume on a lackluster culinary performance. The beer cheese soup? I have had beer cheese soup in Germany and well, this is just awful. I do not recommend. Picture trying to dip fries into a stubborn paste – it's a workout, not a meal. They should rename it "beer cheese resistance training." In this joint, the tunes might make your heart sing, but the food? Well, it's a one-hit-wonder that leaves your taste buds asking for an encore elsewhere. On a similar note, one trip here will meet your sodium intake for the week.

The place was recommended by our hotel concierge. We had to wait for 30-45 minutes to get a table for 2, but it was well worth it. Live music every day of the week, and the staff are very attentive and helpful.

We had a great experience here. Our waiter Michael was absolutely amazing with his service and recommendations. We stopped in for lunch and ordered a bunch of appetizers to pick at. They were all great. We got clams, deviled eggs, wings, and the pretzel. Each was a very large portion and delicious. We wrapped it up with a milk shake which my Son loved and the bread pudding which was just awesome. Next time I'm in this area I'll certainly be back.

The food was delicious, well that is an understatement! Oh and dont get me started on the milkshakes!!! OMG they are good kid and adult are both delicious! The service fast friendly and on point. Never had to ask for a refill they were a step ahead. The atmosphere is absolutely awesome. The building looks small outside but is huge and beautiful inside. I would recommend and will be returning!!

In town on vacation, walking around, & some friends recommended PK. I'm guessing they were a little short-staffed, as they said it was about a 30 minute wait, even though they had some tables open. They did give us the option to sit at the bar though, which was fine. The bartender, was great. She was very attentive & helpful. Took our drink order right away & gave us a few to look at the menu. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg & side of fries. My wife ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger & fries. It took a little while to get our food, but both were very good, cooked right, & the fries were nice. Cool atmosphere, & they had a live band. The rest of the staff was great also. If you're in the area walking around, check them out.

This restaurant is AMAZING. We sat at the bar and enjoyed an old fashion and the rustic/antique ambiance. The bartender was very knowledgeable and attentive. As someone with a peanut allergy, he assured me that they take them seriously and would make sure to tell the kitchen staff. We had the Whiskey Burger and the French dip sandwich. If mushrooms aren’t your favorite, ask to substitute it for onions. Both dishes were absolutely marvelous. If you give Prohibition Kitchen a chance, you won’t be disappointed.

Service was awesome. The food was good, but a few tweaks could make it great. The atmosphere was nice, but the housekeeping could be a little better. There were some sticky areas and some slick areas of the floor, which could lead to more issues than just cleaning up. But overall, this is a great place. I will be back for more.

Elevated bar food. I had the flounder platter: fresh fish, mac and cheese, green beans, and hush puppies. A ton of food. Green beans were too salty. Macaroni had real cheddar in it. Delicious tartar sauce. Fresh and flaky flounder. Everything was hot. I sat at the bar, and there were three very attentive bartenders. The last photo shows a pile of breading in the middle that I picked off, but there was still a lot of fish. Casual atmosphere. I highly recommend!

Such a cool place. The female bartender who was working well with the glasses makes amazing bees knees. The one male bartender who’s tall, and wears glasses could have relayed that no one under 21 can’t sit at the bar. He barked at the 16 yr old that was with us the bar saying he can’t sit there. I told the manager and she was super nice about everything. The female manager is super cool. Love the hair cut. Our server (Chris- maybe?) was super friendly and nice. The menus were my favorite.

Always enjoy dining here. Wife and I grabbed lunch before going over to the Sing Out Loud festival. Got the poutine app and triple mushroom with Swiss and added bacon. Wife had the baked Mac and cheese with grilled chicken. All were very good. PK normally has a long wait, so was pleasantly surprised when we got seated right away. Great spot to eat when exploring downtown St. Augustine.

Had dinner with a large group of 8 people last Saturday. Being the weekend after Thanksgiving and the Nights of Lights in full swing, it was very crowded. There was a long wait of about 2 hours for us to get a table. We put our name down and walked around for a bit, then came back for a pager after about 45 minutes, because they were all out. We ended up getting seated in about an hour and forty five minutes from when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our server was great, and the food and drinks as well. I had a couple of old fashioned, which were great. We also ordered pretzel, beer cheese soup, and mac and cheese with shrimp. Everything tasted great, I especially liked the beer cheese soup. We also had the short rib grilled cheese, which was my favorite. As well as the mushroom burger. Another great selection. This was our first time there, but most certainly not the last. Service was great, food was great, drinks were great, and the live entertainment was as well. We did have one negative experience, but I won’t put that on the establishment itself. There’s a guy that goes around taking pictures of your group, then comes back around to show you the picture and offer you them for purchase. This guy was a real piece of work. Extremely rude and condescending, and was a real jerk when he came around and we told him we would think about whether or not we wanted to purchase any of the pictures he took. Twice he came around and made rude comments about us wasting his time, and that he wouldn’t come back to our table if we didn’t make up our minds because he didn’t have time for that. He almost single-handedly ruined our otherwise awesome experience. He’s an independent contractor that doesn’t work directly for the restaurant. So I won’t put this on them. However the way this guy talks to their patrons, I wouldn’t want anywhere near my customers. I spoke to a very nice manager that was there at the time and let her know what occurred. We love this place and plan to go back regularly, but hope they don’t have that guy there anymore.

Watched the World Cup final over PK’s burgers. We went with the Build Your Own burger option and the Signature burger, super tasty, and the fries were really well seasoned. We also got the Mac & cheese and the fudge (chocolate) shake. The Mac was tasty but not cheesy enough for me. The shake was huge, enough for 2 to share. I really liked the themed interior and menu. Overall, great customer service and great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

This is a great place for lunch. Restaurant decor is interesting and fun. Food was delicious. Burgers are great, but the milk shake was the best I ever had.

Stopped in for an appetizer and drink. Cool concept with thought out decor and menus to match the theme. Staff was friendly and the drinks were decent. The other food and milkshakes looked good, but the pretzel we got was a bit dry/hard/underwhelming. Noticed an unpleasant/unclean smelling odor when first sitting at the bar. Decent experience for a casual spot and would be worth trying the other food and milkshakes if we are back in the area!

I'd rate this 10 stars if I could. It was the the best lunch date ever. I ordered the super bowl salad with grilled chicken. My boyfriend ordered the Whiskey Burger. We also ordered the German pretzel. We sat upstairs had a beautiful view. Check out the bathroom too that was really cool 💜

They got some good handspun shakes here, its a shame they were out of the banana one so we had to settle for the fudge brownie one. The food is good, their PK burger with their burger blend of short rib, brisket and sirloin was good but what made it all come together was the bacon and red onion jam, its salty sweet and crispy. We also had a short rib grilled cheese and switched out the fries for the cheese beer soup. All mains come with sides but you can upgrade them as you like. I really liked their sinks in the restroom.

Arrived around noon on a Thursday. All around awesome experience. Bathrooms were clean. Seated in the front window. The food was on point. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. She checked up on us and refilled drinks often. Fried pickles were great and wings with bbq and special sauce was thumbs up. 2 Lobster rolls in a serving and the fried chicken sandwich was awesome. Super Bowl and Cobb salad was fresh and plentiful. Grilled cheese short rib sandwich and burger was great.

Nice place. Not too “family” oriented. Loud music too many TVs. Waiter Olivia was nice. Food was good. However the water they served and used to make drinks was DISGUSTING. Obviously over treated with chloramine, a terrible metallic chemical tasting brew. We sent ALL the drinks back due to the water. I voiced my concern with Olivia, she got defensive saying I just want to tell you up front that we charge 5 bucks for a bottle of water. Dasani “purified” water. Not even spring water. A domestic beer was 4.50!!!!! If that’s not gouging I don’t know what is. That’s despicable to charge that and the 1 reason I need to never go back. The stores around there charge 2 bucks a bottle but this establishment charges 5. Ketchup. None to be found! The one on the table was empty. I grabbed another 1 off a table because we weren’t seeing our waitress. Empty. I grabbed another 1 from another table. Empty. 3 empties, foods getting cold. No waitress. Finally ask another server to get our waitress. Few minutes later she comes back and I request ketchup. She then returned with a full bottle! Hooray. Fries are getting cold. I had to ask her to remove the drinks when the bill came. Thank god there are other places around to find a 20 Dollar hamburger. The restaurant question. Would we return? No. It’s Too bad because The food was good.

Just what we were looking for. We walked in and were seated right away. On the way to our table we noticed the pretzel. It looked so good. We hope to try that next time. We ended up ordering the wings (whiskey barbecue) and fries. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. The fries were decent. Our service was quick and friendly. The drinks were made perfectly. Clean and fun place to catch a game on TV and a great bite to eat.

They have poutine!!! I was happy to see it on the menu! I got deviled eggs which were bbq that day and chicken pot pie both were incredible. Service was good and not pushy. They had live music as well!

Very cool atmosphere! Live music from 6-9pm on a Friday night. Took only 20 minutes to get a table. We scored a table on the second floor with a perfect view of the performers. We got the PK Burger and the Super Bowl Salad. Both were super yummy and fresh!!!! They source from local farms too, which is awesome. Highly recommend!

Tried to get into prohibition kitchen previously but the wait was just too long. We lucked out this time and got right in! We got the perfect spot upstairs with a great view of the band playing live music. Our server was fantastic! We ordered the giant pretzel as an appetizer and it came out surprisingly fast for how busy the restaurant was. I ordered the whiskey burger and I have to be honest, I cannot stop thinking about it. It was one of the absolute best burgers I’ve ever had in my life! Husband got a Buffalo chicken sandwich that was a special for the day. It was also amazing but nothing compared to that burger the entire time we were in town lol

First time to Prohibition Kitchen. We knew there would be a wait, but our timing was great as it was only an hour. They don't take reservations as it is a first come, first serve basis. The atmosphere was great; like a little step back in time. I loved the lighting on the walls. They had an amazing band playing. The food & drinks were good & so was the service! My husband & I got two different dishes & then we split them. The Bootlegger Burger & Fried Cod Sandwich were on point. We will def be back!

From the front door, to the bar, to the restroom, the theme of the restaurant was executed in good taste. The servers were friendly and lively and well educated on the menu. The menu! Wow! I wanted to try everything. At our table we enjoyed a PC burger 10/10, build your own burger 8/10, French dip 8/10, braised rib grilled cheese 10/10, deviled eggs 9/10, pretzel with beer cheese and mustard 10/10. All the mustards and sauces were made at the restaurant. Go, enjoy!

Wow! What a fantastic place. Absolutely the best Cobb salad I’ve ever had. It comes with fried chicken on top, which was outstanding, and bacon…jam! Instead of bacon they use bacon jam which was so tasty. And the fried pickles…oh my! Plus the whiskey BBQ burger was melt in your mouth cheesy-bacon goodness. Our waiter was so friendly as was the hostess and the manager. Plus there was live music! Highly recommend. Well done!!
