Picked this hotel for the location. This might be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, it's more like an extremely cheap, long-term flophouse. The good reviews on here must be people who are friends with the owners. The front door to the tiny lobby has a security buzzer to try to keep people from coming in who aren't staying here. Things are falling off the walls in the hallways. Our bathtub has a hole in it. The room smells like mold. The kitchenette appears to be two decades old and the rooms are not stocked with any items. You must get them from the front desk. On the plus side, The front desk lady was nice but overwhelmed, and the Wi-Fi works.

Had a wonderful stay at this location. Staff was great. Room was great, and the bed was bigger than I expected. My 2 night stay was great. Rooms were very clean, and bathrooms too. I enjoyed my stay very much.

I'm here on business for about a month and so far I must say that this place is quite nice. My room is clean,comfortable, and very relaxing. After a long day of work, I find myself unwinding in the recliner in my room (that recliner is "undefeated "! The manager, Mz. Camille Huyghue and her staff are very friendly and helpful, their are missing one thing though, a pool! All hotels in 'FLORIDA ' should have a pool, whether the pool be located inside or outside! This place seems pretty much safe and I haven't heard any noise down the halls from dogs, kids, or adults. The hotel needs so more upgrading like their kitchenette but for now they are useful and aqadequate!.

This extended stay America was perfect for us because we were only spending one night. Keep in mind there's no pool at this location. However I give them five stars because the room was clean and the front desk lady was incredibly friendly and she was super busy in the short amount of time that it took us to check in since she was the only one running the whole front area there. So I have to say a huge thank you to her positive attitude for being by herself and running the whole show checking in people and taking care of our needs with a positive attitude. And I love the fact that they give you four towels in the room to use after your shower plus all the small washcloths and face cloths that they have to offer so that was the perfect amount of towels. The room was very clean and it was in a great location actually close to a lot of good restaurants and the interstate as well.

Lady at front was EXTREMELY NICE. No issue with staff. But... Qtip in window, which window was busted, cockroach IN OUR BED, and mold/mildew under sink lip... Was trying to get my daughter ready for her wedding in this room but REALLY

Great staff. Every employee I've met is very nice and helpful. My room is clean and nice. Ive seen zero bugs and the only smell is different foods being cooked by long term guest; which is fine. I'm staying here until my condo is ready. Being in the city there are some sketchy folks outside but the hotel cannot help that. I'd recommend this hotel and I'm super picky!

I have been here for a month and my only issue is housekeeping being done biweekly. Lesia is very friendly and make you feel like home

The lady at the front desk at check in was super nice and helpful. Once we stepped off the elevator, we were immediately hit with the smell of pot. We walked into our room and it was very obvious that the room had been smoked in. We walked to the front desk and they stated they could come spray but they had just cleaned the carpet so not sure what else they could do. When we returned to the hotel the following evening the smell of marijauna was overwhelming as soon as you opened the door. The cigarette smoke smell in our room was again so bad. Shower had a hole in the wall and the shower head was so low that you could not take a shower without bending down. The room itself was dirty, bed linens were yellowed but the worst thing was the smell. Not sure how anyone could stay there!

Absolutely awful, they should be shut down!!! Stayed there July 2, 2022...do not recommend When is the last time someone from Corporate visited this location? What kind of hotel are you running that normal people who want to stay there should feel unsafe and dirty/disgusted by the condition of the hotel....awful! Do they have a manager or head housekeeper, or any housekeeper? The entire hotel smells, the sheets were not clean, it's as if the bed was not cleaned in between guests. Our clothing & hair smelled after staying in the room one night. Drugs were being delivered to guests, on a guy on a Segway on the elevator (the person on the Segway told us so...). Why did the front desk allow the Segway past the front lobby? There were 3 'workers' behind the front desk that night, all of them appeared to be so stoned, it was ridiculous.

I made the reservation from 09/11/23 to 09/29/23 and yesterday, 09/22/23, when I returned to the hotel and entered the room, I found the room completely clean and without my belongings in it. When I spoke to the secretary at the hotel, she told me three different stories and none of them were true. First, she said that my reservation had only been made until 09/22/23, but she changed her story after I showed her the reservation with the correct dates. Then she said that the hotel had tried to contact me by email, but there was no email from the hotel for me that day. Then she said that they had actually canceled my reservation after failing to make the payment, which is theoretically made every 7 days, but if that were true the payment would have had to be made on 18/09/23 and not 22/09/23, and there had been no attempt to purchase on my card. After 30 minutes, my belongings were located, but all my food and water that was in the fridge was thrown out, which cost me around 100 dollars. In addition, I had to make another reservation at the hotel. A great disappointment and I still have no explanation as to what happened and why my belongings were removed from the room.

I checked into Extended stay for one night and I enjoyed the stay. The front desk associate was a new employee Ms. Katrice and she was phenomenal. She provided exceptional service checking us in Her attitude and personality is Outstanding. The room we stayed in was clean, The lobby was clean and smelled nice. I will definitely stay again.

Shawndrea, is sweet, keeps the hotel secured ( especially the back door). She keeps the hotel clean at night, and takes care of guests needs quickly and efficiently.

Love the stay, very relaxing and the employees are very nice. Shawndrea is very helpful ,very gorgeous ,and so helpful when she's on her shift. They only have one house keeper but she does a very good job as well. First time in Florida Jacksonville as well thanks for the lovely stay

Very professional staff, friendly courteous and very clean rooms, I listed pictures of my room even though I was actually using the room , the rooms are clean and spacious. The only downside for this location is if you have a vehicle the parking fee is $10.00 per night or you will be towed!

I just want to share that I have been staying here for a little over 3 months due to my husband's work. I can not believe how incredible the staff is. Lisia is always at the front desk when I need assistance, and she is always happy to help. The first room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and we asked to he moved to the 1st floor because we have a 3 year old and Lisia was amazing throughout the process and let us know the moment one was available. I highly recommend anyone to stay here and definitely get to know the staff!

The location is convenient, 10 minute drive to Riverwalk. Ms.Lisia was extremely helpful and helped with anything I needed. She was understanding and patient with my family. Would highly recommend to friends and family traveling.

My stay here was pleasant. Shawndrea and Lisia were exceptional in helping with all my needs. While providing an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere.

Saafiyah was extremly helpful and overall provided a good experience for my stay. She was always friendly and offered sugestions that were informative. I know she will do well on any team she is a part of. I am thankful for her willingess to be helpful durining my visit.

Best Extended Stay in All of Jacksonville to date! We travel for wk and stay in a different E.S.A every nite and this is the best one by far. The only thing I would change is the breakfast. People love a hot meal 1st thing in the morning instead of a muffin or granola bar

The Staffers, Camille Huyghue, General Manager & Mi'Lisa Macer, Assistant General Manager have been so wonderful to me. Their helpfulness and professionalism really has made a BIG DIFFERENCE in my stay here. These woman are DEFINITELY AN ASSET TO YOUR COMPANY!

It Saddens me to see all the Outdated Reviews of this hotel about Roaches and such. That can't be further from the truth from what I see. We travel Constantly with my boyfriends job and have been to many Extended Stays and I can say with every fiber of my being that this location is one of the best yet!! The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. Misty and her team, especially her new lady, Waleska take Pride in their Job and that can be seen through the cleanliness of everything. The Staff is very Kind and accommodating as well. If you're looking for a quiet , clean , affordable place to go add this to your Bookmarks!! I stayed here August 16, 2023 and everyone was here was so nice and welcoming. I stayed her to go to my carnival cruise and to see my niece at Edward Waters University. Lesia and Saafiyah did amazing job explaining everything and went over beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant.

Real quick, they don't take cash, nor cashapp... they take 100 deposit plus parking fee. They do take chime tho... alot of people need to know this because it is not posted on the website, however Lisia was so friendly, talkative, sweet and very cooperative. The location is walking distance to alot of restaurants. The rooms was clean, I love the stove, microwave, sink, & fridge. You can ask to borrow the dishes . I will definitely stay again .

Very convenient location in the downtown area. The place is clean and the service desk excellent with the information on the property. I would recommend it if your coming to visit for a short time.

Sertita wingrad goes the extra mile for her guest she runs this hotel by herself she be the manger. She needs more paper in her checks. Corporate office needs to get it to her. Awesome lady.

The hospitality is beautiful; everyone from all the front desk personnel Mi’Lisa, Jameshia, Katrice and the head housekeeper Misty who keeps the rooms top notch for us. We would recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family. But we truly understand why the staff is so supporting and have outstanding customer service; from the leadership of their General Manager Camille. She set a standard of excellence that is above all hotels that we’ve experienced. This is a awesome team.

The trash 🗑 room chute was disgusting and wreaked like a landfill. Spray some bleach or ammonia to kill the smell. It was freezing 🥶 in the hallway because the A/C was on despite it being 55 degrees outside. The staff was friendly and accommodating despite the other short comings

I have been here for almost 2 weeks for my employer. We have several rooms to accommodate our staff and the staff is always kind, courteous, and professional towards us. They are not paying, and go out of their way to o help us if we need. Thanks guys and gals....

So, I stayed at the property for an extended time. Miss Camille, Clayton, and Misty were very friendly and always helpful. Throughout my stay I felt very safe and almost at home. I would recommend this property to friends in the future. Thank you again!

Very nice and clean hotel. Easy to get to as well as great location to downtown. Lesia that works the front desk went above and beyond. She is a true asset to the organization. She was able to handle a reservation issue seamlessly. Definitely will be back for future stays.

The staff are personable and great rates. I lost/de-magnetized my key over 20 times, and they still had a good attitude towards me. 10/10 would stay again.

I travel a lot for work and this is hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at! The lovely front desk ladies are all so nice and very helpful. Even the “behind the scenes” crew are very chipper and polite. I couldn’t ask for a better stay away from home!

Just had to move my sleeping children from room 221 due to bed bugs at 2am! We did catch said bugs and put them in a cup to show the receptionist. Do not stay here! This place is absolutely disgusting.

Very average. Extended stay includes kitchenette but no coffee, mugs, cups, dishes, etc.

It was after midnight and last minute when we found this room. It was costly at $165.00 And they charge $8.00 extra to park! The night attendant was friendly enough but them we got to the room. It was one with a mini stove a microwave and a fridge. I am assuming this building was built in the 80s and though the rooms were clean the appliances were all dated badly. The fridge had rust stains on it. Mattress was comfortable I think. We were to tired to notice if they were not.
