Employees were rude. I was harassed buy a African American man at the dryer late last night , the man kept trying to get me to buy crack and fentynal. He left and went to other rooms and came back to where I was at a total of three times. (by the washing machine) He even pulled out a glass tube and started smoking crack in front of me. The 3rd time he left I grabbed my un dry clothes and left. I went to tell the desk worker about what had just happened and tell him what color vehicle and a description of the two men in the vehicle. He than proceeded to say "you should be in your room right now and just kept saying okay and putting his hand in the air rudely while not even looking at me. He didn't even care or address the concerning issue at hand. The men were still riding around the parking lot 2.5 hours after I addressed the issue... When the man first approached me and left , I attempted to call the front desk 3 times just to only get a busy signal every time. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel after the experience and service I received.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Had a confirmed reservation for my wife to stay here on Friday February 25. The guy at front desk gave away her room before she arrived. She then had to drive all over Jacksonville looking for a hotel with availability. Didn’t finally get a room until after midnight after 2 hours of searching. Ended up having to pay over double what we were planning. Very disappointing. Unfortunately I guess a confirmed reservation means nothing here.

Pretty nice hotel for the price of a double bed with 3 adults isn't too bad! Had to make a last min switch from another hotel and got a room here with no problem! I recommend this place if you can't find anything else! 👍

We arrived close to 10p. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked well but there were numerous things wrong with the room. We were left 1/2 a container of shampoo and many things were broken or filthy. The first thing we tried to do was turn on the TV but could not get the TV to work and the night counter man came quickly to fix it. We found the other problems over the course of the night. We were leaving early the next morning and I had 2 children under the age of 13 so I chose not to move rooms. If we'd been staying longer, we would have moved rooms immediately. I did give the day counter person the list of things that were wrong and asked for some kind of discount. The manager called later in the day, apologized for what was wrong and gave us a 10% discount.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying in. The office is on the backside of the building, so good luck finding it as there is no signage. The door to our room had to be forced open/closed. Upon walking into the room, we were met with a stale stench, damaged dressers, rusty/damaged lamps, a broken bathroom door handle, running toilet, leaning shower head and stained sheets. The ceiling of the room was extremely discolored. There are other hotels on the property, as well as several stragglers that just loiter around all night long. The toilet and shower were you essentially located in a closet, as there was minimal space to maneuver. As an averaged size male, I had to step between the toilet and shower just to get the door closed, almost falling into the tub. I travel frequently, thus I have a plethora of hotel experiences to compare this to and this has to be one of the worst accommodations I’ve ever experienced.

The blankets on the bed had burn holes in them and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room we tried to contact the front desk and no one answered there were areas in the bathroom that were still dirty overall not a good experience

Do not stay here. I repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE. Bugs all in the rooms (mostly cockroaches), smells musty and is dirty. Must wear socks in your room unless you want black dirty feet, bring allergy medicine because the musty smell will bring a soar throat and runny nose, bring your own blanket because theirs has brown edges, bring your own pillow because you will find a cockroach in it, and lastly keep the bathroom light on so you don’t step on a crunchy bug. We drove 14 hours for a wedding in Florida and got a cockroach infested room. Unfortunately we could not find another room that fit our timeframe of staying. I will never stay at any Baymont ever again (in any state or anywhere I go).

The hotel is in very close proximity to a very run down hotel and they sort of share parking areas. Several homeless people stayed in or near the building and the was quite a bit of loitering at night in the immediate area and parking lot. Room and service were a 10 but the neighborhood was a 2.

Just awful. Dude had an attitude the entire time told us there were no rooms even though we had a reservation. As for a surprise deposit i dont think you should waste your time money or gas getting here.

As soon as we got in here we had to kill a roach. The room smelled awful and you couldn’t change the channel on the tv.

Room was not really clean nor sanitized. Remotes to tv was hella sticky. The room had a very wet musty moldy smell. And a lot of heavily noticeable repair/patch work. The price shouldn't be as high considering the condition of the hotel room and neighboring hotels and their guest.

The staff at Baymont treat you as family. This place has come a long way. From the owner to the yard and maintenance workers will give you a sense of "I belong here". Follow their policies and you are a remembered guest on your next visit.

The room was recently remodeled and very clean. The beds were sooo comfy. I reserved the rooms and prepaid. I was still asked for a $50.00 deposit. The motel was very quiet. Although an older offering I would select this hotel again.

Well for starters. I booked an as advertised Double bed. Was given a full bed instead and was told there has never been double beds at this location. When booking room was told total price won't would be $90 and some change. Was charged for a deposit that was not included in booking. Upon arrival in room found a full size bed. Table was filthy. Was also told there was a desk in room. For which there was no desk.

Paid for two night reservation. Called ahead and confirmed, asked clerk if it was OK to be checking in behind schedule. I was to yes, but would not be able to change my reservation. When my kids and I arrived, just having left hospital with stitches, we were told that I did not have a reservation. I showed my identification and attempted to show my booking confirmation email, but the clerk refused to look at it and vehemently opposed my insistence on a confirmed paid reservation. He did not allow us to check in. The hotel did not issue a refund. $185 scammed from our family. No effort has been made to make amends nor return our money.

The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. Has microwave and frigerator in the rooms and a killer pool. Definitely going on my favorite list. During the day the front desk people aren't very friendly or professional. But the evening shift is awesome. I've been here five days. Housekeeping is great. Also has laundry facility. For the area that is known not to be safe at all to walk in the evenings or during the day much less I still feel very very safe here and I am traveling solo. Plenty of security and cameras. I love it here if I decide to stay in Jacksonville another week or so I would definitely stay right where I'm at. And the price is reasonable for as nice as it is. Highly recommended

Might be the worse room that we have stayed in. 1st room no AC, they moved us. The other room had AC, but rusted lamps, bath tub the paint was coming off and I killed a roach. They may ant to change the windows because you hear everything outside them including the traffic going onto I-295.

Positive ---> Good customer service, Vick from the front desk was professional and helpful to me. The room was clean and the hotel surrounding areas were clean as well. They've a washer and dryer machine for a fair price to use. Close to the hotel within a walking distance you can find a Denny's Restaurant, Chicken Wings Restaurant (a good one), BBQ Restaurant, Chipotle, Olive Garden Restaurant, China buffet, Pizza Restaurant, Chuck E Cheese, etc. Stores - Five Below, Dollar Tree, Publix Super market, Sam's Club, Michael's and TJ Maxx. Public bus stop is around 7 minutes walking from the hotel. Modern key system on each room door! Negative ---> As a suggestion they need to paint the rooms and update the furniture including more comfortable mattress, that will be helping the hotel to receive a best "rating" from guests. Also the should extend the breakfast hours at least one more hour. Wishing lot of blessings to this hotel and their staff!

Location was good that is the best part. Room was clean. No bugs or mold. The rooms and parking lot are very uneven. Beds are VERY firm!! Morning staff less than to be desired….needs allot more training in customer experience! Furniture outdated and blanket as well. Damaged drawers attempting to be closed you could tell. Rooms need to be gutted and redone in my opinion.

If you want a nice place to stay, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!!! The room STINKS! Smelled like puke the entire time. Especially the bathroom! Little gnats crawling all over the table. Beds and pillows were great. That's the best thing I can say about the whole experience!!

This is my second stay at this location. I have been incredibly impressed with the staff and the property both. They work tirelessly to create a comfortable, clean, and welcoming experience for their guests. Sometimes a second look is required to get a real understanding. Not the case here. The return visit was a personal choice based 100% on my initial experience. If you need a comfortable place that's affordable and offered extended stays...you've found it.

We were going to stay there because of the location and convenience to everything. However, before we could get out of the car; the guy was asking us for money! We immediately left.

The hotel was a mess and the room was nasty and there were bugs and the was no safety present at all we were moved to 2 different rooms and there were no locks on the doors and the latches were broken. The front desk person was rude and provided no customer service. As a Diamond member of several hotels this is not what I have come to expect from any hotel and the pictures go on to prove what is being said, the fact that they go on to charge a deposit for this atrocity is absolutely ridiculous. This hotel looks like a trap house room and is a complete travesty.DO NOT book a room here even if you have no choice!!!If I could give it a negative -5 review it would still be to great for this location!!

I reserved an expensive king suite and they gave it away to someone else. Put me in a different room without saying anything, I guess hoping I wouldnt notice? I accepted the wrong room then both Tv's in the room didnt work! No attempt to fix any problems. Avoid this place. Give your money to someone else. They genuinely do not care. BTW Save your B.S. automated response. I seen you replied with the exact same thing 7 years ago and still having the same problems.

Amazing customer service, mediocre room. The room was clean but was also a handyman special. The bathroom door didn't fit the frame, so it couldn't close, to give you an idea. We had a bit of a problem checking in, thanks to Priceline, and the clerk who helped us went out of her way to help us. Customer service here was amazing.

Great room besides, tons of people from other hotels on the property loitering everywhere. Host couldn't speak good English to help me find my room in a maze. If night, you can't see the room numbers without walking up close to the doors. And we had to sleep with coackroach bugs in the room, im watching one crawl on the ceiling as i write this. Lightbulbs were removed from some of the lights. Other than that it was nice

The beds were super comfy and the pillows were great! The main problem is the people outside yelling all day and the blow dryer in our room had a lot of hair on it. Overall not bad but not great.

This hotel is by far the worse I have ever experienced while visiting Jacksonville. The staff is very rude and the manager does not care whatsoever how his employees treat the guests. The lady at the front desk not sure her name but she sounded Indian was very unprofessional when trying to talk to her about a reservation issue. Yes, I know a hotel is something temporary for most people but I would spend the extra few dollars to stay somewhere else than to ever stay here again. Think twice people or chance having the same experience as me or worse.

I need to give it -5 stars but that’s not an option. DO NOT STAY HERE!! The roach comments are 1000% true! They are everywhere and I’m afraid to put my bags down. Sheets are stained. Walls are dirty. Bathroom has hair on the floor and tub, which is dirty and peeling bad. They didn’t bother vacuuming the floor either. It’s nasty here. I’m laying on top of the covers with my clothes on just waiting for morning so we can get the heck out of this dump. Oh and management..keep your apologies..per these comments people have been complaining and obviously nothing has been done.

Our room 165 was clean but smell was bad. I killed 3 cockroaches. For breakfast we had scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, fruit, bread, cereal not so bad.
